My husband and I were most appreciative of our suite, Waterside. It was beautifully decorated and homely, offering a spotlessly clean environment and bathroom. Fabulous toiletries, fluffy towels and comfy bed. We enjoyed having tea making facilities too, thank you. Breakfast was so good! Karen and her husbands home is welcoming, with 360 landscape of the glorious countryside. Such a lovely experience, thank you so very much.

We had a wonderful stay at Hill Too Farm. Susan was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The B&B is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast really good. Most of all Wincle is a very special part of the world, beautiful and wild… and we were pointed to a real gem of a pub, The Ship, for dinner which was a real treat. We will be back!

Sarah and her farm was perfect. Following some wet camping they helped wash and dry all our clothes, even let us air our tents under cover. Cannot recommend this stay enough, the full English in the morning was also excellent!

We were attending a wedding at the Mill Barns wedding venue. Karen’s B&B was fantastic and they were incredible hosts. Great communication. If you are attending a wedding at this venue you will need to pre book your taxis.

Big THANK YOU to Polly, John, and your gorgeous dogs Misty and Spud for a wonderful 3 night stay, they were walm and welcoming and put on lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms were large, clean and decorated with vintage pieces. The home was full of wonderful unique picture's and pieces of art and it was so lovely to walk around and take it all in. The grounds are beautiful and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the pool, which was fabulous. What can I say I suspect not enough words to explain how Good Maggie and Andy are as hosts, the accommodation was excellent , arriving was easy and Maggie greeted us and showed us around the accommodation and how lovely it is , the breakfast was just so spot on plenty to eat and set us up for the day , we popped up for a family bbq and Maggie insisted they drop us off and us to ring to be picked up , I can see why Maggie is a super host , I would say a super super host . We will return . Loved our two day stay .

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

We had an amazing stay at The Dinney to attend a wedding nearby. Host was flexible and accommodating. Location was stunning, as was the house. Room was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Loved the amount of nature/wildlife and animals on the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again in future. Thank you!

Linda is so welcoming, my friend and I had a very comfortable stay. The house felt very safe and we could have asked Linda for anything! We would love to visit again if in the area.

I booked a couple of nights in Glencoe House almost entirely because the location was handy for me, so I was pleasantly surprised by just how nice a stay it was. The owner, Dee, was both very friendly and accommodating - I had to leave extremely early in the morning both days, so she made sure there was breakfast available that I could just heat up. There were also a lot of little thoughtful touches, like a fresh slice of delicious fruit cake and dish of fruit left in my room both days. Finally, I have to give very high praise to the bed, which was incredibly comfortable! I would absolutely reccommend this BnB to anyone needing to stay in Burton.

Daniel was a fantastic host along with his wife Henrietta. Vey knowledgeable about local attractions and drives to take. Room was decorated lovely and a comfy bed with beautiful linen and cosy quilt. Fabulous cooked breakfast by Daniel. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here we booked another night.

Lovely little rooms above a quaint little pub. An extremely likeable area and everything in sight looked well maintained and looked after. Food T the Saracen’s Head I cannot fault and service was excellent

Comfy bed, hot shower and a friendly reception from Anne and other staff in the tea room made for a perfectly peaceful night away; exactly what we were after. A great location for interesting walks from the door - we walked down the valley to Matlock Bath and then on to Matlock via High Tor. Bonsall itself has plenty to enjoy. Superb service at breakfast - delicious food served quickly. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Georgina, and all the staff at the pub, were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel at home. The food was delicious - extremely high quality and cooked to perfection.

A lovely homely AirBnB which I could not recommend any more. It had a lovely location and view out of the top bedroom window. Both Di and Tony are lovely people and very helpful. I will most definitely look to book again.

Andrew and Sue were very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel right at home and gave us ideas of places to see in the local area. The apartment was perfect for a couple and have shared access of the back garden with great views of the local cows and bunnies. Spotless and great location. They were very helpful and gave great advice about the rides at Alton Towers and places to visit in the Peak District. Will stay there again next time we want a base for the area

Our stay at Leanda and Nigel’s place was brilliant. We felt very much at home and our hosts were very friendly, helpful and communicative. The room and bathroom were immaculate and very well equipped. The breakfast was fantastic and we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Nigel gave us some great tips on where to walk and the local area. We enjoyed a lovely evening in their beautiful garden overlooking the countryside. Our dog was also made to feel very much at home and was given a very warm welcome. Thank you both so much and we will definitely be back to this wonderful part of the country.

The location is very good, quiet, next to an art village with many interesting shops. The room was very good, comfortable, clean, and very enjoyable.

Lovely peaceful room right in the heart of Bakewell - you wouldn’t know you were steps away from the town though as it’s so quiet! Comfortable beds and everything we needed was provided. Sarah was really helpful and responded right away to questions. Breakfast was amazing too - served just down the road by a really lovely lady who made us feel so welcome, and lots of delicious local produce to choose from. Only minor niggle would be that the WiFi was a little patchy - not a problem for us but if you needed to connect to video calls or something for work you might struggle. Otherwise everything was wonderful and we will definitely be staying again!

We have just had a two night stay in this superb bed and breakfast. The hosts Nigel and Leanda were so lovely, friendly, and welcoming, they had thought of absolutly everything. Our room was really good, large, beautifully furnished, homemade cake in our room, large white Dorma towels, comfortable bed and a stunning view. Breakfast was superb, cereals, croissants, toast, fruit and full English cooked (including a vegetarian option) with local produce by Nigel. Our cockerpoo was very welcome, there was a dog wash bath outside with hot water, shampoo, towel and dog dressing gown. This is a truly wonderful place to stay. we will be returning very soon.
