Staffordshire : séjours à la ferme

A few friends and I visit this place twice a year to hangout and play some games on the enormous dining table. We've done this for a few years now and wouldn't look anywhere else. Everything is always really clean and tidy, the area is absolutely stunning and quiet and Paul is always great. Can't fault it.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the cottage and it was perfect for our family. The cottage was so warm and cosy. It had everything we needed and was a home away from home. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings on a farm. Would definitely 100% recommend to anyone.

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The property is in a quiet location on a working organic farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. Locally there are a number of picturesque villages, places to visit and country pubs. The property is clean and comfortable. Karen and Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Karen and Jonathan and hopefully we will be able to stay again. We had such a lovely few days away. It was very cosy and we loved the private outdoor area, spending our evenings relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit. Emma was very responsive throughout and made us feel very welcome, leaving us milk to use and marshmallows to toast on the fire. Great location to explore iron bridge and local walks, lots of pubs nearby. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed the beautiful stay here, it was so quiet and peaceful. The views were incredible, we enjoyed seeing the sheep. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were all high quality and the bath was lovely.

The barns are absolutely stunning with lovely views, and it's such a wonderful space for friends to gather. We had an amazing weekend, and the final touches added were perfect. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic weekend at the Rill Cottage, the cottage itself was just beautiful my partner & I loved the cosy log burner & our furry babies loved the nice long walks on the doorstep. We would definitely recommend this cottage & will be sure to return. Thanks again Matt & Lynne

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

Michael & Karen's place was perfect for our weekend on the Churnet Valley Railway - a lovely walk down to Froghall station. The Airbnb itself was clean, cosy and quiet. Very grateful for being provided with some kitchen essentials (the eggs are delicious!) and plenty of toiletries as well. Highly recommend!

If you dont mind bringing along supplies this is a perfect place for a weekend away in Peaks - great affordable substitute for camping in a lovely location. Katy was a fantastic host and I would recommend visiting her tea shop! Dont forget to bring pound coins for power!

My family and I are regular visitors to Alton towers to attend the running weekend and would usually stay in one of the resorts hotels. We were unable to book a room this time around but I am glad this was the case. Jenny's accommodation turned out to be a much better alternative. The place was immaculately clean, easy to find, peaceful and spacecious for my family of 3. Jenny was a very friendly host and we hope to stay here again next year.

We had an amazing weekend stay at Dunwood View! With a group of seven friends, it was wonderful to have both the space and privacy we needed. The house is beautifully renovated to a high standard and exceptionally well-equipped. Having eight single beds and a large dining table where we could all gather made our stay even more special. The cozy lounge provided the perfect spot to relax, while the spectacular views and fun games annex added to the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would definitely book again.

Absolutely brilliant place. Chris and Pru are amazing hosts, such lovely people and so easy to talk too! The cottage was perfect, the location was also great. Had such a great time, would so love to come back!

Good value for money, lovely, clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a one night stay after a wedding at the bridal barn. Great communication from the host, and The yummy brownies left for us were a lovely touch. The bed was comfy and my brother slept well on the sofa bed in the other room. The heating came on in the night which was a bit annoying and couldn’t figure out how to turn it off, but other than that really wonderful. Thank you

What a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful village. The property is absolutely perfect, so clean and very well equipped. Thoughtfully decorated for Christmas with some gifts under the tree for us. A lovely, friendly pub in the village that does a great Sunday roast. I highly recommend staying at Sam’s place.

Richard’s listing was absolutely stunning. While the photos already make the place look great, they don’t do it justice—it’s even more breathtaking in person. The property is perfectly situated right by an incredible walking trail. Inside, the space is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches, impeccably clean, and offers spectacular views that make every moment feel special. Richard himself was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

The place is beautiful and cosy. set in a lovely location in the hills right next to some cattle and sheep. The roads are steep and thin but if you drive with caution they were easy enough to navigate and it just adds to the whole vibe of the location. Highly recommended for a family of 4 like ours and there are some great attractions within a short drive

Caroline was very helpful and friendly from the outset. We hired Caroline’s place for a surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday and Caroline let us check in slightly early to decorate which allowed us to create a perfect surprise - we were really grateful. Caroline was communicative throughout and helped with recommending a lovely local restaurant (The Red House) - we had an amazing meal. Caroline also recommended a taxi company who were excellent. The granary itself was a beautiful big space and very well equipped. The kitchen area is stunning with a gorgeous terrace overlooking fields and horses. I would love to come back in the summer to make the most of this! The Granary is so comfortable and cosy with plenty of space! The bedrooms are beautiful and very luxurious, it was brilliant to have an en suite with each room. Our stay at the Granary was very special in a peaceful setting. Caroline is an excellent host and on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to stay again!

We enjoyed a really relaxing long weekend at Atlow Mill, which is the perfect location for a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is immaculate, comfortable and stylish. The kitchen had all the equipment we could need. We enjoyed a scenic walk over the fields to a local pub and reservoir. James’ communication was excellent, always really responsive and helpful with a flexible check in and check out. I’d highly recommend Atlow Mill as a brilliant place to stay for a quiet weekend with friends or family. We would love to return. Thank you!

Peaceful location, great with the paddock where we could walk the doggo. nice and close to lots of pubs and easy short drives to loads of places. Paul recommended plenty to do and place to eat. Great host, super friendly and looking forward to going again.
