Such a great time! Good space to have family come together while having their own spaces to sleep. The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful and all of the amenities came in handy! Great spot.

Bella Vita was a great host. The property was spotless. The home and backyard were lovely and relaxing. Very comfy beds and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and you could walk to downtown Douglas. A short drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Bella Vita was very responsive and accommodating. We have been coming to this area for many years and can honestly say this was the nicest property we have stayed at. We would definitely return to this property.

My husband and our two pups and our extended family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Bob was super responsive with a couple of questions we asked before we arrived. The home was spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The hot tub was perfect on the cold winter days and the house had everything we needed to cook some meals. We would definitely stay here again. The privacy, the view, and the cozy fireplace were just perfect!

The house was beautiful and location perfect for walking downtown and even into Douglas. The pool had amazing views. Kitchen fully stocked, and furniture and bedding very comfortable and felt like home. Jill was very responsive to questions. Would stay there again.

we stayed at Melissa's home for a long weekend because we were attending an event at the wings event center. it was a 20-30 minute drive from the venue every day, but I feel that it was worth it! The kids loved to play in the pool before bed. The beds were very comfortable. We liked having the grill available to cook meals on as well. Really, the only complaint (if you could call it that) was that there were some ladybugs and stink bugs in the home, but it is an older home in a country setting, so it was expected. It did not bother us to take care of them at all. overall, we had a great stay and would book this home again in the future

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at Karissa’s cabin. Lots of natural lighting, spacious unit, and lovely amenities like WiFi, jacuzzi, kitchen appliances, and washer/dryer. There are a lot of nearby stores for any last minute groceries or shopping. The views were absolutely stunning. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again but in the warmer season to explore that trails here! Thank you for having us at your cabin! We had such a nice, relaxing stay.

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

It was peaceful and quite, so comfortable to get rest. I had a family member in the hospital- it was perfectly located to get away when needed but close enough to also get back. It felt like a slice of home during our chaos, very clean. It is also located very close to the beach which is my favorite part of Michigan City. I graduated from MC over 3 decades ago and I continue to return because of that beautiful lake. I am excited to add Connie's adorable place to my list of places that are safe to stay in ;-) to stay!

Overall, it was a terrific stay. There is a great deal of room, easy access to restaurants, and a 30 minute drive to the Notre Dame campus.

We had a blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas with family. Thanks for helping to make that possible.

The weather was rainy, but I spent time reading some of the many books about the Amish. Unfortunately, the power went out due to a barn roof landing on the power lines, but Lynette and her husband tried very hard to make me as comfortable as possible. I would certainly stay again if in the area.

Booked for the view and it was exactly as pictured! Almost no obstructions/ neighbors when viewing the lake whatsoever. Perfect location and the hot tub was a great perk.

Great stay, the property is awesome! However, if you are looking for a stay where the host communicates quickly, this is not the one for you. They will respond, but all communication we had was off the Airbnb platform.

Ethan’s place was great for our short weekend getaway. It’s was clean and well kept. Had nice towels, tissues, TP, soap, dispose, garbage bags. Exit instructions were clear. One item to be aware of (which can be seen from the pics) is that the property does include stairs for getting in/out. This was not a problem for our group but is something to note if you have folks with mobility restrictions in your group.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the spa and pool table. It’s a fantastic place for a small group.

This is a great place to stay in Saugatuck/Douglas if you are looking for all the feels in autumn. I’m sure it has that during the other seasons as well. The pool/hot tub were perfect. Outdoor fire pit and games provide plenty to do for the family. Inside is very cozy and modern finishes. 5 minute drive from everything you need in the area. Very solid property

Impressive A-frame with a wonderful looking dining room in the basement with an electric fireplace plus access to the back yard. The kitchen was very well equipped as were the bath rooms. We loved hanging out on the massive blue leather sofa in the living room. The park within a short walk was a bonus for the dog. The house is within walking distance of Saugatuck although there is no sidewalk until you get to the roundabout. We all enjoyed your place.

My In-Laws arrived before we did. When we called to see if they made it in ok they said the place was beautiful. Once we arrived, walked in, and was absolutely beautiful. The scenery was beautiful and the house was well decorated. Would highly recommend and considering rebooking for next year.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.
