The most enjoyable stay you could hope for in Colombo. Great for a digital nomad set up or as a base to explore the city. Dileepa is a legend and after welcoming you will help you with anything you might need during your stay. Particular highlights are the gym/pool/clubhouse area, the mall (2 min walk away), the friendly neighbours and the nearby restaurants (5 min tuk to culture colombo for possibly the best Sri Lankan food in the city). Would recommend a long stay to really sink into life in Colombo

We stayed at the Wara for 3 nights and we definitely wished we could have stayed for more. The house is clean and spacious, beautiful and modern and the beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The place has everything you need for a comfortable and practical stay with air con on both rooms, as well as ceiling fans, a tv in the living room, a shower with doors to prevent water from spilling over into the rest of the bathroom, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The house's location is great, near the main road, yet far enough to make it very quiet, more so because it's almost at the end of a dead end road, which makes it very private as well. The place also has a nice balcony facing a lush garden. Only a short walk away is a lovely long stretch of beach which is perfect for long walks. Overall our stay at the Wara was well worth it, and as other guests have said it's made all the better by Nipuni's kindness and warmth and her helpful suggestions.

The apartment was clean private and very peaceful. I felt right at home. The location is close to everything in Colombo. Danukh was extremely helpful, always responsive and friendly. Perfect host. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay here when I am back in Colombo.

a great comfortable space with an amazing host. the room and bathroom were very clean and the outside space was lovely and relaxing. shops restaurants and the beach are only a short walk away. the host was very kind an made us juice and snacks if we wanted. but there was also a small kitchen we could use to make our own food. we had a very lovely stay.

This is such a beautiful place, that really does look like the photos. Its spacious, spotless and homely set in a beautiful garden, by the side of a lotus pond. I stayed here for a month as a solo female traveller, and I felt very safe and although it's a few kilometers outside of Tangalle, it's easily accessible by tuk tuk. The wifi is fast, and as a digital nomad this was essential for me and there's also a generator back up for any powecuts which does still occasionally happen in SL. Dulaj and Naiomi are so lovely, incredibly helpful and happy to help with anything you need, and even though the airbnb is in their garden it still felt private. They also do delicious food and have a menu! I'll stay here again if i come to the region.

Der Aufenthalt im Yellow House war überragend. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mitten im Grünen. Und schon 300m runter befindet sich der Strand und die Hauptstraße von wo aus man sämtliche touristischen Ziele erreicht. Aber auch vor Ort gibt es schon reichlich zu entdecken. Z.B. Kajaktouren oder der Fischmarkt und die Anlegestelle der Fischer. Mein persönlicher Lieblingsort war die Terrasse, wo man wunderbar die Seele baumeln lassen und die Vielfalt an exotischen Tieren und Pflanzen im Garten genießen kann. Tipp: pflückt Euch dazu eine frische Sternfrucht vom Baum :) Apropos Essen. Das solltet Ihr auf jeden Fall um die Ecke bei Eurem Host und seiner Familie auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen. Besser bekommt Ihr es nicht. Gerne werden dabei Eure Wünsche berücksichtigt. Und auch sonst wird alles gemacht, um Euren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Einfach fragen. Ich wurde aus Colombo abgeholt und habe jede Menge gezeigt bekommen. Gerne wieder :)

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

The apartment itself was well-equipped with all the basic kitchen essentials, making it easy to prepare meals. It was also spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Security in the building was excellent, and the staff were professional and helpful. The location is great for those seeking peace and quiet, while still having convenient access to amenities. Havelock Mall is nearby, where you can find almost anything you need. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay!
