Tammy was extremely helpful and personable before, during, and after our trip. The house accommodated our group of 6 perfectly, and we will be back over the summer to be able to take better advantage of the bayou access.

This was the perfect house for our family! We made countless memories in our short time here! The house looks just like the pictures and was C-L-E-A-N!!! I honestly couldn't find any area that could be cleaned any better. I never bathe in a bathtub that isn't my own, if needed I would not have any issues bathing here. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths for 6 people. The master bed was comfortable, the kids said theirs were good also. There were plenty of games and kid items if needed also. We had pizza delivered one night with no issues. The kayaks were so much fun and we fished a lot too. The main attraction was the swing on the big tree, we laughed so hard on this swing and loved every minute of it! The neighbors were nice and didn't mind that my kids walked on their property (with permission) to fish. Linda was very proactive in messaging me, even giving me a weather update on my way in. Would recommend 10/10!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this historic gem! The home, built in 1910, exudes charm and character, which made our visit feel extra special. While it maintains its historic vibe, the kitchen is beautifully modern, spotless, and fully updated—a seamless blend of old and new. The bed was incredibly comfortable, too. The host was beyond accommodating, truly going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendly demeanor made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location couldn’t be better—close to LSU’s campus, historic downtown Baton Rouge, and the river. It was the ideal base for visiting family and attending an LSU game. We can’t recommend this place enough and will be staying again in the near future! Thanks, Jim!

The house is tucked back between two houses with a narrow driveway, but once we found it, it was what we were looking for. The house is smaller but very open and i liked the colors chosen in the house, to me it felt like an island house more suited for Hawaii or someplace very near a beach; big fan. There are some features that are bit dated, but nothing I would complain about. I would recommend this place, and I would stay here again if ever in the area. I only reached out to Jonathan a couple of times, and each time he was very quick to respond. Everything you would want from a host.

The house was stunning and spacious! I wish I could have been able to hang my clothes up in the closet in the master bedroom instead of the other guest room but it all worked out. We would definitely stay here again! Everything was super clean, received plenty of communication on the home and surroundings. The area was super nice and easy to navigate. Extremely relaxing and felt at home! 💗

Cute house! Flexible host! We were trying to book a house we could use for Christmas since my daughter-in-law is due in January and couldn’t travel. This house had plenty of room and space for dogs. In the end our plans changed and the dogs didn’t come, but great back yard and lower family area. Kitchen and bathrooms are nicely remodeled and modern. Had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

One of the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed at! Fabulous location and would highly recommend for anyone coming to the area. Hope to stay there again!

Nice clean place to stay. When you get off of work. Had everything you need A/C worked great even had a back-up A/C, full size refrigerator and washer and dryer. Great parking rights in front of room and front porch. Hosts are good honest people.

The home was just as described. So private and peaceful ☺️ The host was very responsive, and friendly. I definitely will be back for another staycation☺️ 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍🏽

great place to see the stars and listen to the frogs while in the hot tub. the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a while.

We loved how cozy it was and that it stayed chilly inside with all the humidity outside! There was plenty of noises going on outside scratching the side of the house but nothing too un bearable for us. They had accessible waters for guest, which I loved. The home was just so cozy and we wished we could’ve took it with us!

Katherine‘s home was beyond our expectations. She puts so much detail and thought, into creating an artistic and inviting space. Great place for kids and adults alike with a huge lot for kids to play. There were lots of activities for them to do including board games, badminton and volleyball. The water was absolutely amazing. Waterfront at its finest and very private. The beds were extremely comfortable. There were fans and ACs in every room which we didn’t need because the weather was perfect. We LIVED on the screened in porch which was FABULOUS. We enjoyed a much needed weekend away and we will definitely be going back.
