Colette was an amazing host, she even surprised me with a birthday treat! The house is even nicer than the pictures, and the outside areas, decks etc.. while not so useful in negative temps, were awesome and you can tell there’s plenty of outdoor space as well as inside, in the more temperate months. She and her husband were great and so helpful. The house has great supplies, anything you need to feel at home. The sunroom is absolutely a stunning place to sit! Enjoyed watching the snow, sun and the deer wander through. Definite do-over.

Paradise found!!! Wendy and Kenny run an amazing lodge. They are fantastic people who are truly dog friendly. I originally booked the Ladybug. Wendy reached out and offered the Loon's Nest as an alternative as it has a woodstove (and a great view of the lake). I jumped on the offer. I work outside all day, the heat from the stove was just what I, and my little dog, needed. Kenny offered to stock the stove midday so I was warm when I came home. There was no pressure to accept the service. They respect their guests privacy, but are always available if needed. The cabin is rustic but so very clean. The lodge office was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I've been to Disney World and felt my experience at Limberlost was on par (if not better) than Disney...if you've been to Disney, you'll know what I am talking about. I plan to return at my first opportunity!

It's a very nice older cabin. Very quiet and peaceful area. Many kitchen and bathroom amenities. Owner offered to help in any way, but didn't bother us. We LOVED the private beach area: within easy walking distance, beautiful sunsets on the bay, and we watched the big ships traveling to the Soo Locks / Superior. Brimley is close to the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, St. Ignace, Point Iroquois Lighthouse, Whitefish Point Lighthouse, and the Shipwreck Museum. Staying here allowed us to stay in one location while easily traveling by day to many beautiful places. We would come again if coming to the Upper Peninsula.

Very welcoming host. Space was comfortable and had everything we needed. The sauna was an awesome addition. View was beautiful. Very peaceful area. Other guests in the area but everyone is very peaceful and respectful. Will stay again!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Tristan’s place was so very comfortable and convenient. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna were extra bonuses that make the stay so special and worthwhile. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great place to relax, sit back and enjoy while also enjoying some island time. Will definitely book again.

Teddy and Trella are great hosts, they were always there to help us in every situation, not just with the RV but others like the campfire, the lake and more. The Recreational Vechicle is in excellent condition, almost new; It was so comfortable and stylish, we wanted to experience how wonderful it was to stay in an RV and this place met all of our expectations. Thanks Teddy and Trella, we will definitely be back.

Loved the decors and quality of the appliances and utensils. We didn’t do much cooking because our schedule did not allow it, but we would have loved to make use of the kitchen. The location was perfect for a hockey tournament as we were close to major routes. We both agreed the unit was in our top 10.

What a beautiful and amazing weekend we spent at Spruce cabin. Robin and her family made us feel right at home, complete with daily visits from their sweet dog! Robin’s property is absolutely beautiful, the rest and relaxation we felt was so necessary and exactly when you look for when getting out of Toronto for a trip up north. Robin shared lots of local hiking trails and scenic drives, and surprised us with some fresh cherry tomatoes from the community garden I got to enjoy with breakfast. This is a property that we can see ourselves visiting yearly, especially during the beautiful fall colours. Spruce was well lit, and warm in the evenings thanks to the heaters. The screened in porch was perfect for reading and taking in the lake view. The lake was calm, serene and they provided canoes, kayaks and SUPs (along with life jackets), that my husband enjoyed very much. If you see an open weekend here at Spruce ( or any cabin on the property) BOOK IT! Thank you again, Robin!

This location and house are amazing. The views from the crowsnest were a bonus. This is the place to be if one is fortunate enough to stay there when northern lights would be visible (the ever-present clouds over Canada prevented us from being so lucky). Monitoring an aurora site and marine traffic app is a must. I am so thankful that the steepness of the stairs was clear so that I was able to block them (pizza boxes from Superior Pizza came in handy) so that my curious pup could not try to go up - he would have definately gotten hurt trying to do so because of his size and how his pads would slide on the painted wood. Also, because we travel with our dog we routinely bring our own sheets, blankets and pillows to use on top of those provided at rentals I have to do something with all decorative pillows - this place has plenty. The ledges in the bedroom closets are a brilliant solution to living out of a suitcase! Loved this place
