Brockram Barn is simply stunning. We had a wonderful family holiday - there was everything we could possibly want, and more! Of course, the hot tub and table tennis were fun extras, but Harriet had thought of everything and equipped the home to an extremely high standard and, as a family of five, we had plenty of space. We loved the area and did many of the suggested walks and activities, plus a few more! It was so good to be amongst the sheep, surrounded by green fields and wildlife with beautiful, ever-changing views. Thank you, Harriet and family, for a truly great time!

I booked this property to celebrate my fiancé’s 30th birthday with family. Everyone loved the house and everything that came with it. We struggled a little to find the property but Julie was helpful over the phone. Julie & her husband welcomed us and had kindly set up beers in an ice bucket for arrival which was a lovely start. All the rooms / living room / games room / kitchen all very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything to cook easily & big fridge for all the food for everyone. Iron & iron board / hairdryer easily found. We had trouble lighting the fire on the outdoor table but they were quickly round and rectified it and got it going. We thought it was great that the wood / coal / fire starters were included as we did use the fire pit and BBQ multiple times. The games room was brilliant, the pool table and darts board was a hit! We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Maple cottage fitted our needs perfectly and Caroline and her associates were very friendly and helpful with any requests we made. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation bonus!

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

Hilary and Peter were perfect hosts. Friendly and informative. Woodpecker cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and peaceful. A great place to stay to get away from it all. Our dogs loved the garden and paddock.

Second time staying at Pheasant lodge and it’s just as stunning as we remembered. Everything you need, so peaceful. Couldn’t recommend more highly! Thank you!!

A huge thank you to Jackie, John and Cooper 🐶 for everything during our stay this week. The accommodation was perfect for us and felt like home from home. The little additional touches were most appreciated. The location was perfect for walking our dogs, getting a train, walking into Kendal or getting in / out of Kendal by car. We would love to come back when we are next up visiting family in Kendal.

We loved it so much the first time we stayed here, we went back again. It doesn't disappoint. It's location is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to all the fantastic trappings the North Yorkshire Moors are famous for, whether that is a visit to the coast or an Abbey or one of many beautiful historic towns. We will be going back again!

The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

We had a great stay-the house is light, spacious and clean and the garden was great for our dog, who enjoyed exploring it. The Sainsbury’s Local which is a few minutes walk away was very handy for a few essentials when we arrived!

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

The iron chapel is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, and a lovely place to spend time with family. Lisa and Michael were great hosts, very quick to reply to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the iron chapel. Andy & Sarah.

West Cottage perfect for a family of 4 with 2 boys, looking to get out into the countryside and explore the area. Beautiful location, photos don’t do it justice, surrounded by green hills, sheep and with a brook below the garden. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves which meant we could use the wave machine, hot tub and games room whenever we wanted after days out. Also enjoyed having our meals out on the lawn. Cottage had all we needed, comfy beds and kitchen well-equipped.

We loved the remoteness of the cottage, the peace & quiet. Loved the pool & hot tub which is a must if we don't stay coastal.You definitely need a car to access any shops as the nearest shop is 2.3 miles and this closes at 5. No pubs within walking distance and some pubs only opened certain days and opened at 6. However that's what makes the place attractive & peaceful. Lots of places to visit with 10 mile radius. Great walks and historical sites to see. Beautiful landscape. Cottage was very snug & comfortable.

Spacious and warm cottage in a great location for exploring beautiful Northumberland. Bellingham is a great place to stay with pubs, places to eat, co-op, butchers, etc. We loved the Hareshaw Linn walk to the waterfall, followed by a visit to Tea on The Train, which is a fun way to have lunch on an old Inter City train carriage! Kielder Observatory is only 30 minutes away for unbeatable stargazing. What a fantastic trip! We will look for Norma's cottage again on our next visit to Northumberland.

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage im „Farm Cottage“! Der Hof ist ruhig und wunderschön und unsere kleine Tochter war begeistert von den vielen Tieren. Das Pool Haus mit Trainings- und Hobbyraum ist ein tolles Extra, genauso die frischen Eier von den eigenen Hühnern, Holz für den Ofen und der Service, das Waschhaus inkl. Waschmaschine und Trockner zu nutzen. Die Kommunikation mit Chris und seiner Frau war perfekt. Wir waren sehr traurig, dass wir nur ein paar Tage da waren. Ein kleiner Hinweis für große Menschen: Die Dusche ist sehr, sehr niedrig ;) Also entweder baden, im sitzen duschen oder am besten einfach die Dusche im Pool Haus nutzen!
