We all enjoyed using the golf cart to get back and forth from parking area. Riding over the 2 bridges through the swamp was beautiful and exciting. Everything one could possibly need was there. The home was a rustic cabin but beautifully furnished and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay, and loved the location. The home was accommodating to our large group. Would love to come back one day

We came into town looking to buy a boathouse and this one would have been perfect for us. Happy to have them be my new neighbors! There are limited spaces for rentals in the marina area and this one is awesome. The views are so beautiful from both sides. It is very expensive for the time of year (nothing really going on between Superbowl and Mardi Gras and too cold for boating) but it isn't worse than getting 2 rooms somewhere!! And you get these amazing sunsets.

Very nice home and am planning on booking again. Very clean, comfortable and easy to get to. Easy access to everything in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Well worth staying here!

This was our second stay at Rick’s place, it was great just like last time! He’s very responsive if you have any questions but his details on the property guide tell you anything and everything you need to know to have a great stay! Very clean and being able to tie your boat up to the dock over night is simply the most convenient thing that I love the most.

Had a blast! House was very clean and spacious. Fishing right out the back door. Caught redfish and blue crabs. Joe was very friendly and gave us advice on fishing the area. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer!

This apartment was perfect for our needs. We loved the view of the little pond and woods nearby; they provided an ideal respite from the busy traffic of NOLA and getting around Covington during peak traffic times. Thank you very much!

Eugene was a great host, helped us with any questions we had quickly. Home was very clean. Location was close to all the local attractions which was prime for us. Would stay here again if we ever come back!

I was traveling alone with my dog and it was perfect for what we needed. No frills or thrills but a safe and quiet neighborhood. It’s an old house, which I love, but that comes with less amenities than some might expect. For me, it was just right. I appreciated the clear instructions and that I could come and go without disturbing anyone. The hosts were responsive and left me be. It looks like there are a few available bookings on the property, which I’d like to explore when traveling with muiltiple parties, such as my extended family. It would be nice to have us all there together but in separate spaces. I would definitely book again.

I am not sure how to turn 1,000 characters into an understanding of the perfection that is a stay with Maxie and Lydia. Also, I don't know how wise it is to say TOO much or the place may never be available to be booked! But in all seriousness.. the location is amazing full or freedom and serenity. Close enough to everything without being in any particular thoroughfare. Time seems to slow down around you just enough to enjoy your surroundings and take the time to look around you. Thoughtful touches are everywhere and the hosts!! You could not ask for kinder, more generous hosts. They offer their home, their spirit and their recommendations. This was our second trip to this spot and I am already planning the third and fourth!

This place is very cute with all the amenities you need! Nice hot shower with great water pressure. Right next to the marina bar that serves good food and drinks. Would definitely recommend.

Nice and local place just in reach of several Mardi Gras parade routes. Hosts are friendly and responsive and their place was cute and cozy.

We were extremely pleased with the house and hope to stay again in the future. The house has all the charm of a craftsman style home . Just lovely!!! Beautiful location and the house had everything we needed and more. We love the Covington/Madisonville area and plan to book again on our next visit.

We loved our stay at Stillwater! This cottage was a great home base for us to explore the area and revisit many of the natural areas we always enjoyed when we lived in Louisiana years ago. The cottage is private and located near a bayou that had a serene nature walk down to it. The sunroom was a wonderful relaxing spot at the end of the day or in the morning. We also enjoyed hanging out on the patio to take in nature. The cottage had everything for a great stay. Glad to have the washer and dryer. Donna was a friendly host with good communication. Would highly recommend this place. We definitely would enjoy returning sometime.

This is our second time that we have had guests stay at this location and as always, they have just loved.

We booked Shana’s place and to be honest it exceeded our expectations. The location is pretty rural which is what we wanted and the street it is located on is well maintained you can tell everyone has pride of ownership and this place was no exception. Cottage was very purpose built and stocked from the hot tub to location of fan’s/ AC, lighting more than enough cooking supplies- abundant amount of pots and pans, utensils, rice cooker, crock pot etc. When we first arrived the kids were running around like a kid in a candy store, massage recliners in living room the outdoor kitchen with tv, hot tub and the closeness to the water… to admit me and the wife were doing the same. Hot tub nights, roasting marshmallows listening to the owls staring up at the stars with a daiquiri in the beautiful Lousiana swamp it doesn’t get much better. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!!! Book the experience now!
