This property is truly an oasis. It has a great open floor plan with cathedral ceilings that gave us the feeling of having the outdoors inside. We had plenty of space, wonderful natural lighting, great sitting areas/views, and great amenities. The decor and color schemes are soothing and calming. Vernique is very aware of regional/cultural differences and communicates and educates guests about nuances about her property and the island. The property was also stocked with anything a beach goer could imagine, so we had comfortable chairs, great toys (boogey boards, swimming masks, and more) to entertain ourselves with on the beach. This was the first time we did not use a resort on the island and it was so worth it! After we hung out at the beach all day we enjoyed spending time in the loft watching movies and relaxing. This is a bona fide vacation home. If this property had a pool, we would not have gone to the beach at all. This property is one that I will keep on my re-visit list.

Michael was an awesome host, straight forward, fast to respond and helpful. He had a ton of recs. We loved this space, for chilling, grilling, hanging in the pool. It’s only a short walk from the little shops and restaurants, also if you want to get a cab to go anywhere on the island. Close to airport too. Kitchen was huge with tons of utensils to cook and whip up anything, even a juicer, blender or air fryer! Charlotte Amalie was safe and the shop owners are really friendly. The dipping pool and deck was great for hanging out after a sandy beach day and talking at night. I would totally book again.

We had an incredible stay at this St. John gem! If you're looking for a private, authentic island experience, this is it. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel right at home. The house itself is a charming rustic island home with breathtaking views. We loved having two separate living spaces, perfect for our group of two couples. The provided coolers, chairs, and floaties were a fantastic bonus, and we truly felt like we were living like locals. Plus, it was wonderfully affordable for all the amenities and views. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here, location close to town and a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed our stay!

Was a great place to stay for two people. Felt secluded out on the deck at night with all the plants and trees. The bed is extremely comfy and big. Very nice having ac at night and the full kitchen is great if you feel like cooking your own meal once and awhile. I’ll def be looking to stay here again in the future!

Incredible energy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and secluded from the rest of the world. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to escape on a small island, look no further. Grab a golf cart from Rachel’s rentals and enjoy the freedom of exploring water island! Ingrid was a delight in helping us with anything we needed. Everyone that was working/staying on the property was like minded and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back:)
