We had a comfy visit, the home looks alot bigger on the inside then the outside. Everything was clean, there was coffee, snacks on arrival for us and he had kid books and items availble for use. My daughter loved the backyard cause she got to play without hovering cause it was fully fenced in.

This was a girls night! We had a nice relaxing time. Everything was great. The view is beautiful. It makes you feel at home. We are already talking about another night there!!

Hosts were lovely. Very quick with responses. Lovely home. Very clean. Would stay again. We had a great stay.

Great host with an even great space

Peter’s place was absolutely beautiful and was able to accommodate myself and my group of friends comfortably. Peter was extremely helpful and answered quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Will definitely be coming back again to this beautiful spot!

Beautiful cottage with lots of space for guests! Perfect location and very kind hosts, would highly recommend and will most definitely book this place again.

Ken's place took us back in time where we could imagine a fisherman and his family living in this space. The space is small and the decor is intended to match what it might have been like many years ago, but it worked just fine for our family of four. Be aware that the kitchen is a very tight space with a loud refrigerator and that there is only one bathroom with a claw tub/shower. Also, there was no WiFi and the cell service in the area was spotty. The location is beautiful and you can walk straight out on to a local foot path. We did have to contact Ken to get more specific directions on the location of the property so be sure to have this information before arrival. Would be very hard to find in the dark. Consider using Google Street View. We would definitely consider staying here again if we go back to the area.

Kyla’s accommodations was every thing we hoped for. Kyla was very responsive with any questions. It was very clean, cozy and an amazing view of the lake. Everything we could hope for with a busy weekend of Christmas shopping in our books. I can only imagine the view for the New Years Eve fireworks 😊😊

We had a wonderful stay at Elaine’s place! The home was spotless and exactly as described in the listing, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and conveniently close to local attractions by a vehicle. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the neighborhood, which added to the overall experience. Elaine was an excellent host, communicating clearly and promptly from the moment we booked until checkout . She had provided detailed instructions for check-in, making the process seamless and stress-free. She also had given great local tips in advance , which helped us make the most of my visit. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and we appreciated the little touches like set up for the BBQ with utensils, binoculars , a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedding. I felt at home throughout my stay. We highly recommend Elaine’s place to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. We would gladly stay here again in the future!

It was our second visit to Whale Watcher House and it was great like the first one. Amazing landscapes,incredible sunrises and sunsets,inspiring birdsongs and ocean surf sounds…All these are perfectly complemented by cozy apartments,where you can find everything you need for your comfortable stay! Elaine,the hostess, is very friendly and ready to solve any problem! We will definitely come back next year and advise everyone to do the same 😊

We absolutely loved our stay!!! We didn’t want to leave. Beautiful surroundings, super clean, private space. We loved the hot tub and used it every night. What a beautiful place to relax and spent quality time with our family! We will definitely be using this spot as our family get away every summer!

We had an incredible family vacation at the Bluebird Cottage. What a gorgeous spot!! Sascha and Betty-Lou considered every detail and were exceptional hosts. They were excellent communicators and were kind and helpful with any questions we had. There’s plenty of space and it’s well stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommend for a family gathering or get-away.

We loved our time at Brenda's Airbnb! It was nice to Holiday like a local for a few days. The lake was great and they have nice chairs to sit in on the dock and relax. We also took the kayaks out for a morning. The boat house is roomy and we had everything we needed. Having a pool table was fun. We couldn't have ask for kinder hosts. They checked in to see we were comfortable and to see if we needed any local tips and then they left us to enjoy their property. ...And we did😊

Our stay at Anne’s was great! We were a group of 6 people spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 68, and this place met all our needs. Our kids loved the birds and chipmunks. My husband and I loved the access to the water and kayaks. My parents loved the view and hot tub. We were able to have family dinners and bbqs without any trouble. The surrounding nature was beautiful and was only a short drive to St. John’s or other historic towns (like Harbour Grace). Anne was very communicative and checked in proactively to make sure everything was alright. We are already planning our next stay. This remote cottage was perfect for us who were looking tor time to relax and connect, however the access to internet was handy for quick work check ins and a cosy evening watching a movie by the fire. Recommendations for any first time visitors to Newfoundland renting a vehicle - make sure to get one that is good for unpaved roads. Highly recommend this place.

This little gem was very clean. Its in need of a little TLC on the deck boards but very comfortable. its a lovely spot, well stocked with condiments, dishwasher, washer and dryer and its right on the lake. Lots if birds and water fowl. we found everything we needed and more. Tessa sent us an email the day we arrived should we need anything (we did not) We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. thank you Tessa!!

Halo’s Haven is simply a magical place where we found peace, serenity, tranquility, privacy and it was truly a complete stress release. The place itself was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. We loved and had so much fun with all the movies and playing the different board games. For us, one of the key features that set it above others is the fully fenced backyard. Our fur babies were so happy staying there and visibly enjoyed it as much as we did. Owners M & J were very friendly, polite, quick and followed up periodically to ensure everything was going as we expected. Even before leaving, we had already decided that we will be booking again very soon. This is a unique gem that found a niche for families with four legged family members. Absolutely recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s a little out of the way (access by gravel road) however it’s private, access to water, with dock, pedal boat, and fishing rods. The house is spacious and has everything you need, including all of the basics for cooking. All bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and more than enough towels. There’s an AC unit on top floor which cools it down appropriately but no AC in the house. Opening the windows did help cool it slightly, there are fans in all bedrooms which helped a lot on the hot days. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a getaway and need to accommodate a larger group! Julia and Dion responded within minutes to all of our inquiries- all around great hosts!
