There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Creation station is a very unique, warm, and inviting space. My partner and I are both musicians and appreciated that there was a stage and instruments right there in the space. We also went for the enchanted forest walk behind the guest house when we returned back from seeing some live music at night – with the lights twinkling and the moon shining above, it was very magical. Apple the dog greeted us and played with my dog (which was great since he gets anxious when we’re away from home and does much better when he’s worn out). As a creative person, I really appreciate meeting other kindred folks, so meeting John was a real treat. Furthermore, I messaged John after I returned home and realized I’d left my cell phone charger, and I received it in the mail just a couple of days later. I would definitely stay here again.

As great as it looks in the pictures, they don't quite do justice to how beautiful and unique this place is. Took full advantage of the Sauna and highly recommend if you need a quite retreat!

What a gorgeous stay. My partner and I celebrated our five year anniversary here and each detail was perfect. The home is wonderfully curated, with stunning art, decor, puzzles, plates, you name it! And by the window, the feeders attract all kinds of birds that I’ve never seen so up close. Woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees. You hardly need the TV, it’s so entertaining. The place is spotless and serene. And Rosy is so responsive while giving you complete privacy! You can tell she really cares about the experience she provides. If you’re looking to stay in an artfully cozy home, this is the place.

Ginny’s farmhouse was a perfect home away from home for our family (including our dog) visiting our daughter nearby. Everything was warm, comfortable, lived-in yet very clean, and best of all, Ginny was so responsive and flexible with us when the heavy snow changed our plans. We enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, use of a full kitchen, record player, and games.

This was such a great place for our group of 14. It was big, clean, and the amenities were amazing. Lance was really helpful and quick to respond with our questions. We would happily stay here again.

The house was everything we expected it to be! Everything was amazingly well stocked. The kitchen was full of dishes, glasses, pots and pans for us to use. The bedroom was complete with pillows, comforters and sheets. The bathroom had all the towels, wash cloths, soap and shampoo you could use. The living room had ample seating with plenty of firewood for the fireplace. There were even robes for the hot tub! Communication was great as well. Deb was great giving us all the information we needed before our stay. She also left us a nice welcome note! If you still had questions, there's also a binder in the kitchen that explained everything and includes phone numbers should you still need assistance. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maple Hill Farm. Walking around the farm to visit with the llamas, donkeys, chickens, and ducks was a highlight of the weekend. The area is so peaceful and picturesque. The studio is very clean, well appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable with warm flannel sheets. Philip and Larry both communicated clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. During the weekend, we enjoyed a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum and dinners at the Norte Azul Cantina and the Proprietor's Lodge. We highly recommend this studio.

This was the second time staying in this house with another family. Can't beat the convenient location to local mountains for skiing. House is spacious and plenty of room for two families of 4. Shiyrah is friendly and communicative.

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

Donna's place was a wonderful weekend stay! Beautiful property and guest house. Well appointed and care for. Just a few improvements that would have made our stay even better--a small microwave for quick reheating of coffee/leftovers, a luggage rack and place to store/hang clothes, and ensuring the driveway and a walking path are cleared of snow even when out of town (with thawing and refreezing, we had to navigate two inches of solid ice, which was terrifying both on foot and in the car).

A lovely house in a private location. Our kids loved the games, watching movies on the projector, and watching deer from the window. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was comfortable.

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

This was perfect for our overnight! Felt right at home and had so many great restaurants and quaint shops close by.

House was very easy to get to and very clean. Surrounding neighborhood was nice and quiet. Outside igloo was warm and cozy. Downstairs game room was a hit with the big kids.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was very conveniently located to the base of Jiminy Peak, which made getting to and from the mountain very easy. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed. We used the fireplace twice and it was super easy. Having access to the facilities at The Country Inn at Jiminy Peak was great as I am injured and can’t ski currently, so instead I went to the gym each day. My family didn’t want to leave and my kids are asking when we can go back!

Felt right at home, check in was very easy, beautiful place, very friendly enjoyed his place thinking to coming back again my business send me to Connecticut! Thank you!

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything

Twelve members of our family stayed here for our annual ski weekend at Jiminy Peak. It was exactly what we needed as our home base -- plenty of room for all of us, good amenities, and the living room gave us a large gathering space where we could all sit after a day of skiing and swap stories, play games, and just enjoy being together. The house was very clean, well-stocked, and the owners were really responsive. We highly recommend it!

Our 2nd stay at Elizabeth’s house and it was as nice as our last visit. Our kids love exploring the home and property which has a wonderful view. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace to relax after skiing. Would highly recommend!

It’s a great place to stay and I would not hesitate recommending this location to anyone
