Elliott house was such a lovely stay. Instructions were clear and check in was super easy. It's in a lovely location and it was spotless clean too. There was a basket eith biscuits and teas/coffee on arrival and the heating was on so it was lovely a cosy (especially handy when it's - 1* outside) the parking is right outside too. We all loved it. With some comments from others with us that the photos online didn't do it justice! The hot tub was a great addition and an added bonus was feeding the animals with Vic too. I'm pretty sure that's a activity for the kids but we (a group of 7 adult women) absolutly loved it. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a lovely touch (and delicious) I'd recommend this place for frienda and family and it's jst as good for adults only as it would be for families with children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We have just returned from a weekend at Elliott House and the dairy for my dad's 60th birthday. We all had the best time! Both houses were beautiful and clean on arrival, added bonus that the gardens joined together meaning we didn't feel like we were separated. The kitchen in Elliott House was superb and fully kitted with everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner for 14 people. Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had and the gentleman that does the ground maintenance was super friendly and helpful in finding a good walk for our cocker spaniel. The only 1 small negative we had was "the secure dog walking area" being a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. That a side we an amazing stay and would definitely look at coming back again. Thankyou from the Smith family 😊

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

We stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas and cooked our Christmas dinner at the lodge. The kitchen was very well equipped - the oven was a bit tricky but the hob was fine. The lodge was very clean and homely. Great peaceful location and the most amazing sunsets were visible from the lounge. Caroline was really helpful and on hand if needed.

Peaceful Stay with Lovely Walks & Friendly Chickens! Had a really nice, quiet, and relaxed stay. The setting was peaceful, perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was the abundance of chickens—so many of them wandering around, which added to the charm! The farmer was incredibly kind and let us use his fields to walk the dogs, which was such a bonus. We also went for a lovely walk and saw the horses, making it a great countryside escape. A perfect spot for a calm getaway—would definitely stay again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

Really nice, modern cottage, very clean, was spacious but also had a cosy feel with welcome message and treats so we were made to feel very welcome. All the facilities at the cottage too, well equipped with what you need. We would definitely visit again.

I had such a lovely stay at the property, which is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The furnishings are lovely and high quality, and everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook in the property, and the beautiful floor to ceiling windows (which retract the whole way!) let lots of light in but were covered with really thick black out curtains which made sleeping really easy. I’m looking forward to staying again soon!

Thanks Mandy and Mark for a wonderful stay . Everything was as described clean, comfortable and homely. Had everything we needed for 1 night away for 3 friends to catch up . Wasn’t sure how to work the oven - Mark came over in a jiffy and was helpful and friendly . Pub just down the road was really nice . Wish we could have stayed longer . We will definitely be back 😊

This is such a lovely house, very clean, with books, a spacious loft room, and a garden to relax in. The location is near to a tram stop; shops, Tesco's, Sainsbury's are about 15 minutes' walk away. The welcome fruit and wine added a thoughtful touch to the welcome extended to us. Thank you, Michael and Heather, for a wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful stay with friends at Amelia’s , couldn’t ask for more beautiful surroundings. Lovely warm place despite being freezing outside when we arrived; a surprise for a big house! Amelia was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Highly recommend !!

Jenni’s place was nice and clean and matched the description … great for overnight stay and had all we needed .. easy to find and good communication .. well recommended

Sally was extremely helpful and the apartment was very pleasant. We were about a 10 minute walk from the city centre, where there is lots of great restaurants! We were also within walking distance of the motorpoint arena, which was really handy as the purpose of our stay was to see a show. Free parking and easy to find when following Sally's helpful instructions. We hope to come back again in the near future!

I had a great stay at Christina’s. The flat was well equipped, the surroundings beautiful and the neighbourhood peaceful and quiet. The host was very forthcoming when I had to adjust my dates and responded quickly to any queries. I definitely recommend this place.

A wonderfully unique place with bags of character. Comfortable and well catered. Just the job for a quiet getaway.

Marina is a really lovely host. We communicated very well and made everything so easy. The place is lovely with plenty of space for a few nights away. Place is clean and has a fantastic location for town especially if you are visiting for Loughborough fair.

This was a return visit and Becky was as accommodating as possible. We will recommend The Stables to friends. The discount voucher for a local restaurant was appreciated and utilised. We were pleased to see that the property had been well maintained since our last visit.

Lovely host and equally lovely place to stay the night- lynne went above and beyond to make the stay great, including extras like food to eat and milk in the fridge. Especially liked how she has vegan cruelty free products to use, and the bed was super comfy and clean. She even put on the heaters and lighting for us for when we got there. Really enjoyed this stay and cannot wait to come back to use the spa and lynnes air bnb. Appreciate the hospitality!
