This is the third time staying at Lookers Legacy and just as wonderful as the last visits. The ground was saturated from the rain so long walks were not easy although we did take a lovely walk around the vineyard. A walk to The Ferry Inn pub is a must especially with the log fire and delicious food. We enjoyed some lovely evenings in the cottage with the fire roaring and some cheesy Christmas films watching the sunset across the vineyard. What more could one ask for!

A stunning property that's more than we had hoped for. Ideal location that's a walk away from the train and bus routes and Pevensey castle. Very clean and very easy to book with all the necessary information provided up front. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

On arrival we immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds were large and very child friendly. My grandson chose this area to do his 4.5Km charity walk during his time here. The jacuzzi was a big hit. The house was also large and accommodated 6 adults and five children between 5 yrs to 10 yrs. with ease. A modern kitchen was very well equipped with good quality items, it was very large and easy to work in, even the larder was well stocked with essentials. You could tell that Tim, our host, takes pride in the house, furnishing it with many William Morris fabrics, amongst others, tasteful art, plus original wooden features etc. Crisp linen and decent size bathroom towels. Tim, an all round lovely chap, popped in to welcome us with a gift of local produce from a local farm shop.....the raspberry jam was to die for. games and books were aplenty also. We are hoping to return again. I will, without a doubt recommend Tim's property.

We stayed at Bokes barn for three nights in June 2024. It was for a reunion of friends. Six guys from school. Who were mates from eleven years old until twenty one years old when four of the crew went off to Australia and Canada. And the other two settled into married life. This was the first time we had been reunited for fifty two years. The barn was perfect. Six couples. Six en-suite rooms. It was spotlessly clean Extremely well equipped. With high end equipment and furnishings. Everything worked We all had the best time. We had fun in the games room I am happy to recommend this venue to anyone. You would be hard pressed to find somewhere better. Trevor Howell

Wendy-Jane was an exceptional host, her home was beautiful and very cozy, with a gorgeous and very friendly cat. We loved the surroundings and the scenery. Wendy had a stunning selection of books on her shelves and CDs in her collection. The home was perfect for us, and we would love to return. The hot tub is an great addition and it was lovely to chill out in at the end of the day. There's lots to do in the surrounding area with a very charming in right opposite the house and another pub down the road with an abadondoned castle next door. And a short drive from both Hastings and Eastbourne made for a perfect weekend get away!!

Pekes is a perfect weekend get away. Set in Sussex countryside far from the madding crowd. With facilities on the door: swimming pool and jacuzzi. We stayed at Tudor View which has stunning views and was a comfortable living space for the five of us. Thank you Pekes Team.

We loved our stay at the house. Our highlight of the stay was watching a movie on the massive projector screen and making use of the hot tub. Would thoroughly recommend.

We completely agree and echo all of the reviews, a fabulous weekend in faultless accommodation and in an idyllic location. A perfect garden for our dog Archie, and for breakfast with the sheep opposite! Highly recommend the Stable, and thank you Sally.

We stayed for a month while work was being done on our own house. It was a real home from home, with everything we needed - the kitchen was very well-equipped. A lovely, characterful property, right in the centre of town! Beds were very comfortable and the living space was very generous. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic accomodation. We loved staying here. Louise was so friendly and welcoming. The accomodation was perfect as it was single storey and we had my elderly mother with us. Both bathrooms were wet rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was even a washing machine. We had 2 dogs and the enclosed garden was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. We loved that Louise was so relaxed with dogs staying too.

Highly recommend this absolutely beautiful place, one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at . So beautifully designed . It’s also in a perfect location to discover Rye . Peaceful and yet in the centre of town . We didn’t want to leave !

beautiful space in a wonderful rural setting. Great home away from home with all the mod cons you could need.Jan Ernst and Vanessa were also very friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make us feel at home. highly recommend and would stay again if we are ever in the area.

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. What a stunning find! Perfect to get the family together, plenty of space and a big garden. Low beams in the bedrooms but does had to the charm especially with the fairy lights wrapped them. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

If you’ve ever fancied staying in a stately home and don’t mind a bit of dust, this is the place for you. With slightly faded grandeur but retaining its homeliness and charm, this house is set in large grounds with lovely views. Lots of places to visit nearby. If staying in winter, the log fire in the Jacobean fireplace works a treat!

I must admit I was somewhat worried after booking and reading previous reviews but my worries were unfounded. the chalet was lovely and I didn't think it was dated. the kitchen had everything we needed, the chalet was homey and comfortable. There were extras like a clothes horse to hang wet towels and costumes, games, hand soaps and cream etc. My only slight niggle is that wifi isn't included. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lyn's chalet and would stay again!

The caravan was the biggest and most luxurious caravan we have stayed in. It was better than described, very well equipped, and the best location on site - very peaceful and great views, we loved watching the sheep! If we come back to Parkdean Camber Sands again, we are booking this caravan!

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Stunning, beautiful, and peaceful location. The pool was warm enough and we had a great time despite some inclement weather! Maria was extremely helpful and left clear instructions, we had a relaxing holiday. Thanks so much Maria!

Carrie is a fantastic host and we enjoyed our stay at her place. The cottage has everything you need for a long family stay. And families with young kids will enjoy extra stuff like high chairs and toys. There is also a nice private garden and the bbq area.
