Lovely country home with beautiful lawn and gardens, not to mention the awesome swimming pool! The interior was clean and modern and was nicely stocked with essentials. 5 bedrooms, 2 bath upstairs and another room downstairs with hide-a-bed and full bath. This property will not disappoint for family fun & get-togethers. I will say to be cautious if a guest is a toddler, elderly or frail, there's many little steps from room to room and outside on the deck. Coleen, the host, was welcoming and easy to message which made it feel like our home away from home. We sure would love to visit again!

Lovely private cabin. Expansive and breathtaking. Really something special. Comfy and great set up for entertaining. We played board games in the living room with huge vaulted ceilings. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. We made baked ziti in the fully equipped kitchen. We hiked around the property and spotted several types of wildlife. Really a gem, and a perfect weekend getaway. Easy place to get in and out in a very peaceful, nice neighborhood up on Spokane's South Hill. Everything went well with this visit. The heated floors were fun, and nicely comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, GREAT bed and pillows. I slept very well. The old style tub with shower if... different. Definitely old school, and if you want that old charm, this tub was great. If you are tall and prefer your nice shower, this wasn't ideal - but I knew what I'd signed up for! One more big plus - the wifi. I always appreciate a great connection and high speed, and this wifi delivered!

We stayed w/ Ben & his family on the last night of a 10-day trip. It was a little out of the way, but it was definitely worth it. The great: communication, his family (his kids are awesome little humans, & his wife is super sweet), views, wildlife/birdsong, peaceful morning, their very loving dogs, the option to use their hot tub (it was exceptionally warm, so...didn't happen. But it could have!), décor/lodging, baby GOATS! (Okay, I really like animals.) If you're really into your fitness routine, staying here would NOT throw you off your routine. The not so great: Really, there isn't anything I can complain about. The bed *was* a bit firm for me, but I knew that was a likelihood going into it. My husband loved it. He slept in a little. I was up super early and explored their grounds. Tip: Get up early for the wildlife/birdsong. It was definitely worth it.

We loved this little hidden gem on Newman Lake! It is extremely peaceful. We ended up needing to book last minute and we are so happy we stumbled across this place. The views are spectacular and the house has the perfect amount of amenities (i.e. hot tub, water access). We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the near future. Summer would be ideal with the water access. Thanks again!

An L-shaped studio apt (bathroom has a door) as a standalone building on a small farm. Very quaint. Super comfortable bed. Peaceful location. Host extremely kind. I spoke with her one morning while she was feeding the horses and she was more than willing to let me hang out with them for a bit and could do so whenever, as long as I remembered to close the barn door. I got the impression this host will leave you alone if you want that but is also perfectly happy to chat if you engage. Honestly, isn't that the perfect type? Communication was excellent before, during, and at the end of our stay. There was breakfast in the fridge when we arrived (fresh eggs, crepes, and huckleberry syrup, plus yogurt) and other snacks in addition to coffee, etc. The accomodations themselves are quite comfortable. This place is perfect for a short stay, but if I were on a weeklong business/pleasure trip, I'd happily stay as well. The price takes it from a bargain to an absolulte steal.

The stay is as advertised. The host and family are friendly people and make you feel welcome. The house is beautiful and the facilities were clean and orderly. I appreciated the notes around the house on where to find things and how to easily checkout. They pull off the urban farm and cozy cottage vibe. This would be a place id stay again.

Lovely and clever space. Loved the quilting theme. The beds (6 twins beds) were not the most comfortable I’ve slept in, but the rooms were delightful. Beautiful place and lovely surroundings. The trees were turning - lovely fall setting.

Hard to find driving at night (since it’s so dark) but once you find it once, it’s easy to find!! Great place, beautiful surroundings, saw some rams, great host communication!

This is a place totally in line with expectations from the ad, the extra bonus is the nice and helpful people living here! We were offered both cofee in the morning and good advice for the trip, just to mention something. Thanks a lot for a nice stay!

Great, spacious house and the animals were such a cool experience for the kids! The little ones enjoyed feeding the sheep with hay (suggestion by the host) and watching donkeys, goats and chickens. A nice bottle of wine and cookies were waiting for us upon arrival. The dining table was spacious and accommodated our large family (5 adults, 4 kids). We loved the hot tub on colder evenings too. The kitchen was super well equipped with everything you might need in a home away from home. One thing worth noting is that one of 5 bedrooms (sofa sleeper one) is actually inside another bedroom without a door in between. this worked out great for us as we had small kids but might not work for other parties. The house is a short 5min walk away from town's 2 restaurants, but do stock up with groceries etc. as the closest full grocery store is 15-20min away and Rockford only has a convenience store at the gas station. Overall, really enjoyed this place! thanks for hosting us!!
