I highly recommend this property! It was spacious, clean and had wonderful amenities for us to enjoy in the free time we had at the house. It was perfectly as described and the pictures were spot on. There was more than enough parking for our group and the house was nicely tucked away from the street. Our host was proactive with communication and very responsive with any questions we had. If you find yourself needing stay in this area, this is the place to book!

What a wonderful stay we had as a family of 8! Although it rained all weekend, the kiddos and adults enjoyed the provided games, darts and pool table. The owners heated the pool for our stay! The kids loved it. The home is also located an out 15 minutes from the outlets and Top Golf, since it was rainy. We brought our dogs, and they loved running up and down the property. We even saw some deer cross through the fences! Besides the woodpecker waking me up Sunday morning, our stay was amazing. Thank you.

Ryan was an amazing host. The house was very clean and relaxing. Lots of family games and the backyard was breathtaking. Ryan was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions. Ryan provided lists of destinations and attractions for family and friends. Great stay, would definitely stay again.

Great place! Really comfortable beds and extra conveniences that made the place a wonderful stay (spice rack, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, and coffee). Edward was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. we would happily stay again next time we are in Charlotte

A Truly Amazing 🤩 Park like retreat in the city; forest 🌳, wildlife, stream, birds 🦅 singing (Grandkids loved 🥰 seeing deer 🦌 on the grounds). Extremely spacious inside and outside, everyone had their space for privacy when required. A gourmet Kitchen, gas stove, double oven, coffee and tea bar, upgraded appliances and utensils 🍴, surprisingly ample supply of spices and condiments. The pool 🏊🏾‍♀️ was great 😊 and a few floats provided. The Family is already coordinating schedules for a return visit next year ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯👍🏾.

What an amazing place! It’s as if you are stepping into the early 90’s, but on a lake, with a pool! We had a small gathering to play cards (we are nerds) and made a small fire by the lake, lit by the moon. The pool is phenomenal, I believe it is salt water ad there was no chlorine smell. The place is well appointed and modern and the bed we stayed in was very comfortable! The hostess is stellar and the place is easy to find and park. The outside area was unbelievable, this is the perfect getaway!

Traveled to NC with my family for work trip with my husband. We loved the home it was perfect for our large family. Had everything we need Tracy was great and helpful when needed. We would definitely recommend starting here and will come back when in area again.

We had a great stay. It was easy to get into the house and it had everything we needed. Cierra was responsive when there was an issue with the coffee machine and even replaced it the same day! One thing to note - you need to go up and down a set of stairs to get into and out of the apartment. Those with mobility issues could struggle. However, I would otherwise recommend staying here.

Went to celebrate mine and my old high school friends 65 birthdays. We stayed a week. It was heaven. It was the most relaxing week, We have had in a long time. Right on the lake, stayed in the water and the sun, the whole time. Just what we came for, relaxation and laughing and bringing up old memories! I will be staying here again. Thank you Kim, for everything. You were very accommodating for us.

We had a great time! I really appreciate how the house was so well equipped for 16 people - not just beds, but seating, kitchen equipment, and the game room too!

Lindy was accommodating and communicated well with us. The place was even larger than it looks in the photos, and the area is serene and beautiful. The road in front is not traveled often, and it's very quiet. Rolling hills in the back of the house. There was even a guy training a horse next door for a while. The coffee maker works well, and there are coffee filters and a well-stocked kitchen. Check-in and check-out instructions were simple and clear. There is a part of the listing that mentions the extreme temps of the house, and that's something to keep in mind depending on the time of year you're visiting. The thermostat is locked and can't be adjusted. It was chilly when we arrived, but we were very comfortable the rest of the time once it warmed up, and we knew to expect this since it's clearly stated in the details as well. I appreciated that this was mentioned beforehand. A lovely place and a great value. Thank you, Lindy!

This is an older Lake House with alot of character. It is in a great location with Wonderfull views of the lake. I would recommend staying here.

Our stay was nice! The place was very well supplied. Close to restaurants and right on Lake Tillery. Beautiful view and fits a large family. We loved our stay👍🏻

Stayed for a wedding 5 minutes away which was very convenient. Was easy to get to and the windows provided a beautiful view of the landscape behind the house.

Donna's airbnb was absolutely perfect for us. I rented the space for a weekend so I could propose to my girlfriend. Donna went above and beyond with accommodations and helping me plan things out from measuring her lovely gazebo to even providing extension cords for us to use! Donna is a fantastic host and I cannot recommend her airbnb enough! My now fiance and I look forward to coming back in future years.

A Stone’s Throw is absolutely beautiful! Everything was thoughtfully designed and in excellent condition. Attention to detail was so helpful - things such as labeling the light switches. The view & lake is gorgeous! The basement has a bedroom with 4 beds that worked perfectly for our girls. Who has 3 King size beds? This house! 3.5 bathrooms was also amazing. The owner, Joy, was very quick to respond to any questions. If you’re looking for a lake house in central NC, look no further!

We enjoyed our stay in your home. It was the perfect size for our sisters! The view was tranquil and porch would have been great if the weather was a bit warmer! We had a wonderful weekend!

Comfortable and inviting home in a quiet and beautiful lakefront community. Host contact is detailed and straightforward. Parking enough for at least two vehicles in a driveway along the home. Two bedrooms on opposite sides of the home - each with a toilet/sink and one with a shower. The one with a shower has two doors for hallway access as well as bedroom access. Plenty of hot water. One of the bedrooms has a TV. Efficient heat and A/C. Neatly kept and clean. Lots of spaces to spread out and relax. Got good sleep - unusual for a strange bed! Would definitely stay here again.

Three generations gathered here for Thanksgiving - it was a lovely place to visit together, cook, and eat. Kitchen was well-stocked, and the large dining table and sitting area accommodated us all. Lake views were excellent in spite of the cold. We were glad for the many throw blankets!
