An amazing villa with a super host. Azula Vista has everything you need for a luxury vacation. What you see: A priceless view of Secret Harbor, a three level villa with a huge pool (with outdoor shower), A/C units in all indoor areas, large kitchen with plenty of refrigerator space. Like being home and more (detergent, soap, conditioner, iron, coffee). Plenty of outdoor space if you need to escape for a minute. What you don’t see: The feeling of being off the grid with reliable WiFi and Netflix. Solar panels and (quiet) Tesla batteries to keep the power running for those daily St. Thomas power outages you love to hate. Whole house water filtration system that allows you to drink the water out of every faucet. A super host who 48 hours prior to arrival is available to answer questions and provide concierge like service throughout your stay. A host who will answer your calls and is willing to help when “emergencies” arise. Our family had a wonderful time here and hope you do too.

My group of four had a great stay here. No issues with communication and Harold was a huge help for us getting around the island. He gave us much better rates than the taxis. The view from the porch is amazing. AC unit was powerful enough to keep the whole place cool. Bathroom is large but it is outside so there are critters around. No issue with bugs in the house but we did get bitten by mosquitoes in the bathroom. They kept a can of bug spray in there so we started just spraying it around when we needed to be in there. The only cons I’d say are that if you aren’t a reasonably fit person the stairs up and down may be too much for you. You can drive to the top though if you’re renting a car then it wouldn’t be a problem. Also, you can hear absolutely everything happening on the floor above from the talking to toilets flushing. There are earplugs provided but if you are a light sleeper just keep that in mind. Despite that we would still rebook great house and great hosts! Recommend it!

The view was gorgeous. Karen met us in our Jeep and told us beforehand we had to rent a 4-wheel drive Jeep to be able to get to her place. The drive up and down is a little harrowing. So if you are not a person who values nature enough to put up with a somewhat dangerous drive to get there, this is not for you. But we loved the place. We never had to lock the place when we left. We never used the air conditioning. We left the windows open most all the time, the whole ten days, including at night when we were sleeping. The breeze was lovely. We got to talk to Karen before we got there and after we got onto the island for help info. Karen let us use her kayak, beach chairs and her cooler; nice! She is a lovely person! I loved the isolation; all the nature! We did have to walk up and down a series of rock/cement stairs to get from the Jeep to the cottage and visa versa; it was lit from dark to about 9:30pm. We are hardy walkers. Wished we had had a few more hangers; had 6.

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out! Suzy was very responsive to any requests or questions we had.

Barons place in st thomas was very clean and a lot of space. Kitchen had everything needed to make food. I would recommend renting a car because the place is in a very beautiful secluded area on the mountain. Well worth it

Jared was a fantastic host! The house was in a nice private area with a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was spotless and had all the amenities you need while on vacation. Loved that he had beach chairs and snorkel gear available for us to use. He also included a great list of restaurant recommendations and beaches to see. Overall we had a fantastic trip and would stay at Jared’s place again during our next time to St. Thomas. 🙌

Michael was so helpful in making sure we were able to find the location. He made himself easily available while also respecting our privacy. The location is serene…but you absolutely need a vehicle that doesn’t sit close to the ground. We would 100% stay there again!

Ja is extremely responsive and so helpful. Her father lives in the unit downstairs so if anything is needed he is there to help and is extremely friendly. There is a lot of stairs to climb, so it was an experience trying to go up and down with suitcases/coolers/ umbrella/ chairs but well worth it. The location is close to downtown Charlotte Amalie/ restaurants and shops. Great experience!

We had a great week at Down Yonder! Easy access to supermarkets and restaurants. Beautiful view. Private. Great pool for our kids. Extremely clean and nice layout.

We decided during our stay that the view from the cottage was most likely the prettiest view we have ever experienced. We loved waking every morning to the most beautiful sunrises and dining on the porch in the evening, watching the sailboats come and go in the far cove as the warm evening light cast a soft glow on the vista. The nearby beach and snorkeling were probably our favorite. It’s no joke driving the steep and curvy roads to get to the house, but it’s 100% worth it! And Victoria was a wonderful host!

This villa was perfect for 6 adults. They had everything we needed, were very friendly coming in, and had great recommendations. The view was unimaginable- gorgeous. The pool was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was spacious, and the living room was comfortable for everyone to sit. Loved the shower in the master- and was thankful for the beach chairs and bug spray that was provided.

What an incredible place to stay! It was amazing to have a private pool, expansive balcony, and open concept living space all with ocean views. The kitchen is large and functional and looks out over amazing views while you’re cooking. The snacks, drinks, and provisions they provided were very thoughtful! It felt very private. We already booked our return trip next year! The only thing to note is that the bed is listed as a king in the listing and is actually a queen on a king platform (no big deal for us), and it is very firm. We will probably try to bring a mattress topper with us next time because of how firm it is. It was overall a truly incredible stay!

This place is absolutely amazing. The view is even more stunning in person. The house is equip with all the amenities you need, the pool is pristine, the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and each bathroom has a double vanity. As other reviewers have noted the drive to the villa is very hilly and steep at parts as you are literally driving to the top of the mountain. Just do yourself a favor and get a 4-wheel drive car. The drive will get easier the more times you do it. All in all a great stay and we can’t wait to come back!!!! 🏝️🔥😍

What a gem! Nice and tucked away from Cruz bay but still close to everything. Theresa was very communicative and helpful whenever we had questions. Can’t wait to return to St John, such a special place! Oh and always rent a jeep! You’ll have fun and feel better getting around the island without any challenges, no matter the weather.

We enjoyed our visit to StJohn Island and especially the East side and beaches and beauty and peace! The cottage is so cute and the deck was nice to enjoy the champagne that she left for us!! So sweet! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the linens were so nice and soft also!! We are particular about beds and this one was one of the most comfortable ever! The pool was a little hidden gem and a nice spot to hang out. Thanks so much for the communications and kindness - we appreciated your hospitality !

Loved our stay at Kapok Villas. First of all, Kim was an excellent host, and I would even venture to say one of the best AirBnb hosts I’ve encountered. She was extremely helpful, proactive with local recommendations, and the welcome care package was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We loved the central location of the unit which gave easy access to all sides of the island, the expansive views from the porch, and the pool area was great. I would definitely stay here again upon returning to St John!

Alex is a superior host and has a wonderful home. The place is actually better than the photos online. Spacious and clean, well furnished, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, incredible views from the deck. I felt like I was in paradise. They met us at the boat dock drove us to the location. They made sure we had everything that we needed and knew how to get around. I could not have asked for more and anyone wondering should absolutely stay here. I left to go to the gym early one morning and Alex actually texted me to make sure everything was OK at six in the morning. Who could beat that?

Brittany and Robert were amazing hosts. They answered all of our questions quickly and even reached out to us to warn us of a storm coming through. The location was exactly what we wanted.. quiet and private. We spent very night and morning on the screened in porch.

Our stay at James and Tara's villa was absolutely wonderful! The villa is situated in a gated compound, which provided a sense of security and peace of mind throughout our stay. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes outside of Cruz Bay, making it incredibly easy to access town and all its amenities. The villa itself was immaculate and comfortable, exceeding our expectations in every way. It came equipped with beach chairs and towels, which made our beach days even more enjoyable and hassle-free. The thoughtful amenities provided by James and Tara ensured that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a spotless, comfortable, and conveniently located accommodation on St. John's. James and Tara were fantastic hosts, and their villa provided the perfect setting for our vacation. Thank you again for a memorable stay!

great location. loved the gated community. was clean and beautiful with excellent view. nice easy check in process. very spacious and clean rooms. had a library of books about local area. landscaping was beautiful. the community pool and pool table were great. wish we could have used the pool table in commons area before noon or after 9:00pm some days. originally thought we wanted to stay in Coral Bay area away from the crowds, but after driving all over the island we were glad we didn't because that whole coral Bay area smelled like sulfur. we cooked the majority of our meals. the place was well stocked with spices. the cook top was a bit hard to figure put for us since we have a gas stove at home. if you like infrared cook tops, then you are set. the y had a dishwasher and good fridge and nice microwave. pots were good but pans could be better. had one stainless steel pan that was not non stick. the only nonstick pan was warped because someone probably left it heated on stove without food and then put cold water on it in the sink while hot. Knives were okay. plenty of counter space. dining table was really neat. bathrooms were super sweet all 3 with awesome showers. washer and dryer was wonderful. ac worked well. TV options were great. veranda was awesome for morning breakfast and evening sunset meals. BBQ grill is a nice weber with clean grates and full propane tank but had to use a match to light one side. grilled a couple meals. although this was higher price range than I would have liked, it was overall a phenomenal place to stay. if in your budget, I wouldn't think twice. you will be happy with this booking.

What can we say… absolutely stunning house and view. We stay at a lot of Airbnbs around the globe, this one is a favorite!

Can’t say enough good about Karen and her place. She’s a wonderful host and gave us great tips for around the island. She’s friendly and willing to help any way she can. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Her place is great as well. It has a fantastic view over coral bay and is serene and peaceful. It’s located in a great spot so nothing was too far away. We snorkeled every day and only used one tank of gas the entire trip. Her place was super clean and had a lot of windows for great natural light. We used the kitchen hard to save some money and everything worked as expected. Had a great stay and would highly recommend.
