We've stayed in this area several times and David and Johanna's property was the most secluded with the additional of a large yard, tidal pond, small private beach area and new dock. The beds and linens were great and the heating system top notch since we were there when a cold front came through. The kitchen was the best stocked we've seen and we had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal. It is clear that the home still has a few renovations in the works but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay.

A great house - we used this AirBNB for our groomsmen and bridesmaids, the house was perfect for the size of our group. Overall a great stay. The place was very clean and was set-up perfectly. Very spacious. Thank you to the owners. 5 stars for sure!

Had a terrific stay at Karen's place! It's hard to beat the location—right on the edge of an inlet from the Chesapeake, with neighboring houses nearby but still felt relatively secluded. The house layout was perfect for us, and we had all the amenities we needed. Karen was super responsive and friendly. We hope to stay again when the weather gets warmer!

Landon was a fantastic host-very responsive and the home was accurate to the description. Our kids absolutely loved the amenities-the trampoline, treehouse, swing, crab pots, and fire pit all got a ton of use! There were also tons of games and books for the kids, and the home was very cozy, with gorgeous views for the adults. We will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here during the winter while we looked for a place to live. It was perfect! Quiet and peaceful yet super close to all restaurants and stores. We had some snowfall and the views were stunning! Once it warmed up we even got to see some wild life in the woods behind us. Lovely huge porch! Lots of space in garden escape. Can bring the entire family and more!!! Nice big driveway for easy turned around. Patrick was beyond responsive for all my questions.Whether is was just informing be as something as simple as an Internet outage in the area or we had one situation with an unsure smell. Patrick acted immediately on the problem and it was resolved within 2 hours from start to finish. Cannot recommend this place enough!

An extraordinary place to rest & recharge. The views, the comfort of the home, and the gorgeous walking trails, through woods & beach are a perfect combination. Everything we needed & then some.

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

Clean, private space in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Extremely kind and responsive hosts. Really appreciated their hospitality and kindness, it was a relief and a huge help to me since I was unfamiliar with the area.

Terri is a wonderful host. She’s has hosted me a few times over years and always been a great experience. The space is always clean and welcoming.

This was our second stay! A most serene and beautiful spot. We love the little apartment, it has everything we need. Vickie and Scott are wonderful hosts! They even had a tiny Christmas tree in the apartment for us! We will be back for a longer stay in the summer.

Pat and Nell were such wonderful hosts. It was the perfect mix of function for a nearby swim meet at St Mary’s and relaxation like a mini vacation. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are nice and the shower is wonderful. Although we didn’t use the laundry it was so nice to have accessible units so we could dry my son’s swim suit and towels in between sessions. The location is just beautiful, filled with lots of history which Pat was so gracious to share with my boys and I. Highly recommend.

The apartment was nice and clean. Perfect for a short weekend in the area. We had no issues, would stay there again.

A wonderfully cozy spot right on Back Creek with a beautiful backdrop of Zahniser's, and Calvert Marina. Love the small town East Coast vibes. There are plenty of great little local shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, as well as the Calvert Marine museum. I would gladly stay here again. Hopefully longer next time. Thank you to both Anthony and Shannon for being wonderful hosts.

I had a lovely time during my stay. The home was neat, clean and located in the heart of town. Dayna was proactive and responsive. And I look forward to my next visit. Thank you again.
