A few friends and I visit this place twice a year to hangout and play some games on the enormous dining table. We've done this for a few years now and wouldn't look anywhere else. Everything is always really clean and tidy, the area is absolutely stunning and quiet and Paul is always great. Can't fault it.

We came up to the area to visit our daughter and granddaughter in Macclesfield and had a wonderful stay at Mill House Farm Cottage. The accommodation, the farm, the location etc were perfect and Lynne couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfasts overlooking the garden, complete with occasional visits to the bird feeders by a woodpecker, started each day perfectly! We definitely hope to stay agian, next time we come to the area.

A lovely quiet location as a base to explore the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage is very cosy with everything you could want for your stay. Lots of walks right from the front door, including the Tissington Trail that takes you into Ashbourne, and a pub just minutes away on foot. Would definitely recommend.

Surprisingly easy to find, Emily's cottage is a lovely place with beautiful views. It was fully prepared for our arrival. We arrived very late due to delays but the contactless check in was smooth and the lovely hosts stayed in touch all the while. The property sleeps five but it felt cosy for our party of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers), but should be fine for a single family with little ones or couples. The location of the property is really good for walks and close to Thor's cave, but given the terrain the roads are narrow and you wouldn't want to be driving to and fro many times a day. This is true for most areas in the peak district. The was plenty of information available at be the property and the hosts were extremely responsive so guests won't be stuck for anything. All in all, it was a really nice stay!

The property is in a quiet location on a working organic farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. Locally there are a number of picturesque villages, places to visit and country pubs. The property is clean and comfortable. Karen and Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Karen and Jonathan and hopefully we will be able to stay again. We had a wonderful stay in Linda's chicken barn. The owner is so thoughtful with welcome notes and wine on our arrival. The barn is fully equipped with lots of towels, things for quick breakfast and hot drinks, real feel home and comfortable. The barn is well decorated with chicken farm items. We even found the perfect BBQ kits and equipment to have a BBQ on second day of our arrival, that was really blessing. The layout of the barn was a surprise, but we quickly grown love it. The location is beautiful and quiet. Many hiking routes at the footsteps. We are a couple with two grown-up boys. We found so much to do in the area, boys found lots of climbing (bouldering). Together we did hiking, walking through gorges, caves. These places are all in 40 minutes driving distance. Many thanks for the barn, the loving and caring you have put in.

The barns are absolutely stunning with lovely views, and it's such a wonderful space for friends to gather. We had an amazing weekend, and the final touches added were perfect. Highly recommended.

Such a magical stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The beautiful cake and bubbles waiting for us were such a thoughtful touch. The house was warm, cozy, and spotless. It was perfect for relaxing after a day of walking and exploring. Matt’s communication was excellent throughout, making everything so easy and stress-free. The location is fantastic, with so much to see and do nearby. Every detail had been carefully considered, and we felt really looked after. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Myself and my mum stayed at Wortley Barn for 2 nights for some walks and relaxation and what a stunning stay! We just wished we could have stayed for longer. The barn had absolutely everything we could have needed! It was warm & cosy, the sofa & bed were so so comfortable and the views that surround the barn are lovely! We hadn't realised there are some bungalows that run along side of the driveway/garden - so not as private as we first thought - however it did absolutely nothing to spoil our stay and still felt like we were completely alone. The little enclosed seating area in the garden was perfect for a morning coffee & a glass of fizz when the wind picked up. Would love to come again!

Cottage is lovely and cozy. Fireplace in the evening was perfect on a cold night or morning. View is spectacular as well. Kitchen is very well equipped and beds are comfy. We travelled with a baby and high chair and cot were provided. We used this as a base to explore Peak District for a few days, everywhere easy to get to (e.g Chatsworth 30mins away) and couldn’t be better placed for walking Mam Tor (literally just down the road) and exploring Winnats Pass and Castleton (5-10 mins drive away). It’s a lovely spot. No brainer for a wonderful stay for your Peak District adventures.

We had a wonderful time at The Shepherd’s hut! The hosts gave detailed information and checking in was easy. The views from the hut were stunning and it was lovely and warm and cosy inside. A lovely place to stay with plenty of walking spots around! Thank you 😁

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay on the farm. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and stunning views of the sheep grazing nearby. It was both comfortable and amazing , a perfect getaway to relax and recharge. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a serene, countryside setting❤️

We had a brilliant stay at the house for a special birthday & family time. We all said we would stay again so that says a lot! The house is spacious, clean & well equipped. The rooms are large and great for a large family. The hot tub is fab, private and quiet too. The garden and communal areas are lovely and the kids loved playing. Few things to mention that might be helpful for others- For the cost of the weekend stay I think it would be fair to offer more bin liners, loo rolls & cleaning products. For a short stay it’s nice to not have to bring them or go back out to get them. Also, some guests complained about the loud noise from the cockerel at 2/3/4am in the morning. The long rocky road up to the house isn’t nice to drive up so some people might find that challenging. Overall an amazing stay and we loved the space. Thank you

Very happy with our stay at Teresa’s property. The stables were easy to find and the onsite cafe was a big bonus. The breakfast we had was delicious! We were staying for just one night and as a couple it was perfect for our needs. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the shower room was great. Thanks for the complimentary bath products. We both slept very well and found the bedroom comfortable and warm and cosy. Thank you for having us. It was a very convenient stop off for our journey and we would not hesitate to use it again.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The interior is stunning and feels very homely. The wood burner was a real treat, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the decor throughout is beautiful. We were visited a few times by Flossie the cat, which we very much enjoyed. Amy was a great host. She gave us absolutely loads of recommendations, tailored to us and the fact we don't drink but like cake and bakeries. She checked in on us via message during our stay, which we appreciated. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, and might even go back ourselves!

everything about the place was as described incredibly happy with my stay. the host was responsive and friendly told us everything we needed to know offered help when we asked, even baked us a cake. The place was spotless, the location was very private so we were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves 100% would stay again

Had the perfect weekend here!! Gorgeous little place with lots to do in the area, the house had everything you could need including some very cute sheep outside. The owners were very welcoming and had some great recommendations for things to do.

We had a great stay with three families. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and we were lucky enough with the weather to be outside for the whole weekend. We made use of the garden and the great walks literally from the door . Close to Buxton too. Highly recommend.

Latham Hall Farm was amazing for our family gathering. The perfect location for visiting near by attractions and exploring the beautiful countryside. This is the most well equipped Airbnb we have stayed in, everything you could possibly need and more. Ann's personal touches made for such a warm welcome and felt a true home from home.

Beautiful stay at The Milking Parlour. The cottage is so cosy! The decor is gorgeous and perfect for a few nights stay. The views cannot be beaten, and considering it’s a working farm it’s so quiet and peaceful. The goats are so sweet and we loved saying hello to them in the morning. We had a pie from the farm for dinner one of the evenings and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten. We also went to the local pub for something to eat and it was a really great village pub - no bells & whistles but that’s just how we like it! We did find 09:00 checkout time to be a little too early, considering check in isn’t until 3PM. It was fine though, we packed up and utilised the rest of the morning to sight see. Thank you to Julia for hosting us, we will certainly recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in the area.

The Stables is a lovely, peaceful property in beautiful surroundings. It is convenient for Uttoxeter and surrounding towns, but none are walkable, a car is a must. The property itself was well presented and clean. A good size, with plenty of room and equipment for 5 people. The outdoor space would be lovely for summer dining, but it was a tad too windy for us to eat outside. I would say the only issue is the TV reception, we couldn't get it to work at all. luckily we were able to sign into our Netflix and iPlayer accounts. Paul was very communicative and was very happy to answer any queries. We would absolutely recommend staying at The Stables and will hopefully return in ghe future.

Caroline was very helpful and friendly from the outset. We hired Caroline’s place for a surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday and Caroline let us check in slightly early to decorate which allowed us to create a perfect surprise - we were really grateful. Caroline was communicative throughout and helped with recommending a lovely local restaurant (The Red House) - we had an amazing meal. Caroline also recommended a taxi company who were excellent. The granary itself was a beautiful big space and very well equipped. The kitchen area is stunning with a gorgeous terrace overlooking fields and horses. I would love to come back in the summer to make the most of this! The Granary is so comfortable and cosy with plenty of space! The bedrooms are beautiful and very luxurious, it was brilliant to have an en suite with each room. Our stay at the Granary was very special in a peaceful setting. Caroline is an excellent host and on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to stay again!

We absolutely loved staying here. The scenery, the walks and everything you need in the Shepherds Hut. It was just what we needed to wind down for a few days. Would thoroughly recommend.
