Wonderful Stay! Review: I had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Andrew’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The communication with (Andrew) was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free.

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

Amazing value, great host, beautiful place. Super clean, well taken care off. Plenty of utensils to cook your own meals. Very cozy and at-home feeling layout. There is a train close, but there was zero issue with noise during quiet hours. Very private feels and easy to access. Great host as well!

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is located in a quiet neighborhood that's a very short drive to all the great restaurants in the area. The home was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Everything worked as advertised and the hot tub was a welcome bonus! We will definitely make a trip back up and choose to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

Cathy was an amazing host! Very helpful and accommodating. We moved from Arkansas to Illinois and were waiting to close on our home the closing date changed twice and Cathy allowed us to extend our stay .

Clean, clutter free, all three kids slept all night. That's a win. Thanks

The house was everything! So many conversations spots and different areas to hang out. The grounds are beautiful and the area is extremely quiet. Perfect for our winter girls getaway. Adorable coffee shop in town!

My friends and I stayed the weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was the perfect home for us. First, there was ample parking for our three large vehicles. Next, there was an amazing game room separate from the house which means that guests can have a blast without waking those who may be sleeping in the house. Next there was a great hot tub, outdoor lounge space and outdoor dining area. Once inside we were so impressed with the quality and quantity of bath linens, dishes, and other kitchen amenities. The place was sparkling clean. What impressed us all the most were all the little details. The bathrooms had a supply of things you may have forgotten, like hair ties, floss sticks, and cotton pads. There was plenty of extra toilet paper, shower products, coffee. There was a water dispenser with hot and cold water. It was like they thought of everything. The furniture and beds are comfy, the hosts are uber responsive. You can they they want everyone to feel at home, and we did.

It was easy to find the house and checkin. The house was even more beautiful than the photos, especially the front rooms with the picture windows. The woodwork is incredible. We really appreciated the immaculate fenced-in yard, since we were traveling with two dogs. There’s also a great donut shop about 3 minutes walking distance, and the Main Street is full of options for dining and shopping. The only thing to note is that the bathroom sink had a very low flow (although the water pressure in the shower was great). Would definitely stay here again!
