A lovely apartment on two floors, at the top of a beautiful Georgian building. We used the round room inside the rotunda at the front to have breakfast whilst watching ships on the river and out at sea.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is so near the pier and heart of Southwold, it was the perfect location. The apartment was really cosy to unwind after lots of walking, shopping, eating. We did a river boat trip with costal voyager which we would highly recommend doing as well. A lot of other comments mention noise upstairs, however we did not think this was the case at all. The space was lovely for our trip away. Laura was very friendly and accommodating and was brilliant at messaging throughout the trip.

Friendly and helpful hosts, and the property made a great base to explore Great Yarmouth. Free parking outside was a bonus too.

We really enjoyed our stay being close to the seafront and town centre and enjoying bright afternoon sunshine as it flooded the lounge, kitchen and outside bench. The cliff top cafe has long been a favourite of ours and breakfast outside in bright sunshine looking out to sea was a real pleasure. The walk along the sea front to the Deben estuary past the golf course is always enjoyable and on this occasion we extended it to make it a 16.5k walk door to door! Thank you Judith and Mike for a very enjoyable stay, we’ll be back!

The apartment was exactly as described and in a great location. Close to the beach and bars / restaurants. My partner and I had a lovely few nights there and would definitely stay there again.

A lovely stay, dog friendly, beach is less than 30m away and a gorgeous flat. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay for the weekend. Dogs loved it and it was very peaceful with the beach front view. The road is right at the front so you can hear traffic but it doesn’t affect the stay. Kitchen had all the elements we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Bed were both very comfy. Beach is both sand and stones so was lovely for a dog walk and again 30m away. Lidl is again less than 50m so convenient! Ideal location for everything. We visited a local village and when we returned someone had parked in the designated space for the property. Jenny was easy to contact and it was sorted with no issues. Appreciated the prompt contact and reassurance. Would definitely recommend this flat. Thank you for a making our stay wonderful in Felixstowe.

The best Airbnb we have stayed in, lots of extra details. Immaculate and as described. We were there Sunday and Monday and not many nice eateries open but our fault for not checking. Easy access to many other lovely beaches.

Great place for a long weekend in Suffolk. Location was amazing, and plenty of space for our group of 7. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Very nice and peaceful area. House was lovely and clean. Parking was a little tight but we have a large 4x4 car. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The lounge area was cosy. There was nothing we could fault. Ian the host was very friendly and gave us clear instructions. We had a lovely 2 nights away. Highly recommended

Lee is a great and accommodating host who gave us recommendations, guidebook and flexibility with check in and check out times. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The house was beautiful, very clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is a jukebox that comes with the house which is great fun. A welcome pack with wine and snacks to welcome you on arrival and menus for local restaurants and takeout. I would highly recommend staying at the coach house. Donna and family.

We’re just back from a wonderful weekend at Sarah’s. The house itself is clean and cosy, good hot shower and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed Sarah’s treats she had made also. The location of the house is perfect. Southwold is a pretty compact place and everything was walkable from Sarah’s including to the beach. The beach hut was a great bonus and we enjoyed two sunny days there, having a glass of wine and watching the world go by - it was so lovely. I’d highly recommend Sarah’s- we hope to be back!! This is such a lovely house - we had a wonderful stay. The house is five minutes from the pier and beach, and ten minutes walking to some friendly pubs, bakeries and fish and chips. The house is very stylish and very comfortable. We all slept well and enjoyed evenings watching TV after long beach walks. The house has a lovely patio which can be accessed through amazing large patio doors, bringing the outside into the house. Lovely! Emma is an amazing host - she sent over some fab local recommendations and was extremely responsive throughout the booking process. There was also a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome us. We highly recommend Emma’s house, and we will book again.

We had a lovely weekend in a stunning house with very hospitable hosts. The welcome basket on arrival was an unexpected treat and very much appreciated. The house itself is spacious and modern with 3 big double bedrooms. The living area is very comfortable to relax in with a large screen TV, a range of games to play and a bookcase of great reads on a variety of subjects. The kitchen and dining area is again a pleasant and spacious area and very well done. On the edge of Winterton on Sea it is a great location and a short drive from Hemsby or Great Yarmouth. The local pub, the Fisherman’s Return, is friendly and welcoming with fantastic food. Overall a great stay and I’m sure we’ll be back again.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x

2nd stay at Elaine’s place. Once again spotless on arrival with generous welcome pack of treats and essentials in fridge and cupboard. Great communication with Elaine. Perfect location for us and our dog. Beach, Dunes, pub, Beach cafe and local shop. Highly Recommend

This was our first time using air bnb and it did not disappoint! Jane met us on arrival despite us arriving late evening. She ran through mandatory fire and safety instructions and showed us round the property. Everything was spotless and perfectly clean. Everything felt so new and fresh, from the bedding and towels to cutlery and glasses. We could walk to the seafront within a couple of minutes but were nicely tucked away from the main part itself. The keypads to enter the property is such a good idea as you don’t have to worry about losing any keys! We couldn’t fault this property or Jane at all. It was amazing and we will definitely be returning to Jays Bay when we wish to visit Great Yarmouth in the future.

Used as a base for working in the area. Exactly what we needed - clean, spacious and comfortable. This was our second stay and we'll be back again next time we're in the area.

A fantastic apartment right in the heart of town. We booked very last minute (on the day!) after deciding to make the most of a sunny day trip and was lucky to find availability for Kay’s place at the start of the Easter school holidays. Price was reasonable for a last minute booking in peak season. It was lovely and would make a great base for a longer stay. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and powerful hot shower. We didn’t use the kitchen but there was tea and coffee and useful condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup) in the cupboard, which would have been good for longer stays. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute gem of a spot if you want to be close to all the fun at Great Yarmouth, at a great and affordable price too! Lack of parking was easily managed (finding a local car park). Spacious place, even with 4 of us! Clean and tidy! Hosts are lovely and very helpful! Even booked an extra night! Will be back! Thank you! :)

We had a lovely stay at the flat. Exactly as in the description and gorgeous sea views. Extremely comfy beds and we had a great time in Southwold. Would recommend staying at Liz’s place.
