We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

We went in the winter, and it was beautiful and cozy. It was a very cool experience.

We had 11 adults and five small children in the house for 4 days. There was room to gather and to get away from each other as needed. The indoor pool and hot tub were in great shape and perfect for our family. All appliances worked well. Bathrooms were well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The host was available when we had questions. Wi-Fi worked great for streaming on multiple devices at the same time. Could use a few more chairs in the dining area.

Clean, cute and peaceful. The host didn't require a lot of clean up tasks before departure. Kitchen well stocked with utensils to cook.

This is the third time we've stayed at Lori's place. Our family of 12, coming from Cleveland and Chicago, to spend time on the water and together. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of cookware for gourmet meals. The 2 mile loop around the lake is quiet and a good route for running. There's lot of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air.

Rented for the weekend with friends for a quick getaway and had a great time! Beautiful and peaceful spot! Very clean and Steve was fantastic to deal with. There was enough space inside and out for all 6 of us to relax and take in the lake view, dine, play games and just enjoy our time together. Great place to stay!

2 beautiful bedrooms, third bedroom is a children's bedroom. Although an adult could sleep on the lower bunk, the mattress was not comfortable. 4th bed is in the basement. The house is big and nicely decorated and we had a great stay. 1 issue with water heater but owner responded to text quickly and we were able to resolve the problem ourself. We recommend this place.

This place is amazing. It's large; beautiful; comfortable; and in a fantastic location, with a lake right past the backyard AND across the street from the front door. There were so many nice touches by the hosts (like extra blankets in all the bedrooms; lots of thick towels; lots of pots, pans, dishes, spices, etc. in the kitchen). We highly recommend it!

Great place! Very handicap friendly, with a wide open floor plan, large deck, and an accessible bathroom. We would certainly return here. Beautiful and clean lake! Both the check in and check out process were easy and well explained. Cheryl was a great host! Extremely helpful and responsive.

Loved the lay out of the house for our big group. We had enough space for everybody. Safe neighborhood and in a cul-de- sac with low traffic was great. The heated pool, back yard space and privacy was a major win as well. The park and pickle ball courts in walking distance were a nice surprise. 5 pm check in is not ideal for young families. All in all a great family vacation.

This was a fun & relaxing vacation for us, our kids and the grandkids. We really never left the place except to take the boat out. The kids and grandkids had a blast in the water and the shallow water was perfect for the young ones - they especially liked the water trampoline! The house is very spacious so we never felt crowded and my daughter was able to ‘work from home’ there utilizing the desk upstairs and the picnic table on the deck one day. The kitchen offered us everything we needed for food preparation so we didn’t have to go out to eat. We would recommend Karen’s place to others.

This Lakes James retreat is just as promised. It is bright, clean, has everything you need to feel right at home, and the view of the lake is spectacular. Due to the timing of our stay, we weren't able to use the lake front cabin, but it would be perfect for a summer visit. Travis is extremely responsive to questions. We highly recommend this location to others.

This is our 2nd time coming here! Perfect location a winter break, quick little drive for skiing, tubing and tobogganing. Highly recommend eating at Brewsters Food and Spirits and 120 Taphouse.

What a great experience to be able to live in a piece of American history. This community is a testament to the idea of living in harmony with our surroundings instead of just on top of them.
