Our family of four plus two grandmothers stayed for a college graduation weekend. Tara’s place is exactly as the photos and we felt right at home. It is on a busy street so we told Ubers to pick up at the back entrance. We felt there was very minimal traffic noise and slept very well in the EXTREMELY comfortable beds. Note it is a tri-level living situation so if there are mobility issues consider the stairs. That said, we had two grandmothers (in their 80s) and they were fine. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had all the essentials to make breakfast in the mornings. The location was good for us to sight see and also attend the graduation. I would highly recommend Tara’s home!

Outstanding townhouse and one we hope to return to. Two big bedrooms - both stylish. Lovely ground floor and kitchen and fun basement/rumpus room/man cave. Walked to king street, caught the metro to dc, short walk to two supermarkets and loads of nice close restaurants. Very friendly host. Nicely recently renovated. Too marks from me.

Lara's home was perfect. It was really quiet, comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. Lara and I were in constant contact and she was very helpful with local suggestions. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town...that is if it isn't already booked!

My wife and I stayed at Sam’s place for a month while looking for some land. It was a great place, felt right at home. Good kitchen and washing machine. Thank you Sam!

The location is great for exploring Alexandria. You can walk down King Street or take the free trolley. Dining options all along the way and on side streets. The King Street Metro station is also across the street and provides easy access to Washington DC sightseeing-- National Mall, monuments, museums, etc. 1/2 hour drive to George Washington's Mount Vernon. The personnel were always friendly and responsive. A concierge was on hand to recommend places to see in the area or places to eat. The front desk had something special for patrons every day-- cookies, popcorn, a special gift for mother's day and sparkling wine, etc. The gym was adequate and stocked with towels and water. Parking was free for 2 vehicles and they are very clear on how to get to it, as it is around the corner and accessible from the Hilton area. The resort was quiet-- we did not hear any neighbors, no people being loud in the halls/atrium, etc. Getting into Wyndham just look for the sign off of King St.

This townhouse was a great value for the price. Our stay was for over four months. it was adequately stocked with dishes, utensils, and linens. There is plenty of shopping in the area and fast food. My husband found it an easy commute to Fort Belvoir. We felt right at home and we would stay there again. Linda was a responsive host.

This is a great place to stay very comfortable, host was very communicative. We got a notification that we forgot our phone before I even notice. Thank you so much would definitely stay again.

The townhome had an amazingly clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. We had everything we needed including a modern upscale kitchen with new appliances. We would book it again next time we visit Alexandria.

We had a wonderful stay at Herry's. The house was just as described, with very cute decor and clear lables on how to find everything. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials, the bathrooms were clean, and it was a great place to stay. If we had any questions, Herry was very responsive. The area is also fantastic, with just a short walk to King Street!

The Airbnb was nice and clean. The host was very responsive and I would definitely stay there again, my next time I am in Alexandria

Loved staying here. Selling point was being a stone’s throw from the metro train. Having a parking space was key to us as well and it was a secure and convenient location. House was great. Very clean and nice as listed. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Great place for our stay. I would highly recommend. Just a short walk to food and cold beverages. About 10-15 minute walk to King street Metro. The home had everything we needed for our stay. I didn’t read it in the description but doesn’t mean that it’s not there. All the bedrooms are upstairs so may not be great for older folks or people with recent injuries/surgeries. My mom’s a 90 yr old in pretty good shape and she handled it just fine. Just something to consider. That being said, I believe most of the homes in this area are going to be the same way.

Great base to explore DC from. We were a bit worried we would be in suburbia but it was a great blend of being lively enough but also a calming nice place to be, far enough from DC to be relaxing, close enough to the metro to get wherever we wanted. David was always responsive and helpful. Would recommend and we'll be back.

We loved staying at Floyd’s home! His attention to detail and design are impressive, right down to a comfy dog bed for our black lab! We suggest labeling the light switches and adding a dog water dish( we forgot ours) for four legged travelers. We’ll be back! Thank you!

My stay was great, no complaints!

My group had a great stay at Laurie and Collin’s place. The Potomac was in a great location and the home looked just like the pictures. It was well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. They were also great communicators!!! We had some issues getting into the place and they were able to help us remotely and fix the system issue right away. We also asked them a question late at night expecting to get an answer tomorrow and they responded within minutes. Collin came the next day to help address our issues. He was very polite and quickly handled everything in the house. I would definitely recommend this listing and will look to use it again the next time I’m in the area!

Nice place to stay and we stayed for a month without any issues. Comes with so many white and clean towels, we were very happy about choosing the place as our temporary home.

Best airbnb experience so far. Everything was great, clean rooms, very safe place to stay with family and kids. And for sure our host Tech is the best! He did everything to make our stay comfortable and feel like home. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Daniel has a hidden gem ! It was my and my boyfriend’s first time in DC and this place was perfect! It’s about 20 mins from Downtown and it’s located by a lot of other amazing shops. The place was very clean, we opted for cooking and Daniel had mostly everything including basic ingredients. The Washer/Dryer and Space heaters were definitely a favorite! & we also were able to extend our checkout time by a few hours with no problem! We will definitely be back ! Thank you

This is a great place to stay with littles, young kids, or anyone looking for a peaceful suburban retreat with easy access to public transportation to take in all DC offers. The beds were so comfortable after a long day of adventures. The tub was very helpful for bath time with young ones. There is a lot in walking distance with a less than 10 min walk to the free bus to get you to the metro in another 10 mins and you are on your way. Apple street parking and a quiet street with even a playground a few houses up. Host was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again!

I'm a little conflicted writing this review. I dont want to share this place with anyone and not ever have it unavailable to us! AMAZING place, well stocked! with all basics+. The description is less than adequate but you wouldn't believe it until you actually go here. Walkable for all of Old Town, metro is 3 blocks with a 10 minute ride to DCA. Trader Joes around corner. Coffee maker w coffee, everything you need for a stay of any length. Host was/is amazing, responsive and extremely patient with stupid questions(don't ask how I know that) 5 stars isn't enough for this Old Town Gem. Thanks for great place!

This house was great. The location was perfect. It's very close to 495, restaurants and other activities. Parking and getting into the house were a breeze. The house was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials. Gilbert was very responsive to messages before our arrival. Once we were there we didn't need anything from him but he did message to be sure that everything was going ok. Another plus is that there was not a laundry list of things to do before checkout. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat for any future visits.

Perfect for 3 adults. Three bedrooms so we each had our own room. Beds were very comfortable. The 1/2 bath downstairs was very handy! Kitchen was large and well stocked with basics. The stand alone water cooler was a huge bonus! The full bath with 2 sinks was large enough to have a garden bathtub and a separate shower. 2 sinks allowed 2 people to get ready seethe same time!Having an assigned parking spot was the icing on the cake! We could come and go at any time without worrying about parking. Definitely enjoyed our stay at this property!
