We had a wonderful 3 days with our two children. The cottage was very comfortable and everything was an experience. Beautiful artwork, amazing bathroom and our own outdoor space. We would highly recommend and we look forward to going back!

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

We would definitely recommend this Air BnB, it is in a very private and peaceful area and the BnB itself was very clean and tidy. Upon arrival we were met by the host, who messaged us earlier on in the day to give us clear instructions on how to get to the correct location. The host introduced himself and showed us around the Air BnB, explaining how different amenities within the BnB worked, which made for a much more comfortable stay. The host was very kind, polite and welcoming, and was very happy for us to contact him incase there was anything we may need during our stay; he was also very helpful when recommending the best way to access the city centre from the air BnB. An absolute gem! We’re a bit fussy, but can honestly say this place was our favourite Airbnb ever. Charming village and surrounds and the cottage was exceptional. The little luxe touches (nice Champagne, for one thing) rounded out the perfection.

Don't just favorite Darla's book it you will not regret it Darla's is absolutely amazing everything u need there already there from bikes,crafts and games absolutely brilliant location for getting anywhere on the East Coast if u want to visit other places that's if you actually wanna leave. we stayed for 2 nights which felt longer it's the perfect place to get u away from the rat race that's called life and just switch off and trust me you will feel refreshed and ready to go again thanks Carol and Bob love Steve, Cheryl and of course Ruby and buddy dog say it was wooftastic

we had a wonderful time!.. comfortable cosy house with lovely views. Enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing. Jayne and Henry were very welcoming hosts. Lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated. We would definitely like to return..Thank you!

We had a lovely time at L’aal Cottage. Great use of the space, everything of high standard and fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Jan was friendly and made us very welcome. Great spot for exploring the Yorkshire coast and a great walk along the beach to Filey.

Had a lovely few days at Tim’s place. The location is excellent and the house is lovely.

Very nice cottage clean n tidy. Very well equipped kitchen eg tea n coffee n milk n bread. Lovely touch. Quiet spot. Enjoyed it 😊

A gorgeous little place. It’s called The Nest & I can see why. Small but perfectly formed with everything you need. Annette has lavished love on this little gem. Amazing power shower, super comfy bed and peaceful surroundings. There is a Co-op a few paces away and a pub across the road. There was no noise over the weekend either! The Downe Arms & the Eskdale Inn pubs are both worth a visit with typical pub grub in one & a bistro feel in the other. Only half an hour away from Whitby. There is a train station in the village with trains to Whitby & Middlesbrough. Lots of walks on your doorstep with only a mile to the moors. A delightful comfortable space. Would recommend.

Wonderful cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable especially the double room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. Extra touches such as tea and biscuits was a nice surprise. The location is right in the heart of Staithes with everything you would need within a 5 minute walk. We parked easily at bank top car park and walked to the cottage. Only suggestion would be the smaller sofa (non leather) isn’t very comfortable.

This cottage is lovely and we felt right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Whitby. Everything is a short walk away and despite being near a main road the cottage was very quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Simply wonderful : we can not think of a single thing that was not 100%, everything exceeded our expectations. Definitely not a soulless corporate run Airbnb! The interior design was outstanding and individual without being overpowering, adding to the sense of calm that the location gives. Super clean throughout. Oh and the bedding, it was out of this world. Everything we needed was provided, the log burner a joy in the chillier evenings. Great walks and the bus stop is directly opposite (every 3 hours, check the timetable, the drivers don’t linger) into York.

We had such a lovely time staying in this beautiful Airbnb in Robin Hood’s Bay. The location was perfect - picturesque, and just a short walk to everything we needed. Mark and Aaron’s home is spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a real home from home. Communication was excellent throughout, and we felt truly looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, actually we will return - thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed a a short, peaceful and enjoyable stay. The cottage offered everything we expected and the view from the patio was outstanding.

A wonderful couple of days away in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing half term mini break, we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with a fantastic view of Robin Hood’s Bay. Steve was a great host and supplied us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from local recommendations to fire logs. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, thank you Steve!

An absolute GEM of a place! Copper cottage is immaculately clean! Peggy has extensive knowledge of all the needs of differently abled people and there is plenty of room to move around with a wheelchair or walking stick in the cottage. The Christmas tree field was a bonus to view and walk around - really magical. Our dog loved the local walks and there are great dog friendly cafes etc, nearby. The garden is huge and my daughter enjoyed the swing! My only complaint is that I didn't book it for longer! Do not hesitate to book!

We had a wonderful weekend at Emma’s place. The location is very picturesque. We loved walking along the stream & river. The location was peaceful with a secluded & secure garden. The house was spotless and spacious - perfect for our family of 5. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and the house had everything we needed when travelling with young children - from plates, cups, bath toys, books, stair gate and cot. 2 nights wasn’t long enough so I hope we’ll be back.

This was our 2nd stay at Autumn Cottage and it was as good as we remembered. A great space for 2 people. The village pub is a couple of doors along the road and the owners and other customers are very friendly and were more than willing to offer recommendations of places to visit in the area. If we come back to this part of Yorkshire we would definitely stay here again

Fantastic place in a great location would highly recommend

This place is probably the nicest place our little family have ever stayed, the surroundings were idyllic, Claire was warm and welcoming and provided books, dvds, board games, toys and Lego so both of our boys were over the moon. The cottage was spotless, the gardens were stunning and the outdoor play set was a real hit. We saw a real variety of wildlife throughout our stay which was magical. Had an absolutely fabulous time , it was a relaxing, chilling weekend and Sue was a fabulous host . The cottage was lovely , everything you needed was there and a great location with amenities less than 2 miles away. Definitely recommend this place . Thank you Sue. Ps local pub food delicious .
