John's house is about two miles north of the Blue Lot at Notre Dame. We were in South Bend for a football game. The house was very nice, plenty of room, three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, also pretty roomy. This place was easy to navigate, uncluttered, everything we needed in the kithchen (we only cooked a little). Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommend!

Apartment was fantastic. A short distance to ND, as described. Lauren was great and offered a ton of recommendations to local eateries and was always responsive. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was a great place to stay for our first trip to South Bend and Notre Dame. I felt exceptionally safe. The apartment was very comfortable for my husband and I. Once I got the hang of the key fob, entrance to the garage, elevator and room was easy.

We enjoyed our stay. Sharon sent clear instructions, and we found the space to be comfortable and clean. Nice walkable neighborhood; we walked to the Morris Theater for a concert. This would be an ideal place to stay for a Notre Dame game or visit. We would stay here again.

Convenient to ND campus. Very clean setup. Host provided great instructions entrance and use of shower. Enjoyed the brief stay would definitely consider again! Host was very responsive and readily available. Thanks Kristina!

Wonderful weekend getaway stay. Peaceful surroundings, comfortable space, and the Studebaker Brewery right across the street we were able to enjoy a great evening meal without braving the icy roads. The price is more than fair. Highly recommend.

Best place we have stayed in South Bend, our son is a senior at Notre Dame, and I only wish we had found this sooner. Teena went above and beyond to make our family comfortable, stocking the kitchen with a few of our favorite things and making sure we knew how to get in to the house before arrival. The home is very comfortable, with space for lounging, dining and sleeping. Bathroom was stocked with products in case we forgot anything. Location is walkable to ND campus, Eddy street and in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. We could not be more grateful to Teena for making our stay special and memorable. Thank you, we will be back!

I don’t know what was better- the hosts, property, or the location. Upon arrival the unit was filled with beverages, snacks, and other food basics. The queen bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the large sized bedroom. Parking was easy and I loved our yard. I urge people to take advantage of the trail across the street whether it is to walk, run, bike, or kayak. It is walking distance or brief drive to ND campus, bars, and restaurants. We also took advantage of the 45 minute drive to Silver Beach at Lake Michigan. Whether you are looking for a short getaway or an extended stay like we did, do not look any further. The property is exactly as described. We were there for the ND playoff game. The area was packed with fans (as it should have been). Velvet’s studio apartment was secure and quiet. Incredible location with grocery store downstairs, steps away from restaurants, bars, Macri’s bakery, and more! Devine place to stay for a long weekend! Thank you so much for hosting, Velvet.

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

Nice place to get away, even in the winter. Comfy house within walking distance of Sawyer. Would return.

This was a perfect location for a long weekend getaway, the house was very clean and within 20-30 minutes of nearly a dozen breweries and plenty of wineries along with the beach/ state park. Everything was clean and well taken care of, instructions were clear and the recommendations were good Only cons are it was slightly smaller than we expected and part of a duplex which wasn't clear in the listing, but each half does have their own hot tubs which are secluded.
