Jo and Peter welcomed us with true smiles and warmth. They are a lovely couple with a beautiful homely home. Our bed was extremely comfy and having tea/coffee in the room was a bonus. The shower was clean and had great pressure. Jo makes her own bread 🍞 so I had a delicious piece of toast and an enjoyable chat with Peter over breakfast. We were lucky to be able to park just around the corner and their home is a stones throw from 4 pubs, all with free 🎶 🎵 music. Our favourite, the Jenny Lind is at the end of their rode.🤩👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

Our stay was amazing, Nick & Liz are amazing hosts they made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. Nothing was too much trouble, our continental breakfast was lovely along with the delicious marmalade and granola made by Liz. Our room was warm and the luxury bedding made for a perfect nights sleep. All in all a perfect place to stay when visiting Eastbourne and we will be returning.

This was the perfect place for our NYE trip with friends. We were 3 couples and a dog and it accommodated us perfectly. For us the open plan kitchen, dinning area and lounge were what made it. Perfect for hanging out, cooking, and chatting. We enjoyed lots of muddy walks, including a nice trail to the pub in Clayhill, which we also loved. It was a proper traditional, old school pub. Would definitely love to come back to stay in Boxwood again. Thank you, Tim.

Such a lovely holiday home - beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and a stone’s throw from the beach (be prepared for a steep climb to get there!) Rye is an 8 minute drive away and you can park for the whole day for £2.50 in Rope Street car park which is a 5 minute walk from the high street. Fran is an excellent host - friendly, responsive and the little personal touches within the house mean a lot. We would definitely recommend and would definitely book again.

We were a family of two couples, two children and a baby, plus a grandmother. Anna was a great host, always available both before and during our stay. Her place is lovely, warm and welcoming. The walk to the beach is easy and at low tide we found lots of shells. For those without a car, there is a regular bus service from the train station in Rye that take just a few minutes, and there is private parking for two cars. This was our second visit, and it was just as good as the first. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely couple of days, Linda was there to greet us when we arrived and answered our questions about the area and where things were. The room was clean and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast items supplied made it really easy in the mornings and the flapjacks on our arrival were delicious with a cup of tea. It is in a quiet area but a short walk from the beach and shops. If we were in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Liebe Jeannette, wir haben uns bei dir sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück wurde uns gerichtet und serviert, einfach aber vollkommen ausreichend, und dazu noch ein nettes Gespräch. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle who stayed in Alex's bnb when I was getting married last weekend. They were delighted with the accommodation, it was lovely clean and cozy and filled with treats! Alex herself was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for them during their stay. They wanted me to send their big thanks for making this exciting weekend extra special! I also wanted to say that Alex was really great with communication and directions provided perfect details of where to go and always made herself available. Apartment was spotless. Everything was there we needed. The most wonderful experience was sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and sunset over the sea. Perfect location to chill. Gemma was always on hand if needed and was always helpful and cheery. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at the Design House. The house has fantastic interiors, whilst also being very welcoming and cosy. Marshall was an absolute gem and allowed us to store our bags at the house before the official check in time and also gave us extra time on the Sunday, which was much appreciated! She also gave my dog the warmest welcome, so definitely a dog friendly stay! Would happily stay here again, as the location is so close to the beach and great restaurants.

Tam and Ed were absolutely wonderful hosts! very helpful and went out of their way to assist us couldn’t have been friendlier! The place is beautiful and in a wonderful spot would highly recommend it. We are definitely going to come back well worth the trip from Sydney to go there!

The Studio exceeded our expectations, the room and bathroom were excellent. Spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. All of our needs were more than catered for, and kitchen appliances and even a washing machine were provided. Anyone staying here would want for nothing. Roma is a fantastic host, we can't recommend her highly enough and we would stay with her anytime. Steve & Anne.

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s Airbnb. The room was well presented and above the garage at the end of the garden. It was extremely peaceful. All the boxes were ticked for how I measure an Airbnb. Good shower, comfortable bed with decent pillows and a very attentive host who had arranged some fresh flowers for the room and thought about what to leave for breakfast. I would be happy to recommend Kate’s Airbnb to anyone and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kate. Bill Herbert

Very welcoming and kind, private space on top floor with own bathroom, comfortable and warm. The location is great, plenty parking and a very relaxed environment.

Amazing place to stay. The first class Victorian train carriage / lounge was truly special, a lovely location for breakfast. Everything very cosy and clean. Simon was a great host too, friendly, helpful, welcoming.

Lovely place. We stayed over on a break away from the kids. It's not as close to the beach as we thought but still managed to drive there. A few rooms in the property and we had a lovely sleep on an amazing mattress. The shower was tops! Darren was on hand for whatever we needed and the place was lovely & clean. We made use of the sauna and hot tub which was definitely needed to relax us. Thank you for having us.

I had a fantastic stay at Caroline and Gary’s place! They are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. Since the countryside roads can get quite dark at night, Caroline even came out with a flashlight to greet us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their home is absolutely charming, full of English countryside character. If you're looking for a classic English cottage experience, this is the place to book! Their adorable dogs also made our stay even better—Pixie, the little Chihuahua, is super cute, and Neo, the friendly Labrador, is full of energy and hospitable. At night, they were completely quiet, so there’s no need to worry about them disturbing your sleep. Caroline is also a great cook! She prepared delicious homemade brownies for us, which was such a lovely surprise. In the morning, she prepare breakfast for us，making our short stay extra special. I only stayed for one night due to my travel plans, but I would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend ！

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

I would absolutely love to stay here again. Lovely couple and a really lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location to stay after a wedding in Ticehurst. The room was absolutely spotless! Lovely comfy beds to sleep in and fresh linen. It was exactly what we needed. The breakfast was best Ive had in a long long time and lots of choice! 10/10 Worth every penny. I had the most relaxing and wonderful stay! The countryside, the cosy homely house, the fresh bread and honey from their hive, the comfy bed, the warm welcome, the birdsong…. and the kittens, together create a home from home feeling. This is the perfect stay for peace, relaxation and connection with nature. Cannot recommend this host enough!
