We stayed here as we had an early flight from Manchester Airport. Its a lovely place nice and cosy. Plenty of off road parking space. ideal for a Only a few minutes walk from the village centre which is really nice and quaint. There are plenty of places to eat. If we fly from Manchester again or need to be in the area we will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful little escape- very peaceful and lovely views and lots of lovely animals. Julia and Arnie were lovely hosts, very accommodating and even let my dogs out for me whilst I was at work. Would highly recommend

It was an incredibly pleasant snd peaceful stay in a cosy, cabin-like space. It was compact and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and communicated everything in a clear and timely manner too. I only stayed for two nights, but if ever I return to Manchester, I'd love to stay again!

Great in every way. Lovely hosts, comfy, cozy, clean and well equipped. Having trees and drying area was a treat. Breakfast goodies much appreciated too! Poynton high street has so many scrumptious cafes and eating places. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location for visiting friends in Lymm and Chester. Super comfy bed and a lovely canal side walk to Lymm. Very easy check in.

We loved our stay. Carol was really friendly and helpful and had provided us with provisions for our arrival. The property totally matched its description.

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

Great value place for a family of five. And comfortable beds for all. Described as a room, it's more of a little apartment with two bedrooms and a living area with sofa bed. Everything we needed was there. Corinne was friendly and served us a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Being able to arrive when we liked was a bonus too! Perfect stopover for our trip up north. Had a lovely stay at Steve and Jan’s place - they are both so friendly and welcoming. Great location and only short walk to high street in Didsbury with lots of cafes and shops. Good communication too - Steven was always very quick to respond to messages and very helpful! Thank you 😊

We had a lovely stay at swift retreat. Each room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Alicia was a brilliant host who responded to queries within 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend to future guests.

Would give this place 6 stars if I could, might be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at, the Airbnb was beautiful and we felt right at home. I highly recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be returning as I couldn’t get enough of the place. Elizabeth was a responsive and friendly host who was extremely helpful and kind. You can tell that Elizabeth takes great pride in her Airbnb and it is reflected in the exceptional standard of the place. I couldn’t speak more highly of the host and the Airbnb if I tried.

It was a lovely cottage, perfect for us. We had two little ones with us too so the travel cot, high chair and toys were amazing. Made it easier for us! Super responsive too and everything was just as described. We even got some little treats on arrival, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. Great stay. Thank you so much for having us :)

Perfect location; private, spacious, bright, and comfortable. Well equipt and well maintained. 2 min walk to Poynton’s shops, restaurants, taverns, bus stop. We stayed here for a month while visiting our daughter and son-in-law. Hope to make this our home away from home. Thank you Julia!

It certainly was a beautiful place, with great views and very tranquil. James' partner came to welcome me and ensured that I had everything I needed. And, of course, Parker (the dog) who came to say hello. I did not see much of James and his partner during my extended stay as they gave me my own space, but when I did see them they were very friendly and happy to chat. I could not have found a better place to stay, I highly recommend it.

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Old Vicarage Coach House. It was extremely clean and well furnished - exactly as described. The Coach House looks out onto beautiful open countryside but was ideally placed for our day trips into the Peak District as well as in Cheshire. Stephen and Ruth’s clear helpful directions made the whole trip trouble free. We hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful holiday cottage tucked away beside the main house but completely separate. The place is beautifully kept and furnished. Lots of space for two people. The bed is so comfortable and lovely fast shower. My favourite thing was a gorgeous warm sun room on the back of the cottage with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. It felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket in there, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Just a short walk to Wirksworth centre and an even easier walk to the nearest Coop if, like me, you are planning to lock yourself away to work. Really lovely place and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Hosts were easily contactable but I didn't see them at all during my stay - they left me to enjoy my break - but they had left me a few nice treats on arrival and answered quickly to messages prior to my stay. Lovely. Thank you!

Amazing Stay in the Peak District We stayed at this lovely lodge for a weekend while visiting the Peak District, and it was an absolute gem. The design of the lodge was beautiful, making it the perfect retreat. Our host, Justin, was exceptional—he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. His attention to detail truly set this experience apart. For example, he made sure the TV was all set up and ready to go , so we didn't have to lift a finger. The lodge was fully stocked, and Justin provided clear instructions for both check-in and check-out. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more comfortable stay. Would absolutely stay here again! 10/10 :)

Had a great one night stay at High Legh. Setting was very peaceful and calm and felt like home from home. Very easy to find as given very clear instructions and check-in was super simple. Beautiful lodge with everything we needed for our little break.

Amazing little countryside get away. The cottage had everything we could have needed for our stay. Enjoying a gless of wine by the fire pit was the perfect end to our day exploring the peek district. I can highly recommend this stay.
