We stayed at Forestville for 3 nights as part of a bigger trip through Sri Lanka. We chose this place because we wanted something special for my friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint !!!!!! Fahim looked after us so well, super friendly & helpful, and always with a smile. The chef was really talented & amenable to any request we had, we enjoyed every meal he cooked and it was such a treat to have delicious home cooked Sri Lankan meals. They also organised safari for us at a very fair price & our guide was just amazing, so knowledgeable & made the experience so special. We were so so sad to leave, if you are looking for a bit of luxury at a bargain price & great location & wonderful hosts this is the perfect spot

this place was in very quiet area but still close to all the things you want - shops, restaurants or the beach. hospitality on the next level, big knowledge and very helpful personel. really recommend!

everything is perfect ! the location is ideal for people who are planning to use a bike! everything you need is nearby. But it is also a VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL PLACE. great view from the balcony where you can watch the monkeys jump on the trees next to you) the house is really great. everything you need is there. many places . light. has 2 great bedrooms. This might be a great option for those who need a 2 bedroom as both bedrooms are really great and they each have air conditioning. The kitchen has everything you need. the living room is a great place where we make a work area for us. there is of course a problem with the Internet. But this is not the owner's problem, alas, this is a problem for the entire island as a whole. Shower have hot water. there is a washing machine. Overall, I highly recommend. We live there for almost 2 months. totally happy with this place! Recommend for everybody.

Really enjoyed our stay at Indie! It’s a beautiful home, very clean and the beach is easily accessible from the property! Nirman, the manager was very kind and helpful and we got prompt responses from the host which made our stay a pleasure. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

We ended our trip to Sri Lanka at 9 Provinces, and it really couldn’t have been more perfect. The Gatehouse villa, pool, gardens and the main home up the mossy grand staircase are like walking in to a feature in a design magazine — but not in a look don't touch way. Every detail and feature exquisitely done, luxuriously comfortable but oh so welcoming. We knew we'd landed somewhere special. Huge bed with beautiful linens, cool concrete floors, natural textures (and your own laundry!). The gated entry gives you this quite smug sense of 'retreat', and the double outdoor shower and bath added a bit of theatre and giggles — pure indulgence and privacy from the chaos of the South Coast (and if that's not enough, Sameer the masseuse can be booked to visit!) But what really made the gatehouse unforgettable were Mike and Wally. Their genuine care and hospitality is pretty rare — warm, generous, fun and fabulous. Local tips and wild stories to boot... this place is an absolute treat

A nice, clean place in a pleasant neighborhood of Colombo. There are a few good restaurants close by and landmarks/attractions within walking distance. Surekha is a very nice and friendly host, always ready to answer questions.

We enjoyed a magical stay at Channa's place. It was such a pleasure to talk with him about his work, the wildlife in his garden and much else. We had a beautiful meal cooked by his wife and Channa gave us lots of good recommendations on things to see locally. As previous reviews have indicated, this is a special place with Channa's art, decoration, lots of room to spread out and the wonderful pets. We hope to return!

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in einem Bungalow und es war der Hammer! Es war so groß und super gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Bad war riesig, alles war sauber! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist super grün und schön und der Pool ist auch wirklich toll angelegt. Einen kostenlosen Tuktukservice von 10-19 Uhr stand uns jeden Tag zur Verfügung. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück kostet 2200 Rupies und ist ein ausreichendes Buffet. Es wird sowohl europäisches als auch lokales Frühstück angeboten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Paul's place was perfect. Very quiet and serene. We were two families with four kids in tow and this space was perfect for them to explore. The pool looked inviting but we never managed to get in! Wouldn't hesitate booking this place again.
