The place is cozy and well-maintained, making it a great option for a stay with friends or family. Though the food options were limited, everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was respectful and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with heaters, hot water, and electric bed warmers, which made the stay comfortable. However, there were frequent power cuts that occasionally affected access to hot water. Also, keep in mind that the property is located about 30 minutes outside of Srinagar, not within the city itself.

A beautiful property set amidst apple trees. The house is the same as shown in the pictures shared by the host, Shahnawaz ji, with ample garden area to play in. We found the house and the host to be warm and inviting. Shahnawaz ji was very helpful and guided us through our planning and traveling phase of this holiday. He is a gem of a person and quite helpful. Also helped us get in touch with someone local who helped in guiding us perfectly for the entire 10 days trip to the valley. This property is located around half an hour away from Srinagar city and they have only a couple of eateries around but not pure veg which is found only in main city. The kitchen , at the property,is stocked with basic cooking utensils and Shahnawaz ji has kept few spices and other essentials to help the guests in case they wish to cook their own meals. There is a RO unit fitted in the kitchen to get clean drinking water too.

It is a beautiful place located in a peaceful area. The property has beautiful trees and many birds which add to the Beauty of the place. The host is amazing and was very responsive to all our queries. She provided us with Apple saffron jam which is worth trying 🙃

2BHK Fully Furnished Private flat@ 4km -Dal Lake

We had a wonderful experience staying at Basharat’s place. The flat (2 BHK) was exactly as described—clean, cozy, equipped with everything. Rooms were stocked with heaters and bed were comfortable with electrical blankets. We didn't feel cold in room. Two bathrooms equipped with water heaters. Kitchen didn't had induction/gas stove, but we didn't needed. There was an electric kettle. Bablu (helper) was polite, always there to make snacks/tea anytime. We had breakfast only everyday which was good. Mr Basharat was an outstanding host. He was friendly, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best experience and memories in Kashmir, also ensured we feel like home there. He and his wife recommend kashmiri foods and shops which we tasted and enjoyed. Location was peaceful. 10 km from airport, 1 km to some restaurants and small shop and park nearby. I'd recommend staying at this place and would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. Thank you for our enjoyable stay!

The sunvilla is a great property to stay if you are in a group of around 10 members, 4 bedrooms with dining and hamam area with wonderful garden outside is a lovely experience, just 1 thing is missing there that is paid kitchen which i felt little disappointing as every BNB includes it but they clearly mentioned about that so not their mistake. Overall everything was great there and Mr. Faisal is friendly supportive man taking care of the guests very well.

Walisons Homestay Spirea 3 BHK with Balcony

Ahmer’s place was just perfect. We were 5 in our group and had a 3 bedroom apartment - all with air-conditioning and heating and attached bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the apartment very warm and cozy. On check in, the young boys who are caretakers welcomed us and helped with the luggage. Our apartment was serviced daily with change of towels and bath mats. We were never left wanting. Mushtaq the manager assisted with taxi bookings and helpful information. Ahmer’s wife Mahek popped by on our last evening and we had a great time chatting. They really are such lovely people and made us right at home. I would recommend this apartment as your choice for a visit to Kashmir. You can’t go wrong!

This bnb is so spacious. you get the entire 2 bhk to yourself and it is huge. rooms are clean, spacious, hot water was available, there are places to eat nearby at walking distance, loved my stay here !!!

Prithvi's place is centrally located in Srinagar, giving easy walking access to Jhelum Zero Point bridge. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are squeaky clean. Every morning we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Zabarwan mountains from all the balconies! Prithvi is a super host who is very responsive. He attended to all our needs quickly. He even offered to arrange a pick up of our dinner the first day as we were reaching late and most of the shops were closed due to Eid. Which host does that. His mother Ritu ma'am, was welcoming and made hot kehwa for us. The day we were leaving she and Prithvi's father specially came to meet us for taking feedback. We experienced Kashmiri hospitality first hand all thanks to their warm and welcoming nature! We will surely vist them again. My advice to all my fellow air bnb members, pls book Prithvi's place without thinking twice when visiting Srinagar. It will make your stay memorable :)

I had a wonderful stay at this Home stay! The house was absolutely spotless and well-maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ensuring that everything was going smoothly. The food provided was delicious, and I couldn't get enough of it! The place was amazing we felt right at home, it has all the necessary amenities and the garden is a big addition. Few things they can improve is on the lights outside which they turnoff after 8/9 it should be well lit. And drinking water if an RO can be arranged thats great

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Tahir was a great host—responsive and welcoming. Amir and the other caretaker were incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted with our bags and even cooked delicious meals, which made the experience extra special. The house is brand new with beautiful decor, modern furnishings, and a warm, inviting vibe. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and bathrooms clean and well-maintained. A big plus in cold Kashmir weather: each room had its own heater, which kept us warm and cozy throughout. The WiFi was strong, and the peaceful environment made it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommend this stay—thanks again to Tahir, Amir, and the team for a memorable experience!

Absolutely loved this place — stylish and thoughtfully designed. Every detail was on point, from the decor to the layout. The house has been recently renovated. It felt both luxurious and comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Super clean, easy check-in, and the vibe was just perfect. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing. Would 100% stay here again next time.

Five Bedrooms | Riverside B&B

We were a group of total 28 people. We all wanted to stay together in a single hotel during the Kashmir trip, but it was very difficult to accommodate so many people in a single hotel within our budget. Then we got a B&B river side home stay, which was better than our expectations. Just like a home. Such big rooms, well furnished, we may not get these even in any 5 star hotel. Our host Surya madam was very cooperative. She did not let us feel the need of anything. Those who are planning a Kashmir trip in a group should definitely try B&B River Side once. Thank you Suriya madam, thank you B&B.

Staying here was such a heartwarming experience. Rahil’s family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They never made us feel like paying guests, but rather like part of the family. From the moment we arrived, their kindness and hospitality stood out. It’s rare to find such genuine people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. I recently had a wonderful stay at Saleha ji's property in Srinagar, and it was truly a delightful experience. Saleha ji is a gracious and kind host who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her caring nature and warm hospitality were heartwarming. A special mention goes to Sudhir, the caretaker, who was always just a call away. He solved all our queries with patience and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Hutment Mountain View

Prof. Manan was an excellent host and went out of his way to help us. We stayed with my parents for 4 days on the property. The ammonites were as mentioned on the website. A caretaker, Mr. Firdous, was always available over a call. It was a home away from home. We could interact with Manan's mother and son, a toddler who treats us as a family. He was there to see us off at 4.00 am when we vacated and was leaving for the airport. We would love to come back and stay at this property again.
