We had a great time in Placencia. The place was perfect for our needs - spacious, comfy, clean linens, and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice to walk to the resort and have access to the pool and restaurant. Vincent was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed and to make recommendations. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a great stay in Belize!

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer. There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals. The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming. Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had. To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters. We would definitely come back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Ophelia's! It was exactly what we expected and more. The location was wonderful. The Maya Beach area has many things to do. Ida, Tito and Heather were all friendly, helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Anytime we had a question about anything, someone responded within a few minutes to help and answer. Ida's cooking provided a wonderful respite for us to have meals at home, while still having a vacation from cooking and cleaning. Heather helped set up several fun excursions during our week stay as well! Our kids both slept wonderfully each night and loved the little touches included in their rooms with games and books for extra activities at the house. The Lagoon for the kayaks was a wonderful way to get out on the water, without having to go anywhere!

What a gem of a place. Everything is walkable Hopkins has my heart! Anything you need they live right on property and will help you out. Solo traveling no need to be concerned fun and very safe. Take a walk out back in the morning and have coffee. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the water ❤️

The ideal spot to enjoy the Placencia Peninsula. Near by great restaurants and easily accessible to Placencia Village. There’s a very relaxed peaceful vibe and Swan Villa for the bill perfectly. To top It off Mariam is a great host and always eager to lend a hand. I will definitely be back.

Fascinating architectural masterpiece and amazing grounds/pool/shared spaces. Quiet and private, but still 15 minutes from all the places you'd want to go in Placencia, and that also means it's convenient if your driving into the mainland to do hiking or ecotourism. Adorable geckos will come visit you in the (amazing) shower, and the whole place just feels special. Not walking or biking distance from the stuff to do in town, but if you have a rental car or golf cart this isn't a problem. 100% would stay again and highly recommend.

Our stay was exceptional! The condo had an ocean view, felt private, had everything we needed to cook a few meals, the restaurant had delicious meals, groceries were close by, staff was responsive, on-site staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well kept, the grounds were immaculate.

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.
