We had a reunion with some friends and this location had everything we needed. We got really lucky with a warm February weekend and got to take advantage of the outdoor amenities more than expected. We comfortably fit 8 people and had plenty of room. The kitchen was also very well stocked, something I don’t usually see at rental houses. 5 out of 5 - would highly recommend.

This house has great outdoor amenities and a homey indoor feel! Great deck, dock fire pit area, as well as a patio. Check in process was smooth. House is on gravel road, if you aren’t sure if you’re in the right place, keep driving and follow the host’s instructions, and you’ll find it! We did experience issues with the water pressure which meant we couldn’t have two showers going at one time - host attributed this to water filtration system needing cleaned out, offered to tell us how to turn it off. We opted to leave the system on and stagger showers due to mineral load in the water. Host’s communication was very responsive when we had questions before and during the trip.

Jennifer’s listing was a fantastic retreat for our weekend at Lake Anna! Not only was the place large, and close to water, it had many things to do (ping pong, galaga machine, etc.) which enhanced our stay. I couldn’t recommend this property more!

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

Nice Cabin. Super close to a food lion which was great for essentials. Host was very helpful with her direct instructions on how and where to enter the cabin and how to get there via alternative directions needed instead of the maps route. The game room downstairs was cool with the pool table as well.

Thia's place is wonderful, the view of the lake is very relaxing at night and in the morning. Was most impressed with Thia as a host. She was very welcoming, it felt as if she was a friend more than just a host.

We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation.
