The view from the cabin was exceptional. Exactly as described. Very private and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, even had champagne glasses! And everything was very clean. Howard was very responsive as well. The only downside was getting there was a bit tricky. We weren’t quite sure if we would ever get to the top of the mountain. I guess that’s what makes the view worth it! Luckily, we printed Howard‘s very detailed directions and were able to find it. Perfect weekend getaway.

This cabin was the perfect setting for a much-needed getaway for us. Beautiful cabin, super clean, and so tastefully appointed. I can't recommend this place enough. I won't lie, the road getting to the cabin was a bit sketchy, and I'm glad they recommended 4 wheel drive to get there, but it had been graded by the time we left so it was much smoother. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended it to several friends

Good place right on the New River. The valley is very quiet and secluded with only a few single family homes and vacation cabins scattered up and down the side slopes. Very casual and easy check-in. Kitchen and house very well equipped for lots of cooking and activities and entertainment. Hot tub was great. Very easy and ample space to roam for folks with pets. If you have a very low clearance vehicle like a corvette or something, check on bridge first, but 99% of vehicles will be fine even as crazy as it looks especially after Helene(notably, their bridge was one of the only small private bridges left after Helene that we saw). Want to come back in the summer one day for some tubing, perfect spot for it.

We loved staying at Jeremy’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful with lots of fun things to do for our little boy. The house was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was so much fun! Perfect place to get away and rest and enjoy as a family. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Banjos Cabin, and will definitely be back in the future. It is very comfortable and has good vibes. The location is just what I was looking for- not a soul in sight. It was very peaceful with the sound of the creek flowing by.

Absolutely loved staying at this cabin! Everything was perfect from the hot tub and fire pit outside with a beautiful view to a cozy interior with comfy beds!

This cabin was the perfect family getaway. The views were absolutely gorgeous, the cabin was so cozy and had everything you would need and the community was so nice too. We went to the fishing pond daily and took very scenic hikes all right there in the mountain. Boone was not too far away either and there were lots of good restaurants and fun shops to go to. Would absolutely go back here again.

This mountain retreat provided a great space for our family to get together. We loved spending time out on the deck and taking in the incredible view, and the hot tub was an added bonus. We ate all our meals at the cabin, and the kitchen was well equipped to meet our needs. The drive to the top of the mountain takes a little bit of time, but the paved road most of the way makes it really manageable. I would definitely recommend this space for any family looking for a place to spend time together!

Beautiful place! It offered everything you could need and more! Host was amazing, responded quickly and very accommodating!

The cozy cabin is really well decorated and well stocked. It provided a private and peaceful mountain getaway for a married couple and our dog. I would recommend an AWD vehicle as you have to travel a mile down a gravel road with no cell reception to get there. Richard is a great host!

Nicole’s home was amazing. The view was incredible and the cabin was so cozy and peaceful - everything we were wanting for this trip. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and there were very thoughtful details left for us to enjoy. Nicole communicated so many details leading up to the trip and checked in during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. The hot tub was a great perk and was clean and had the best view of the mountains. Nicole truly thought of everything to make this feel like your home away from home. It was so peaceful and serene. We will definitely be back! A huge thank you to Nicole for sharing her space with us.

The host was great! Very responsive to questions and extremely thorough with guest rules/suggestion book. The home was as expected. They provide pretty much everything you could think of. I was throughly impressed by what all was available. The only thing I would suggest is maybe being extra toilet paper because we did not have much provided to us and ended up running out. The check out was simple. She doesn’t ask you to do too much. The location was decently located near Boone. It’s on a mountain so it will take you about 15-20 minutes to get into town. Other places are a bit longer. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded get away with hiking options, then this is your place!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful, and the owners are wonderful. We forgot a cable and the owners reached out and offered to ship to it us. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The chalet is exactly as it is in the photos. The place is beautiful and close to the main attractions but the access has many curves. If you suffer from motion sickness easily, this may not be the best option. The house is well equipped, the environment is clean and communication with the host is satisfactory. We will certainly return to the chalet.

We loved the cabin. It had plenty of room for our family. The cabin is beautiful inside and out.

This cabin was an adorable, cozy place to stay on Lake Wylie! We were close to all the amenities in downtown Belmont and had all the comforts of home!

The only thing wrong with my stay is that I worked long hours and didn't have more time to relax and enjoy it. So peaceful and quiet, had everything I needed. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed multiple times and it’s been amazing each time!

This was wonderful for a couples getaway, definitely “off grid”. As my wife who doesn’t love camping said, this is as close to camping as you could get but still feel comfortable and have the amenities that she needs on a daily. The shower has amazing hot water from the instant hot water heater and the bed was warm and comfortable. Will definitely consider staying again in the future if we come back to Boone for a weekend.

Christie's place is beautiful comfortable and so clean. we all enjoyed our stay at her beautiful cabin. everyone felt right at home. thank you so much Christy for sharing your home with us. would love to come back again.

Second time quilting at Sarah’s. You will not find a more beautiful setting, wonderful hostess, or perfect quilting cabin than this place. We will definitely be back.

I thanked Lisa for building a cabin that was perfect for me. Fire place, singing creek at the end of the yard, close to everything and tucked away nicely. And the most comfortable chairs for reading. The wi-fi was strong enough to reach to the creek. Which allowed me to watch the PBS Newshour by the creek….but maybe I should have paid more attention to the creek and less attention to the news. Great place!

Enjoyed our stay very much. House was very cool and comfortable. Beautiful setting with overlook of the river Unfortunately, due to the weather, didn't get much chance to use the trails near the house - but were @ 25 min from hikes at Pilot Mountain. Communication was terrific - and the extra info about finding house came in very helpful. Enjoyed stay and would book again if traveling to the area.

The cabin was so cozy. The gas fireplace was a hit. We soaked up the warmth as we watched movies. Beautifully decorated and perfect for a mountain getaway.
