Hop off the highway, Relax!

The low water bridge was flooded so Sharon met us on the road and guided us in the back way. She provided us with candles and flashlights in case the power went out due to the intensity of the storms. The house was clean and beautiful and I think we would have had an incredible weekend had it not been for the storms. You can’t control the weather though! Regardless of the storms we had a lovely time sitting together and reading and watching a little television. The rooms were clean and comfy. It was an incredibly welcome home! We ended up leaving early through absolutely no fault of the hosts. We just decided it was safer to get home before we potentially got stuck due to the flooding in the area. They were very responsive and accommodating.

This place was perfect for us, and had everything we needed! The keurig and the drip coffee maker, with plenty of coffee, were nice. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The location was great for our family events in Bonne Terre and Fredericktown. We would definitely stay there again!

Columbia Street Carriage House

Such a great place to stay! Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay but we loved the access to the park. The house was clean and cozy. Plenty of towels and lots of extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Lena and Matt were very helpful and informative during the storm threats and warnings during our stay and cleared a space under the deck to help protect our vehicle from hail. We were surprised to find a skylight in the 2nd bedroom. The daylight woke our son up coming through it every morning, so maybe something to keep in mind. Also, the bed in the main bedroom has to be slept in with someone sleeping against the wall/“headboard.” The only place I saw this in the listing was in the description of the picture of the room. I am surprised more reviews don’t mention this as it’s not very comfortable (it wasn’t for us anyway). Overall, we’d love to stay again in the future!

Gabe and Jamie were amazing hosts and their property was very relaxing and clean. They accommodated our requests for early check-in and late check-out, and they were very responsive. We’re looking forward to coming back and renting their place again for a longer period.

Wonderful little cottage by the lake with a great host. There was a big storm/tornado weather that shortened our stay, so we unfortunately did not get to take advantage of all of the amenities that were available. However, the host was very responsive during the whole situation and ensured we were taken care of at every angle. The cottage has everything you could think of, and made for a very cozy stay. It was very clean and easy to use. The view was really pretty! Thank you for being so attentive with the crazy weather, and making sure we had everything we need. We will make sure to come back when can spend more time. Thank you!

This our 3rd time staying at one of the Hulseys properties. Unfortunately, this time was for a funeral. The location is really convenient for me, it very close to alot of my family. I love what they done with the building and all of the changes on Main St are awesome. I'm looking forward to our next stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashton's place. Loved the charm and the robes. We enjoyed the bourbon and music bingo downstairs at Four Towns Brewery. We'll definitely try to stay at one of Ashton's places the next time we're in town.

Spacious Downtown Historical Home

It was a cozy place, very much felt like home. super roomy and spacious, everything was nice and neatly done, i appreciate all the stuff they provided. 10/10 would recommend and if i had the chance, would rent again for sure.

Lynn and Jacob were amazing hosts. I felt like a welcome guest in their house as soon as I arrived. My own space and share of living spaces. Super nice couple. Breakfast on the balcony was just perfect. Eggs from their hens and honey from their bee hives. Very nice home, view, and lovely grounds around the house. They were also very sensitive to giving me my own space. I look forward to staying there in the future. I feel like I have two new friends.

Sweet Getaway

Our first mother daughter weekend together was everything and more than we expected we had a wonderful time and will be back for another visit. Sarah was so sweet and nice very accommodating. Her home was fabulous and a very relaxing place to stay the neighbors waterfall was so relaxing on the back deck I would recommend this home to anyone. Excellant for your pets the court yard and back yard was secure so you could let your pet outside and know they were not going anywhere. Monica Fiona & Teddy Bear
