There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

My family was in town for a funeral, and we were able to book Victoria's home and save versus booking multiple hotel rooms. The location is minutes of I-95, so the home gave us a nice, central home base with a kitchen to get to everything and feed the kiddos between events. While we weren't looking for a beach trip - we were able to walk to the local beach and enjoy it with our young kids for a few hours over the weekend. The home was clean, comfortable, and worked perfectly for us. Communicating with Victoria was very easy, and check in/out was a piece of cake as there is a lock box on the house. If I need to bring the family back to the Stamford area, we'll definitely want to stay at Victoria's home again! Thanks!

As great as it looks in the pictures, they don't quite do justice to how beautiful and unique this place is. Took full advantage of the Sauna and highly recommend if you need a quite retreat!

What a gorgeous stay. My partner and I celebrated our five year anniversary here and each detail was perfect. The home is wonderfully curated, with stunning art, decor, puzzles, plates, you name it! And by the window, the feeders attract all kinds of birds that I’ve never seen so up close. Woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees. You hardly need the TV, it’s so entertaining. The place is spotless and serene. And Rosy is so responsive while giving you complete privacy! You can tell she really cares about the experience she provides. If you’re looking to stay in an artfully cozy home, this is the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was.l beautiful, immaculate, and incredibly well equipped—especially for kids with the plethora of games and toys. Jennifer was responsive and a great host. The house is on a serene, dead-end street, and outdoor area is perfect for kids.

Petra is an incredibly responsive host, always available and ready to answer questions. The house is quirky (and I’ll say not maybe the best if you have mobility issues), but very cute and perfectly set up for our needs. The yard is excellent for dogs, and the location is also great, with a bay beach in about a 20 minute walk and a coffee shop and a few restaurants as well. Thanks Petra!

The view from the back porch is even more beautiful than you would realize from the images on AirBNB. This is a lovely house in a tranquil, breathtaking location!

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

It was Very Great, calm, quiet. In our stay, the guests upstairs were very friendly, even during after hours. The vast land in the backyard was very enlightening , came across a couple of the friendly and nosy neighbors (The Deer😂 🦌). Overall it was very clean & i loved every minute of it.

A great place to stay if attending an event at the big E. Short drive to the venue. Beautiful farm with beautiful trees and animals to interact with. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements and plenty of extra linens, blanket, pillows. Slept 3 grown men with ease. Would absolutely reserve again. Way better than any hotel. The hosts were great very nice people. Your on a farm, not at the Hilton, remember that while booking and you will not be disappointed. Loved this place!

This is our second year at Emily & Carol's cabin. It's homely, cozy, lovely and warm at night with a small fire going and the TV on. We spent the evening assembling legos hah! We had an amazing time looking out towards the lake and would love to come back next year too!

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

This was perfect for our overnight! Felt right at home and had so many great restaurants and quaint shops close by.

I was very pleased at the pet- friendly features of this home away from home. There was lighting throughout the edge of the backyard which allowed me to safely take my dogs out before bedtime. We also took short walks in the neighborhood. The area was very quiet at night and I slept very well. I lived in the same city in a different area for years and had never experienced that level of quiet!

House was very easy to get to and very clean. Surrounding neighborhood was nice and quiet. Outside igloo was warm and cozy. Downstairs game room was a hit with the big kids.

When my plumbing went rogue and turned my floor into a squishy disaster zone, I needed a place to crash that wasn’t half underwater. Enter Sally’s place—a true oasis in my time of crisis. First off, this place is so nice that I briefly wondered if my house was even worth saving. It’s cozy, beautifully decorated, and so clean. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, making me feel like I was living the high life—literally. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. The view? So peaceful I considered writing poetry. Bottom line: If you need a place to stay, stop scrolling. Just book it. But be warned—you may never want to leave.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

Our 2nd stay at Elizabeth’s house and it was as nice as our last visit. Our kids love exploring the home and property which has a wonderful view. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace to relax after skiing. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time. The house was really big and perfect for a big group. The common areas allowed us to spend time together and there was so much to do in the house and in its surroundings. We definitely recommend it.
