The most meaningful stay during our Greece honeymoon. My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful place located in a small village. Choosing to stay in smaller villages compared to the main cities really pays off! You get to see the traditional houses and experience the slow pace of the islands. This house reminded me of my grandfather’s home which made me feel very sentimental. The home is beautifully renovated with personal touches and antique decor. You have everything you need plus extra blankets, towels and more. We were greeted personally by Georgia, her baby and her mom- who made us lemon cakes which was very generous. And also some wine and chocolate from Georgia. To say that she was generous was an understatement! Georgia is an amazing host and always greets us as if she were a friend! She’s very proactive and has lots of recommendations which made decision making a little easier (my husband and I were struggling making decisions on where to go so this was a massive help!).

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in diesem niedlichen Haus. Wir haben die ruhige und private Atmosphäre genossen. Besonders haben uns die vielen Plätze im Garten und der fantastische Blick auf das Meer gefallen. Der Check In war völlig unproblematisch und unsere Gastgeber immer zu erreichen. Nicht so toll ist die Küche. Geschirr und Besteck waren dreckig und der Geschirrspüler defekt. Die Betten sind für große Menschen nicht optimal. Alles in allem aber ein tolles airbnb.

Ich hab es sehr genossen hier zu wohnen. Die Aussicht, die Ruhe und generell die Wohnung war ein Traum. Ich hab mich direkt wie zuhause gefühlt und wollte garnicht mehr weg. Immer wieder gerne. Kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens Empfehlen.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you aren’t sure if you should stay here or not, I promise you will love the place. It’s beautiful and the host was there to help me and answer questions. He even came to meet me when I got lost so I could follow him to the house! The inside of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The host left us inside enough food, snacks, and beverages to last a week, which was such a pleasant surprise. I recommend renting a car as access to the city is not within walking distance but even in the neighborhood there are two small restaurants and a little convenience store practically right outside the gates of the house. Heraklion is fun and Crete is a beautiful place to rent a car and visit sites. Even balos beach is doable in one day from there if you plan ahead. Then there are other beaches much closer and easier like Voulisma to the east. Or you can take a beautiful drive through the mountains and eat a great with w a view. Much to do! House is perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

An oasis of calm close to the seafront, harbour and old town. The house is beautifully renovated and as all that you need for your stay. Communicating with the owners was excellent & we got an instant response. It would have been helpful to have a bit more information about services in the immediate area especially grocery shops. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to others.

Great appartement near the centre but in a very quiet street. Very good size with air conditioning and a little outside terrace for sitting in the evening (shared with the flat across). The only slight problem is the fridge turns off when you leave the flat. But great place, nice and clean :)

Notre séjour en Crète a été absolument parfait ! L’appartement était propre, spacieux et exactement comme décrit dans l’annonce. La plage est réellement à 50mètres et dispose de transats/parasols en saison (gratuits?!) Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et disponibles pour répondre à toutes nos questions, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour quiconque souhaite découvrir la beauté de la Crète dans un cadre relaxant et authentique. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! PS: Une voiture de location me paraît indispensable si vous souhaitez découvrir l'île à fond

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à trois dans ce logement en Crète. L’appartement est coquet, très confortable, et impeccablement rangé. Tout était parfaitement propre, ce qui nous a permis de nous sentir immédiatement à l’aise. La proximité de la piscine a ajouté un confort supplémentaire, idéal pour se détendre après une journée d’exploration. Mention spéciale à Maria, l’hôte, qui a été incroyablement amicale, proactive et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos moindres besoins. Grâce à elle, notre séjour s’est déroulé dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour un séjour agréable et sans souci en Crète !

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Our stay at Mama La Roosa Villa was a dream. Petros was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a relaxing stay in Agia Pelagia. The villa was stunning - it had gorgeous ocean views from every angle, beautiful landscaping, and a modern design with every amenity needed for our trip. The villa felt quiet, private, and safe. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We enjoyed the pool and backyard dining area so much that we decided to skip the beach! The warm hospitality from Petros is what made the stay - he arranged reservations at the best local restaurants and wineries. We felt that we were able to truly experience Greece thanks to our stay with Petros at Mama La Roosa Villa. We wish we could stay longer and can’t wait to return. Thank you Petros for an unforgettable experience!

wir haben uns bei George und Claire sehr wohl gefühlt! die Unterkunft war sauber, die Betten sehr bequem, der Außenbereich sehr schön gestaltet, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, Küche und Wohnbereich toll ausgestattet. rundum sehr schön. die Kommunikation mit George war völlig problemlos. Wir haben auch viele Empfehlungen für die Region erhalten. besonders muss ich hervorheben das wir in der Unterkunft etwas vergessen haben und er uns die Sachen sogar nachhause geschickt hat. ganz Klasse Service! vielen Dank :)

Sehr schöne Villa die genau den Fotos entspricht. Sehr gut geeignet für ein paar Tage mit guten Freunden. Kann die Villa nur empfehlen!

L'alloggio è situato in campagna immerso nella tranquillità ad appena 10 minuti dalla principale arteria stradale. La casa è pulita e ordinata e i padroni gentilissimi e velocissimi a rispondere. mi sono trovato proprio bene ad un prezzo ottimo. Per gli amanti dei gatti sappiate che sarete circondati da qualche micio ogni mattina desideroso di attenzioni e cibo, non negategli una scatoletta che sono tanto teneri.🥹

I chose George's Villa for the pool and the quite environment. At that time it as George's mother and brother who welcomed me as George was abroad. They are very friendly in welcoming me and giving intros and instructions for the Villa. Everything is clean and the outside is kept clean every morning as George's father will tidy the outdoor including the pool. It is a secluded place, a neighborhood that neighbors are hundred meters away, if you are looking for such place. But still you can feel safe. I don't see the gate lock to be very secure, but there is no issue at all during my stay. Perhaps that's what the cctv is for, monitoring the front gate. Having car will be useful, though you might want to just stay the villa enjoying the garden and pool. As said in the other comments, lots of insects and bugs.. but the area is farming area. And the cats, although I am not a cat person nor a hating them, I don't feel intimidated by the number of the cats there are.

Eirini was a fantastic host. The Villa had all the amenities and necessities one could ask for. The views were amazing and the outdoor space was wonderful.

אפי וניקוס מארחים למופת, חיכו לנו כשהגענו עם חיוך ענק ואדיב, הראו לנו את הבית (המקסים, תיכף הפירוט לגביו), השאירו לנו פירות, לחמים, ריבות, זיתים ושמן זית מעשה ידיהם, היו זמינים לכל דבר הכי קטן. הבית מצוייד בדברים קטנים למקרה צורך וברור שהם מארחים שחושבים על אורחיהם עד הפרטים הקטנים. הבית מבודד באמצע יער של עצי זית, שקט, מקסים, מיטות נוחות, שני קמינים, חצר ומירפסת, נהננו מאד ונשארנו עם טעם של עוד.

Look no further! Aura Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. We almost didn’t want to leave! Make sure you visit George’s restaurant down the street. The owner George and his wife are so kind and the food was delicious.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la maison de Margarita. Celle-ci correspond parfaitement à l'annonce. C'est une maison "dans son jus", mais dans un cadre absolument incroyable, calme et finalement plutôt proche des sites à visiter. Margarita a été une hôte très gentille, accueillante et bienveillante. Elle vit à l'étage inférieur de la maison, mais reste très discrète. Son habitation possède des accès totalement indépendants. La vue depuis la pièce principale de la maison est fabuleuse, même chose depuis la terrasse et la piscine. Nous avons passé de longues heures à contempler les collines, la mer et les couchers de soleil. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour son côté unique. Même si la maison est un peu vieillotte, elle est agréable à habiter et confortable.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, für ein paar Nächte in den Apartments zu übernachten und bin absolut begeistert! Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und hat uns herzlich empfangen – wir wurden mit frischem Obst und einem Raki begrüßt. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Abendessen, das wir mit der Gastgeberin und ihrem Mann genießen durften. Es gab frisch gefangenen Fisch und Bier, was uns die Möglichkeit gab, unsere Gastgeber näher kennenzulernen und viele tolle Tipps und Geschichten über die Gegend zu erfahren. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr gemütlich und familiär eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der wunderschöne Ausblick auf das Meer und die nahegelegenen Tavernen. Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt, den ich nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann. Vielen Dank!

Marina is a great host, always there to answer and help with any questions or issues. The apartment is great and such a perfect location. Ligaria was brilliant, not too busy when we visited in June. We took a tour to Matala which we loved. A very special place. I’ve already recommended Ligaria and this apartment to a friend. The local people were also very friendly and polite. I’d come back again for sure :)

This home on a hillside outside of Ano Kalisha is spectacular. Ourfamily of six people had more than enough room in this spacious, very well-appointed home. Everything about it is first rate, and the location couldn’t be better. It sits on a hill overlooking hills festooned with olive farms and vineyards, with the sparkling blue Mediterranean providing background. A very large pool, perfectly maintained, will draw you and your family into the water all day. Yet you are only 15 minutes from Heraklion and Knossos. Also, Aris is the perfect host. He drove us to the house when we got to Ano Kalesha and was always on call for any questions that we had. I cannot recommend this house highly enough. I know that you will find that your stay here is one of your best memories of Crete.
