My aunt and I stayed at Country Hill Villa for 3 nights and it was an ABSOLUTE pleasure. The pictures don't do justice to how gorgeous and pristine the mansion actually is. They have a beautiful premises with apple orchards all around and the house itself, is very very clean and pretty. The host, Rafiq, is very friendly and warm. He was extremely helpful to us and even drove my aunt at 830pm in the night to arrange a bday cake for me by 12am! He gave us amazing local recommendations and guided our driver on how to reach them. Rafiq and his friend Gulam also made extremely tasty traditional Kashmiri vegetarian food for us on two nights. The dinner was made with love and we relished every bite of it! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful surroundings. You can see the gorgeous mountains right from your window. :)

A beautiful property set amidst apple trees. The house is the same as shown in the pictures shared by the host, Shahnawaz ji, with ample garden area to play in. We found the house and the host to be warm and inviting. Shahnawaz ji was very helpful and guided us through our planning and traveling phase of this holiday. He is a gem of a person and quite helpful. Also helped us get in touch with someone local who helped in guiding us perfectly for the entire 10 days trip to the valley. This property is located around half an hour away from Srinagar city and they have only a couple of eateries around but not pure veg which is found only in main city. The kitchen , at the property,is stocked with basic cooking utensils and Shahnawaz ji has kept few spices and other essentials to help the guests in case they wish to cook their own meals. There is a RO unit fitted in the kitchen to get clean drinking water too.

This homestay provided a truly comfortable and welcoming experience—it felt just like home. The location is also excellent, offering a pleasant and convenient environment. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Basharat’s place. The flat (2 BHK) was exactly as described—clean, cozy, equipped with everything. Rooms were stocked with heaters and bed were comfortable with electrical blankets. We didn't feel cold in room. Two bathrooms equipped with water heaters. Kitchen didn't had induction/gas stove, but we didn't needed. There was an electric kettle. Bablu (helper) was polite, always there to make snacks/tea anytime. We had breakfast only everyday which was good. Mr Basharat was an outstanding host. He was friendly, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best experience and memories in Kashmir, also ensured we feel like home there. He and his wife recommend kashmiri foods and shops which we tasted and enjoyed. Location was peaceful. 10 km from airport, 1 km to some restaurants and small shop and park nearby. I'd recommend staying at this place and would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. We stayed at Captain Hameed's place for 5 days and it was a delightful experience. He made us feel at home with the delicious food and his great hospitality. We booked the vehicle for sightseeing through him as well. He's very responsive and the staff at the resort was always available to address our needs. Special mention to Aijaz. Overall had a great time and a memorable trip.

Ahmer’s place was just perfect. We were 5 in our group and had a 3 bedroom apartment - all with air-conditioning and heating and attached bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the apartment very warm and cozy. On check in, the young boys who are caretakers welcomed us and helped with the luggage. Our apartment was serviced daily with change of towels and bath mats. We were never left wanting. Mushtaq the manager assisted with taxi bookings and helpful information. Ahmer’s wife Mahek popped by on our last evening and we had a great time chatting. They really are such lovely people and made us right at home. I would recommend this apartment as your choice for a visit to Kashmir. You can’t go wrong!

If you are looking for a place which is away from the throngs of tourists then Hillscape Inn is the prefect place to stay at. It is in a quiet street with mountains at the backdrop and we absolutely liked the peace and quiet. Nasir and his Father were great hosts and went out of the way to ensure we very comfortable. They were extremely accommodating with even the check in time for us as we arrived 2 hours earlier. And even on the day we checked-out , we had our flight late at night and they obliged for us to use a room to freshen up. We felt at home at Hillscape Inn. And the highlight of our stay was definitely the kindness and warmth they extended to us. We were travelling on a bike in Kashmir and had not come prepared for the rain. Nasir's father gave us jackets to wear without us even asking !! Definitely recommend staying here if peace and quiet and offbeat travel is your way of travelling.

Lovely stay with a perfect location near Dal Lake, Nishat Garden, and Pari Mahal. The host was exceptionally responsive and attentive to our needs, even arranging cab services for sightseeing. Their politeness and care made the experience truly special. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the bonfire on request added a cozy touch. The electric blankets were a lifesaver in the winter, and the well-behaved caretaker was always available to assist. Highly recommend for a comfortable and memorable stay!
