We stayed here right after the flooding. the lakeside had been under water for quite a while. The place was not as inviting as the pictures but I attribute much of that to the flooding. The dock was repaired, which was important to us as we have a boat. The two houses were clean and inviting and we enjoyed the quietness of the location and the no wake requirements on that part of the lake. The neighbors were very nice and helpful. We hope to stay here again next year.

I rented this gorgeous place for a nine-person bachelorette party. It looked exactly like the photos, right near the water. None of us honestly wanted to leave. Many people have asked for the link to this place from the photos. The place was super clean! The only thing is that for those of you who are scared of spiders, they are all over outside. This is not the place's fault; it is just nature. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

This place was awesome and had everything our large family needed. We had a great time here and Cara was an excellent host. Would return here for sure!

This is one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at! It had a beautiful view. Space for the whole family inside and out! They also had everything we could ever need! It was super close to all the places we wanted to go in the area. We will likely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous home! We came to enjoy our first ever sister’s trip with our 95 year old mother. What a treat and such a beautiful place to make memories! In comparison to any other airBnB or VRBO -any- of us have stayed at, Danielle’s home was by far the best! So very comfortable, clean, amazingly equipped, and plenty of space. Loved having the guest house too, because we had one night owl in our group that enjoys staying up late and therefore she could do as she pleased without bothering the rest of us. This didn’t in any way feel like a rental, it felt like home. A very welcoming and beautiful home to enjoy an amazing view, and comfortable, peaceful surroundings. And one more thing, Danielle was so responsive to any communication, and she even offered to let us check out later! We’re already talking about coming back again next year... Thank you Danielle, for blessing us with such a wonderful home to create these memories!

We absolutely loved our stay! Outside dock didn’t look like pics was a little bummed because that was one reason we chose that Airbnb. The kitchen was the best part of the trip. It’s is a place to gather as a family and create memories and that’s what we went there for. Cara the host was great, responsive in a timely matter and offered other accommodations when we had asked to extend our stay. We will always use Cara when we’re out there. Thank you for our wonderful family memories!

Our stay was incredible! Lexi is a total rockstar and made sure we had anything and everything we could need…even starter firewood! The beds and couch were super comfy. The water pressure in the shower was awesome and there were plenty of towels, which was amazing. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

It was our first time visiting the Okoboji area. We loved our stay. We had 3 families in our group. The kids loved having the basement all to themselves. It was so nice having the dock to pull the boat up to each day, and for the kids to fish off of as well. The hosts were very friendly & offered many suggestions for places to visit/eat. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary equipment needed for cooking, although we spent most of our day on the water and ate at various places in the area. Fun to boat right up to eat your meals from the water. That was an experience the kids loved! We were nervous with the recent floods that the water conditions wouldn't allow for boating/swimming activities. We did find it nice that given the 5mph limit on the water the kids could swim safely from the dock as well as out in the water with minimal waves. It was like we had the lake to ourselves! The visit during the week probably helped with that too?!? Definitely recommend!

Jana was a great host - very responsive and helpful. The house felt very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The beach is not really walkable from the house (at least not with all the lake gear), but Jana generously allowed us to use her golf cart - which was so great! We would definitely stay here again with our family.

This place was amazing! We had plenty of space and everything was so clean. The beds were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The garage and games were so fun to have and kept us all very entertained. We will definitely stay here again. The host was super helpful and great at responding. This place is very clean and tidy. It's so easy to unpack and load up with access to the house through the garage. This was a great place to stay!!

I choose this cabin on the lake, looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view. We celebrated my parents 56 wedding anniversary. It was a perfect getaway for family time.

Kathi's place is a welcome retreat. It's quite and serene within 1 mile of town. She really has gone out of her way to make the stay a positive one. I'm sure Josie and I will stay again. Kathi responds quickly to questions and the house is an eclectic mixture of tradition and modern. An inviting home. Highly recommend staying if in the area.

Josh's place is a great home to stay in. It's a very clean house in a very quiet neighborhood with all the amenities that is needed for a week stay in Okoboji. The beds were very comfortable with clean bathrooms and showers. The kitchen had everything that is needed to prepare meals. The location couldn't be better you are just minutes away from the heart of Okoboji in a very nice neighborhood. The communication was great with Josh, the check out procedure was well listed. It's definitely a home that I would stay at again.

We had a party of 11 people and the property was perfect for many lounging areas for our group. We especially enjoyed both the indoor and outside dining options and fully stocked supplies in kitchen was helpful. The location was great! We were able to walk all around Arnold's Park without every having to take our car anywhere -- to restaurants, bars, entertainment. we loved the decor and combo of the old and new. Wonderful stay - thank you!

The perfect place to stay at the lakes! The location is beautiful, nice quiet setting with easy access to all local spots. The cabin is cozy and great decor, kitchen has everything you need to cook and grill out. Our favorite was watching the sunrise on the huge deck overlooking East Lake, which is only steps across the street. Also great for deer spotting out the huge bedroom picture window! Jesse was a great host, was easy to access for questions, and his cabin was just the relaxing and picturesque spot we were looking for! Great place for a family or small group, we can't wait to come back next fall!
