Very nice place. Well maintained and clean. We had no issues and the host was very responsive. We were happy to have the details hours before check in time. You can see that a lot of thought goes into preparing for guests as the home had almost everything that could be needed during the stay (from kitchen/bathroom accessories to towels/lines to cleaning agents to personal care items like body wash, shampoo, tissue etc.) in more than sufficient quantities. It was a pleasure staying at this home and we would do it again.

excellent service with a great host

The host was great, and they offered everything from catering to a butler who, might I add, cleaned the space while we were away, to our surprise, folded items left on my bed. The location is also close enough to the town of Port Antonio for a quick stroll or drive to grab anything you may need or hang out at one of the many eateries. I highly recommend this location and wouldn’t hesitate to book it in the future.

I love the fact that no one else had the code to our room.

This is our second time at Carleva Bay. We love the privacy of the location, the ability to walk the quiet beach and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. We felt right at home the moment we stepped back on to the property. Mangoes were just starting to ripen and wow it was so amazing to be able to pick them fresh from the tree. Miss J is the cherry on top! She’s so attentive, friendly and a really good cook! We can’t wait to go back to Carleva Bay!

We intend to book this place again because it was perfect. We parked the car and walked to everywhere in the town. This is the perfect location if u want to explore port Antonio. The check in was easy… same with the check out. I will definitely be back

Devon’ place is a wonderful experience if you want a true Jamaican vibe this is the spot! We enjoyed the close proximity to Port Antonio and just a short drive to the local beaches. We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Devon but his mother and brother live next door and are very friendly and always available if you have a question. We will definitely book again when we visit the area.

Ms Carline is a gem she treated us like family from day one. Very friendly and accommodating, anything we needed she was there to assist without any hesitation at all. The home is beautiful my family enjoyed every minute of it and the food was excellent. I will recommend this home to anyone and we will definitely love to return. If you are considering this place look no further this is the #1 option when staying in Kingston !

Our stay at the River House was magical, peaceful and enjoyable. The roaring sounds of the river outside, lulled us to sleep every night. The decor of the home was impressive and comfortable. Any issues we had was readily addressed to our satisfaction. The host was always available and responsive. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a private oasis to escape to. Our favorite restaurants to dine was Strawberry Hill Restaurant and EITS Cafe. They both had excellent food and breathtaking views of the blue mountain area.

It was so good to come back and the second time around is just as memorable and special Donovan Denise and Chef Mark are true gems The gardens are in blooming and delightful we got fresh herbs to add to our meals , constant attention from the staff . This is my second stay at this house, it is clean and peaceful. Michael is very responsive to messages and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay

I loved staying at Grace’s place! Everything was amazing from the private and safe location to the views to the interior of the space. Loved being so close to the ocean, very relaxing. Grace is a wonderful hostess, she made me feel at home, is friendly and a great communicator. Will definately return if in this are again, big recommendation!

My stay here was perfect. It’s in a great location and the views are amazing as it overlooks the ocean. The house was spacious and clean, including the pool. It has everything you can ask for. It is great for families who want to experience the old school vibe of Jamaica. The host, Ryan was also great and easy to communicate with. I will definitely return again!

Wir haben vier Nächte in Steves Unterkunft verbracht. Das Haus und der Garten sind in echt noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir waren hin&weg. Es war alles tadellos und das ganze Team war einfach wundervoll, einzigartig und immer erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Beautiful view and great host. The caretakers were great and very easy to communicate with. Dennis and Shaunna were friendly, took great care of us, and although around to do what was needed for our stay it felt very private still. The pictures and description do not do the house justice. It is even better in person. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and was well equipped. Will most definitely stay again if Fred will have us.

This was the second time my group stayed at Bruce’s place. First time was four years ago and this last time was even better! Bruce and Ofiji are always super responsive and helpful. We got a chef for our arrival night and one other night while we were there. The chef was super kind and friendly and the food was amazing! We learned from our first stay to get all groceries and supplies in Montego Bay before heading to the house. This was helpful this time around as we didn’t want to go anywhere once we got to the house. We brought water shoes this time for the water along with snorkeling gear which made for an amazing ocean adventure. Water shoes are a must for this beach to get into deeper water. This place is such a fun adventure but also very relaxing. It’s the perfect stop for us and we will be back a third time for sure. Thank you for every Bruce and Ofiji. This was my 7th time in Jamaica and not sure if I’ll ever stay anywhere else!

We were a group of 8 ( 4 rooms ). The only problem was that most of us never had hot water. That was not a problem for me at all and they even changed 1 of the rooms but still the same. Lovely place with a spectacular view at the restaurant and swimming pool terrace area. Quiet and clean.
