Spent a day in Ocho Rios with my family of 6 visiting Dunn’s River falls, and needed a place to stay overnight as we had a flight to catch the next day in Mobay. I booked at a different air bnb in a different gated community that went really bad, as we entered that house it was taken over by ants that my 2 young sons freaked out about and refused to stay there. So I was left without a suitable accommodation at almost 6 pm at night when I searched and came across this listing hosted by Janet and luckily it was available. I booked and it was ready for me within 20 minutes. Janet was a great host, the place was modern, very big screen TVs in all the rooms, locks and keys for each rooms in case travelling with a group, garbage bins everywhere, good size private backyard for kiddies to play or private couple time, AC kicks in instantly with cold air, separate beach towels provided, access to laundry to wash and dry my beach stuff, comfy bed and linens, and as my kids said…. NO ants/bugs!!!

Being my first time at an air bnb , I must say I enjoyed every moment , the host was very responsive and the location remarkable , would definitely recommend.

She was always responsive. Very friendly . And was ready to help us when we needed a place to go after a bad experience somewhere else. The place was beautiful and so quiet. The house was so clean and beautiful and the view amazing. Will be coming back. Thats for sure.

Can’t say enough about this amazing property! Beds and furniture were very comfortable, lots of towels and linens, and great utensils, pots and pans for cooking. Close enough to drive to both Ocho Rios and Montego Bay for activities like Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove or The Rose Hall Great House, Beaches and more!

We had a great stay in this accommodation. It’s a two minutes walk to a fantastic beach and the large pool. The accommodation offers a great kitchen and all appliances you would need. It is a quiet area. We really enjoyed it. Communication with the host was very easy and efficient

Home away from home!!! This was my second stay at Tranquility Love Bay and what can I say, the atmosphere was so peaceful, very clean and very relaxing. I was on business this time around and was able to have access to a work station and good WiFi connection. Host is very responsive, professional and friendly. This is without a doubt my place of choice to stay whenever I am in Jamaica. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

This is our second consecutive 3 month visit to this property. David is an amazing host! The location is unbeatable. A very short walk to Ocho Rios Bay Beach. Everything that you need is within walking distance. This includes grocery stores, restaurants, ATM's, etc. Margaritaville is directly across the street in a complex that has a number of restaurants, gift shops, tour operators, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property for another long term stay! We had such a lovely stay! I could sit on the balcony for hours blissfully watching the ocean waves. While directly off the main thoroughfare, we barely heard much noise. Very quiet within the apartment complex with very few people around. We enjoyed the private beach on the property but didn’t swim. Just a heads up that it’s very rustic so wear thick soled shoes. But a pleasant place to sit and ponder life or meditation. For swimming, we enjoyed Dosha Beach (locals call it coconut grove beach), a short drive from the apartment. The Jamaican owners charge ~$2 US dollars for adults and less for children. Bring your own chairs! And grab a patty from the store near the top of the road down to the beach. There’s a bar at the bottom of the road. For food within walking distance of the apartment, we enjoyed Delly’s! Nice folks and good prices.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our time here. The apartment is on the ground floor with gorgeous views of the ocean, the place was peaceful, clean and close to several restaurants, beaches and activities. I would highly recommend to others.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf das Meer war einfach unbezahlbar! Die Wohnung selbst war sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, und man hat sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Preis war absolut gerechtfertigt und wir fanden das Angebot mehr als fair. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und würden sie auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Jamaika sind. Vielen Dank, Curreine, für die tolle Zeit!

Sharon has a great Airbnb villa in St Ann that sits beachfront inside an amenity filled community that looks and feels like it’s from a top travel magazine. She is very friendly and responsive making sure that her guests have a great overall experience. Michelle who works on Sharon’s team served as the house manager and chef during our stay and was fantastic at making us feel right at home and her home cooked meals were some of the best. Would highly recommend for any group or family looking to have a great tropical vacation in beautiful Jamaica!!

Chillin is quaint and quiet with the most amazing beach, 2 mins walk from the property. Symone is a 5 star host and is exceptional. The breeze on the balcony is also very soothing and the design and colour scheme delightful. Lester, the security guard is very polite and helpful. Overall a 5 star stay. Thanks Chillin for renewing the body of an exhausted female professional. Symone, you are the gold standard of hosting.

We had the most lovely stay at the apartment! The view was spectacular and Amar was a super responsive and helpful host - sorting us with local guides and transport alongside reccos for restaurants. Can’t fault it and would go here for any Ocho Rio trip!

This was my second stay, first review! Absolutely worth every penny. Great location, walkable to many places, easy access to taxi, security is friendly and always responsive. The home is super super clean, really modern and well thought out decor. I had a two year old in the space and it accommodated us well! We had tooth brush and toothpaste! Really did not need for much there! Fresh snacks on arrival. Very comfortable beds! Great ac and fan, the water gets super hot so be careful, turn and adjust it slowly. Cable television downstairs and WiFi was good, very minor and short interruption the entire stay. I know it’s a relaxing space but would pay extra for a tv upstairs, wanted to Netflix and chill as a couple and not with other guest. It was a short stay and felt like home immediately. Terran is class, the way he speaks and communicates and how he presents his space. Restaurants and fun sights are minutes away with a driver. The back patio is enclosed and relaxing to sit out back.

We very much enjoyed our stay , very clean and cozy home with a beautiful set up and view all the staff on site and other visitors were super nice and friendly . We will definitely come back in the future and would recommend this home and location to anyone looking for a great local place .

This place was absolutely beautiful! From the countertops, to the gourmet stove, to the comfy couches and beds. Beautiful tile in the showers! Lovely view of the Caribbean from the back yard! 1st class all the way!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. We are from the UK so it was nice to watch BBC news (there are many other channels) on the living room TV. There is direct and free access to the lovely beach in front of the resort. We had some questions and Stafford responded immediately and helpfully. Stafford fully deserves his 5 star rating.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at Colin’s place! He was incredibly responsive and proactive in communication, making sure we had everything we needed. He provided contact details for a great driver, which was really helpful. The apartment is in a lovely complex with a pool and a grill by the bar that serves great local food – highly recommend the steamed fish in particular! Would definitely stay again.

What can I say? Truly a hidden gem. This was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed on The Yard. The ocean was beautiful, the river refreshing, and the reefs a bonus. Caution for snorkelers, the ocean is quite shallow (3-5 feet at most) so if you plan to visit the reefs, be very careful to not disturb the environment. The caretaker Pablo was an utter DELIGHT! He was informative about plants, trees, or anything else you wanted to know about the area. He also guided us to a place on the property to enter the river so we could float down into the ocean. It was relaxing and magical. If you plan on cooking for yourself the kitchen is well appointed. We made enchiladas, lasagna, and even focaccia bread from scratch. We also enlisted Christine for meals. She was an excellent cook and overall welcoming and loving person. Also, probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. We had them do our laundry mid week and it was line dried and super fresh. 10/10 would recommend.

The host here was very responsive and always willing to help which is the most important part to me when vacationing in another country :)

I absolutely loved all 10 days I stayed. My room walked right out to the pool. There is a gate you can leave from and have access to a beautiful beach next door. Everyone was so friendly. I brought my 13 year old daughter and she was always busy doing something!
