The house is brand new, and everything was spotlessly clean. It is essentially two living spaces with full kitchen and entertainment both on the main level and downstairs. All the beds were comfortable, the master suites were very nice, and the bunk rooms were very functional. There is a Blackstone grill on the upper deck and a Weber gas grill on the pool deck. The pellet ice maker was also a pleasant surprise. Tim was super-easy to work with, and very accommodating. If I were trying to come up with three adjectives to describe this place, they would be “gorgeous, upgraded, and spotless.” If we’re in town again the same time next year, we will be hoping it is available again.

Exactly what we needed before my daughter’s wedding! I stayed with my brother and his wife and my sister and we all loved it and were comfortable. The beds were a bit firm, but we only stayed 2 nights and were able to sleep well.

It has been a pleasure to stay at this lake house. We would stay again and bring a boat/jet skis next time.

Donna's airbnb was absolutely perfect for us. I rented the space for a weekend so I could propose to my girlfriend. Donna went above and beyond with accommodations and helping me plan things out from measuring her lovely gazebo to even providing extension cords for us to use! Donna is a fantastic host and I cannot recommend her airbnb enough! My now fiance and I look forward to coming back in future years.

This place was the perfect lake getaway for 2 families of 4. Kate was very responsive and the house was very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Went there with my two kids, son in law and grandkids. We enjoyed all the games Debbie left for us to play. The view was so beautiful and the house was decorated perfectly. Debbie had multipul trees decorated for Christmas for us to enjoy. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Debbie was always responsive and helpful. We would love to come back some time when we could use the lake. Thank you Debbie for helping us enjoy the holidays together.

I lived in this house ten years ago. it felt like home then and still feels like home. very quaint and homey!

The lakefront cottage utilizes space well and is very clean and comfortable. The location on the lake is absolutely wonderful. Private area without a lot of traffic. We used the kayaks most of the days for fishing and exploring. Caught several bass and a 25lb catfish! The kitchen is well stocked! We cooked most meals at the house, utilizing the blackstone for breakfast. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely.

Had a great time with a couple friends just tryna get away for the weekend. Definitely would stay again.

This lake house was exactly what we needed! Great views & Jennifer was very helpful and responded right away!!! The description was spelled out exactly and the views were great! This was a last minute booking and instructions were easy to find.

One of the cleanest houses I've rented in AirBNB, and this even includes the air quality. Finding the house was easy and we enjoyed having the quonset hut for parking as it rained the entire time we were there. The weather enhanced the secluded coziness of the home which we really enjoyed. If you want a place that is peaceful and secluded, this is for you. It felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, but you can easily find some good eats and groceries nearby. We visited in the winter but I'm sure this place is even more beautiful in the spring/summer. We'll be back again for sure.

Jen’s place on High Rock Lake is an absolute gem. This cozy cottage packs a bunch with its stunning “million dollar” lake front views and all the amenities needed for a romantic or family fun weekend get-a-way. Although the weather was cold and rainy, we still had a wonderful home away from home experience during our short stay. We look forward to returning during the summer time.

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake from the living room was great. The two dogs owned by Allison were very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. Allison took time to also greet us when we arrived and came to say goodbye when we left. We plan to return either in late spring or during the summer to take advantage of the lake.

Beautiful home tucked away in the woods with a great view of the lake. A short walk down to a large dock with kayaks and a bar. Unfortunately, it was a little too cold for us to fully enjoy it this time but look forward to a visit in the summer. We found everything we needed in the home, and enjoyed the ping-pong table, games, old school Nintendo... great stay overall.

Exceeded my expectations! The pictures don't do justice to how homey and beautiful the place is. It rained 90%of the time we were there but it didn't even matter. We just tucked into the comfortable home and enjoyed some needed peace. Janice And Tom were incredible hosts. Great communication, perfect local recommendations, and even fresh eggs and pastries! Can't say enough good things!

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!

Wow. What a beautiful place! The pictures don’t do this home justice. The inside is just beautiful and cozy, and truly made us feel like we were in a cabin up in the mountains, tucked away from the outside world. The outside of the house was truly fantastic! From the deck, to all the open space in the back and the gorgeous water views, it was the perfect place to relax any time of day. Our kids didn’t even want to go anywhere else because the backyard area was such a fun place to play and explore… and the adults all loved lounging on the back deck while the kids played! The house had everything we needed and more, and even the kitchen was outfitted with everything we could need for our weekend away. Every part of the house felt cozy and welcoming and we only wished we could have stayed longer. If ever in the area again, hands down this is where we would want to stay!

What a great retreat and with the added bonus of access to the National Forest. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated, quiet, cozy and an outdoor shower to boot! For my stay, as a camper, that was fun and her fire pit is huge! You can cook on it, enjoy the view, or boast a good hardy fire. The hostess was gracious, accommodating, and available without hesitation. This will be my family’s go to for a semi-rustic weekend.

The one comment that Ken didn’t have bug spray and he got a one star or a two star review is honestly laughable because that is about the only thing this guy does not have when you talk about a host that lays out step-by-step instruction on what may be helpful around the house. He has every thing you need to make it home. This is a place where you can get out get away and still be 30 minutes from Charlotte and Mooresville is one of the affluent areas of all of Charlotte so there’s plenty to do a very nice uptown area. The guy has literally anything you can think of that you would need to make your stay more accommodated he thought of it and he put it down or has it for you five star no question
