Absolutely fabulous property, felt right at home an was lovely sat in the garden in the evening with the fire pit warming my legs.

We had 4 lovely quiet and very comfortable nights and 4 super sunny days in Lancaster Cottage. The cottage is a haven of comfort & peace to come back to after a busy day out exploring, and Katie has thought of everything to enable such a relaxing stay. The furnishings and decor are hygge and the planting up to, immediately outside the cottage and along and into the sheltered garden is just wonderful and so sympathetic to the beautiful cottages and stunning scenery. Using the parking space on the end worked out fine and everyone was very friendly. Having the village shop was a real bonus too, along with the various local history books and maps provided in the cottage. Coming early in the year, we struggled to find somewhere nearby for a reasonable evening meal on Wednesday, but that was a tiny thing. We cooked for ourselves on the other evenings in the well-equipped kitchen. A perfect place in a beautiful part of the country - thank you!

We had a lovely weekend stay. A beautiful, quiet location and the mill was immaculate and clean. Debb was very helpful on recommendations on where to visit and good eateries. We would happily stay again and recommend

My friends and I stayed for a wedding and this was a perfect location to stay. Thank you to Gurm, who warmly greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the house. Everything we needed was provided and Gurm kindly recommended some local restaurants. Sadly we didn't have time to use the pool table in the games room, but it was a great set up with a tv there too (perfect for a premier league match and beers with some pals).

The location is breathtaking and worth staying just for the beautiful views. The woodland behind the house is good for exploring too, with lots of wild birds, hares and is currently full of bluebells. Great property, we had a great stay, thank you.

The accommodation was great, clean & the hot tub outside really sets it apart from other places. Would definitely stay here again.

this was a wonderful place to stay so peaceful but so practical for going to Stoke. we stopped here as close to standon hall for a wedding, it was perfect so easy to get ready as the study was a great dress room with mirror and hanging rail. the place was lovely and clean, nicely decorated and modern. fantastic facilities. the host was very responsive with messages, Happy to answer questions, very informative about the local area. thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful home, highly recommend, I would stop again if coming to the area.

We had the best stay at Richard's house. It is in the most beautiful location with stunning views. The house is well equipped, has very comfy beds and everything you could need. Richard was so helpful and friendly. We all loved it and can't wait to return.

Upon arruval the property was Clean and Tidy, really felt welcoming and right at home. There was bread, milk and other little goodies to help wind down from a long drive. We took our Dog with us. There are lovely fields a short walk from the house which was convenient. Directly across from the property is a local convenience shop as well as a fish and chip shop which also did Pizza and kebabs. The reason for the visit was we went to Alton Towers whiche meant although it wasn't too close to the theme park, it was perfect for the price. The property was easy to maintain and the dishwasher was very handy. thank you for being a great host and we would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was booked for a colleague travelling from China and working in the UK for 3 weeks. We had a nice stay, and the place was welcoming, nice and clean. It was nice that we could book with a dog, we always travel together. Having access to a garden was also a plus. Thanks for the hosting, ✌️🙂

Great place to stay attending a wedding nearby - rooms gave us plenty of space & privacy with a good kitchen and lounge too!

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

Great location, in the city center, close to the train station. There is a grocery store in the same building. The appartment is great!

Beautiful place, was the perfect escape from the city for the weekend. Pip explained everything accurately and thoroughly and provided us with some logs for the fire which was great fun. The hut was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bath outside was perfect for a cold evening. Thanks Pip we had a great time!

Nice little weekend get away treat. Peaceful and enough space and the out side area was a great place to be especially with the hot tub. Comfy beds but sadly didn't get chance to visit any local restaurants. Would recommend to anyone needing a peaceful weekend.

We had a great stay. Perfect to just go somewhere and switch off for a night, surrounded by lovely fields, and hearing nothing but wildlife. We did get joined by a lot of froggy friends when it went dark (careful where you tread) but we actually found this lovely and part of the experience. Lovely place, SO relaxing, and very friendly responsive and helpful host, thank you for a great stay.

A weekend stay for an Anniversary. Such a peaceful getaway and the hot tub is a real treat. Walkable pubs and a farmshop across the road. The cabin that we stayed in was dog friendly which really helped. Special mention to Dom who helped light the hot tub fire for both of our nights whilst we were out and about. Would definitely stay again and absolute value for money!

We had an absolutely amazing 2-night stay at the cabin! Everything was so well arranged — from the cozy setup to all the thoughtful little details that made our stay super comfortable. The environment was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the unforgettable camping shower experience — it was unique and surprisingly fun! We also really appreciated the lovely communication; we were provided with all the information we needed, which made everything easy and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back❤️

What a beautiful, peaceful, hidden gem! We arrived early & the accommodation was ready. It was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy & linen beautiful. Lots of lovely touches that made it home from home. We loved every minute of our stay in Sarah's accommodation, everything was easy to find/use as her instructions were perfect. We will be recommending her place to family/friends for sure. If you are looking for a place to stay away from hustle & bustle this is it! Ideally located for walking/cycling, not far from the Dovedale stepping stones. Highly recommend for all 😃

We had a great time at the Deere Pod - the lodge was of a high standard and very clean, the hot tub area was fantastic and the location was peaceful and quiet. We visited Cadbury World, Drayton Manor and Birmingham and it was a good location for all with a car. We’d definitely recommend to family and friends for a relaxing break with the added bonus of the hot tub area.
