Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch Jill und Johan hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in ihrem Apartment und haben den Garten und den Pool sehr genossen. Sie sind tolle Gastgeber, gut erreichbar und immer hilfsbereit. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Super location, great condo, and excellent host. Lots to do in the area including relaxing on the patio watching whales, dolphins, and dassies.

Een mooi appartement midden in Hermanus, op loopafstand van restaurants en winkels. Voldoende parkeerplekken in de directe omgeving. Kyle, een super host, doet zijn naam eer aan. Toen mijn man op een zaterdagavond plotseling ziek werd en ik om medische hulp vroeg, reageerde Kyle binnen drie minuten! Daarna is hij nog in contact gebleven om zijn hulp aan te bieden en de volgende ochtend heeft hij ook nog eens gevraagd naar de toestand van de patient (alles is gelukkig goed gekomen). Wat een geweldige gastheer!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Hermanus sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war einwandfrei. Stellplatz direkt vor der Tür, reichlich Platz für eine Familie und alles sauber. Vom Host haben wir interessante und hilfreiche Einblicke in das Leben in Hermanus, aber auch in die südafrikanische Kultur erhalten. Der Ort ist beschaulich und gemütlich. Es gibt eine Einkaufsstraße, ein paar Restaurants (darunter einen sehr guten Italiener) und tolle Strände (z.B. Grotto Beach). Wir haben uns zudem sehr sicher gefühlt.

I absolutely love this place and actually stayed longer than initially planned. It's very close to the city centre in a small retirement village. As a result you are of course expected to be quiet but the advantage is that your neighbours are equally very quiet. I slept incredibly well in the firm bed. Although the place is definitely not big, it did have absolutely everything I needed, even a washing machine! I wouldn't hesitate staying here again and would certainly advise people to stay here provided they are not looking for luxury finishings.

Elfriede's place is absolutely stunning. Every attention to detail that you could hope for. We absolutely loved it all, the bed and the crisp clean bedding was to die for. Verandah is lovely, shaded and relaxing. Sort of place you keep looking at as little gems all over the place. We loved it and will certainly stay longer if we return to South Africa. We enyojed staying in the house and we can definitly recommend it.

Wir waren fast 8 Wochen in der Villa Stellendal und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt: Tommy hat uns herzlichst begrüßt, uns eingewiesen und täglich nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt. Auch unsere gute Fee Miriam hat stets für frische Wäsche, Blumen und Sauberkeit in unserem schönen Heim gesorgt. Die Villa ist gemütlich, es ist alles vorhanden, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt einen Smart TV mit Netflix und der Pool sorgt für regelmäßige Erfrischungen und ein Jacuzzi für Entspannung. Die Villa ist uneinsehbar und somit sehr privat. Die Lage ist zentral, aber dennoch ruhig. Für alle Wünsche und Fragen ist auch die Rezeption mit Anneke, Cindy und Hannah täglich besetzt und für alle Wünsche und Fragen offen und hilfsbereit. Auch wenn es kleine Defizite oder Reparaturen gab, stand Tommy täglich zur Verfügung und hat schnell und unkompliziert die Mängel behoben. Es fiel uns sehr schwer good bye zu sagen, aber wir werden alle lieben Menschen im Oktobee 2025 wieder sehen.

We spent a week at Aline’s place and what a lovely experience! The house is beautiful, spacious and has a fully stocked kitchen (which was a bonus for me!) The finishings of the house are beautiful, making it feel very homey. The host was helpful, friendly and always responsive. We are definitely keen to come back again :)

The most amazing place to stay! Both Hans and Babette went above and beyond, going out of their way to ensure our stay was first class. Lovely people to communicate with and nothing was too much trouble! Can’t wait to return. Thank you both for the most amazing month and for being such great hosts! The estate is extremely safe and secure, you might even forget to lock your doors. The home is fresh & new with almost every top of the line appliance and amenity except airconditioning. Otherwise our family had a wonderful Xmas time in the home and Marita was the perfect combination of available if we needed, but out of site to allow us to enjoy the space. Thank You

We had a lovely weekend! Kitchen is well kitted out, and it was great having an inside and outside braai. Friendly service, will definitely come again.

A lovely, spacious and very well equipped beach house in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. A short stroll from the coast and Davie’s pool - a great place for a dip and to watch the sun go down. Some good restaurants and shops in Onrus and a huge shopping mall between Onrus and Hermanus. If you’re worried about security- don’t be…. The property is fully alarmed but everyone we met were so polite and friendly! Corneil and Rachelle were excellent, responsive hosts. We had a great holiday here. Highly recommended.

June’s place really is a home from home. So many wonderful little touches - the plentiful supply of towels and crockery, the lovely artwork and sculptures, and the comfy beds with loads of cushions! The location is ideal - private and peaceful yet very accessible to all amenities. June always goes the extra mile to make us feel at home. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and spotless , the supply of beach towels in the bathroom, and the loungers and braai wood - fabulous! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone - it is quite large - I believe it could accommodate around 12-15 people if needs be - but it’s very cozy when there’s just two couples. The maintenance is right up to date, the furnishings tasteful and there is so much space (ie no clutter). It feels as if June is almost still living here with all the personal touches. We can’t wait to come again next year (3rd visit) and look forward to the wonderful views over grotto Beach

Bayview is a stunning apartment with stunning views. Everything was perfect, from the unit, to the amenities to the linen. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Pity about the pool not being available but we believe a plan is in hand. Would of been great to sit around the pool after a morning at the beach. Apartment is safe and secure and ideal for a family of four. If i had one complaint (which it isnt really) i found the chairs in the lounge to be quite uncomfortable, very modern but not something you can tuck up your knees and read a book. The couch on the other hand was very comfortable. Elsa was fantastic and met us at the unit and gave us some tips on the surrounding areas, she is available if you need anything and also allows you privacy - a wonderful host! We loved our stay in Hermanus!

The accommodation was clean, tidy and exactly what we required in a secure estate which provided a great base for us to explore the Cape winelands, False bay area and Cape Town and the wonderful sights. The rooms were smallish but fine for our needs and the shower in the ensuite bathroom was one of the best showers we have used in a long time. The abundance of bird life around us was awesome being situated by a small dam within the estate and the local residents we met were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed walking around the estate and also along the beachfront of the estate. From the start of the booking to the end, Jeff was always responsive to our needs and communication was excellent and timeous. If someone is looking for a place to stay where you have peace of mind to just come and explore the wonders of the Cape then this is a great spot for you.

A spacious apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment was spotless and had all amenities we needed. The views from the balcony were spectacular and having an openable full glass enclosure was perfect when the breeze picked up. Two minutes walk from the bars, restaurants and coffee shops, the location was perfect. Lettie was pro-active with check in/out which was really helpful. I would stay here again on future visits to Hermanus.
