Our stay was very relaxing and tranquil. The scenery of the lake and the cleanliness of the house were amazing. Definitely would go back again.

Beautiful location, adorable little house--the perfect place for my retreat! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the little touches such as snacks and s'mores supplies. The river and view are so peaceful--while the pictures are accurate they don't do it justice!

We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

LOVED it! Was there on a business trip in late winter, and wished it was for pleasure, and in a warmer month, so I could enjoy the lake it sits on, and get to relax while there. However, I was overwhelmed with prep for television and radio appearances and a live cooking show, so I only had the pleasure of using the AWESOME soaking tub to de-stress from super long hectic days, sleeping very well in oh-so-comfy bedding, and tossing together breakfast in a charming kitchen stocked with basics, as well as a well-stocked coffee bar. I thought the fresh creamer in the fridge was a nice touch, and I loved sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my coffee and the beautiful lake view. I hope to return some day -under less stressful circumstances- so I can get to enjoy all its outdoor amenities in warmer weather, too. I also want to mention that I felt very safe staying there alone (owners live next door) and the place is so cozy I felt like I was at home throughout my entire 3-day stay.

Can’t say enough about Jake’s place. It was heaven. Beautiful sunsets on the lake. Awesome fishing. Comfortable beds. Clean. The back porch is huge and awesome. The backyard is an outdoor paradise. Our kids used the beach, the kayaks, the pier, the paddle boat, the pontoon. No complaints. Owners are the most gracious hosts and beautiful family. Thank you Jake for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. We will return ASAP.

This is the third time we've stayed at Lori's place. Our family of 12, coming from Cleveland and Chicago, to spend time on the water and together. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of cookware for gourmet meals. The 2 mile loop around the lake is quiet and a good route for running. There's lot of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air.

Steve and team were lovely! From Check-in and throughout the stay they were responsive, friendly and kind. Steve and his wife even stopped by after a severe storm to check in on us and make sure we didn't need the generator or any assistance. Perfectly peaceful space for our weekend girl trip. What a blessing this stay was for our spirit. What a gift of hospitality from the host. We'll definitely be back to enjoy! Déitra

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

Peaceful cottage on Long Lake. Our family shared quality time on Labor Day weekend. Had a peaceful relaxing time. Had a campfire, played in the water. Loved the screened in porch and deck looking over the lake!

Scott and Rebecca were the perfect hosts. They very welcoming and attentive. They would ck in with us occasionally to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. The description of the airbnb was perfect, this was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend this property. Yes, this was " lake life" at its best. We intend on comming back. Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

We loved our stay! This was the perfect place to have a family gathering over the holidays for those traveling from out of town.

We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Maggie was extremely helpful - before, during and after our stay. As a distance runner, this was a perfect place for the long miles. With a large family, this was a perfect place to keep us all under one roof. Our original plan was to simply stay in for the cold days but I feel this will be even better in the summer to enjoy the peaceful outdoors around the property.

Our family and friends had an amazing stay. The house is exactly as described and has everything you need including a full kitchen for home made meals. Kid friendly with a ton of activities. Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! The space was perfect for our family and our dog, offering a cozy retreat with all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their directions/instructions were top notch. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Casa de la Musica was perfect for our family gathering over Thanksgiving. The entire property has a charming musical theme with interesting art and decor. There were plenty of bedrooms to spread out and lots of open spaces to gather to eat, play games, do puzzles, or just relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance, pots & pans or utensils that one would need to cook a feast, including spices and condiments galore. I was especially impressed to find a standing mixer! The bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, make-up remover wipes and plenty of toilet tissue and extra towels -- above and beyond any of our previous rentals. We also enjoyed playing pool and soaking in the hot tub. It was only 10 minutes down the road from one of our favorite state parks (Pokagon) where we enjoyed a fun toboggan ride and visit to the nature center with the kids. Shauna & Sean were very welcoming and responsive in answering all of our questions. Definitely a 5 star stay!

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

Absolutely beautiful location on the lake. Everything was exactly as expected and items were well stocked. Hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries we had. There are homes right next door but hardly anyone was around. It was peaceful and serene. Between the sandy beach area, the water slide and shallow lake area the outdoor area is great for kids of any ages. The lake water was very clean. Our boys, 8 and 12, also enjoyed trying to catch little fish near the shore. Extra shout out for quality bathroom products and k-cups!

I've stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this was definitely one of, if not the best I've stayed in. The pictures really don't do it justice- the view across the lake was gorgeous and very peaceful. The home itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very well stocked for basically any need you might have while there. Lauren met us for the check in and showed us around and was an all around fantastic host. You're also right by many stores and restaurants (which Lauren provided us a detailed list of, very helpful/appreciated) but we mainly spent our time just enjoying the home, hot tub, and lake. There are neighbors on either side and around the lake, but the way the backyard space is set up makes it still feel very private when you're back there. I would definitely love to come back in the future!
