Our stay at “The Cabin” was so awesome! It made for a great little getaway and was not far from our deer lease! Everything was just as described and everything was super clean. They really thought through all of the little details. We will definitely be staying here again! We can’t wait to bring our kids and also check out the winery once it’s ready.

It is a nice neighborhood, the beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows are also high quality. I usually bring my own pillow and I forgot it. It was no problem - I slept great. Also, there were many plugs on both sides of the bed for chargers, that is very helpful.

Wonderful and peaceful West Texas getaway! The host had excellent communication and accommodations. We enjoyed the festive Christmas decorations. Thank you. We highly recommend and will book again.

David's place was perfect for my husband and I to get away for a couple of days after our wedding. We had beautiful surroundings, plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the outdoors, the hot tub was fantastic, and the place was perfect for us. Just a heads up, note that there is no wifi; so this means that there are very limited options with the TV and we never figured out a way to bluetooth a phone or laptop to play from the TV. That was perfect for us. We had a moment that it would have been nice to watch something but we were glad we couldn't figure out a way to do it. It sent us outdoors and on a fantastic walk instead. And despite no wifi, we had sufficient cell phone service throughout the stay.

Great stay! The space was clean, cozy, and well-located. The host was very thoughtful. Recommend for sure👍

upon arrival there was an accidental water problem which the host took care of immediately. the place is as described, it's quaint very clean Oasis I love the inside of the dwelling as well as the outside. had wonderful outdoor lights which were on a timer and fence and area for our pets. I would return to this location.

Pirates cove was a great place to stay with my babies. We wanted a middle meeting spot for my college kid that didn’t mean driving 6 hours on his part. My daughter’s birthday was celebrated, we cooked Thanksgiving supper, and spent a couple days doing nothing. My kids said it was the best and didn’t want to leave. Our cousins live in nearby so they popped by to visit and watch a movie with us and they took my kids fishing in the cold (catch and release). We used space heaters and the heat unit for the unexpected cold snap. The warm weather day woke up some yellow jackets (5 +) inside. We found their entry point so the day was saved and we had a giggle about the invasion. The decor is super cute, we took turns doing dishes, and slept like rocks. I didn’t want to leave either. When we messaged about the space heater location Rachel was helpful but I had missed what closet they were in. The Amazon stick had corroded batteries and didn’t work (not the host fault) it happens.

Cozy and very home like, host was very nice, location was great! Will be happy to rent this place again if ever the opportunity arises!

We loved our short stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, inside and out! We are definitely looking forward to our next stay in the future to enjoy the outdoor amenities a little longer.
