Hannah's cottage is spacious, comfortable, quiet, well situated and easy to find- added to which she is a most helpful host. The view across to the mountain is spectacular, particularly in the evening light, and had the weather been warmer we would have spent most of our time on the terrace. As it was, the heating was excellent and the view still pretty awesome from inside the well-furnished sitting room! The centre of Dunkeld is only a short and pleasant walk away. Hard to imagine a nicer place to stay in this locality.

Ticked all the boxes and more. Great central location, very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was extra well equipped including air fryer, rice maker and mixer. Little touches were much appreciated.

Jessica’s house was well positioned and clean and tidy. She had everything we needed for our nights stay.

This is still one of my favorite places that I have been able to visit! Brendan and Petas place is beautiful inside and out, there is just so much to do and explore!! Their place has plenty of space, is private and secure as well. It is really such a beautiful place to visit!!

lovely apartment, great kitchen with all utensils needed to cook up a meal after a day exploring. Really, I'd stay again at my earliest opportunity. My wife's brother and sister loved the kangaroos that sauntered past in the evening. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathrooms spotless.

Sandra is one of the nicest hosts I’ve ever had. She was so courteous and helpful when we needed additional accommodation booked, and was happy to communicate even though she was on her own holidays. Great location in town too. Walking distance to the food strip and shopping centre.

Helen's place is absolutely delightful. So much room, massive kitchen/living room, great covered outside area in a farm setting. Highly recommended

Our extended family just spent the week at Calando Hill. It felt like being at an exclusive 5 Star resort in regional Victoria. This included the plush bathrobes, fantastic amenities such as the pool, entertainment system, billiard table, cooks kitchen and beautiful interiors. The house itself is enormous, but felt cosy and inviting. The views all around are spectacular… and if you like solitude, this is the perfect place. We also managed to fit in a winery visit, hike to a beautiful waterfall and lunch at the local pub in Loxton. This place has something for everyone, and to top it off it’s dog friendly! Thanks Richard and Anita for welcoming us, I am definitely planning a return trip!

Cam’s place is absolutely outstanding, and I can’t recommend it enough. We booked it specifically for the pool, and it far exceeded our expectations. The entire property, including the pool, was spotless - by far the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to feel at home right away. The peaceful neighborhood added to the relaxing vibe, and the privacy of the property was exactly what we were after. The bed was incredibly comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud! I also loved the thoughtful details like the scented candles and diffusers, which created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Your property is absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated, Cam. We had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and perfect for families or bigger groups. The pool was incredible and we had so much fun. The house has absolutely everything you need for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

The tiny house was very clean and well maintained, the seating outside made it pleasant to relax with a cuppa and enjoy the birdlife. views to the Grampians from various spots were pretty and it's clear the owners put money back into the park to do added improvements. Great stop over spot.

Magnificent little stay on our way back to Melbourne from Adelaide. Hosts were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. Was great to meet Dale and Katey! Tiny house was clean and comfortable. The rec room was brilliant for my little fella and the communal kitchen was pristine. The backdrop of the Grampians added to the magic. A great experience and would recommend it for a short or extended stay.

During our holiday stay at this fantastic place with my mother, we had a minor issue with the heater. However, Katey and Dale quickly addressed and resolved the problem. Their attentive and efficient service enhanced our experience at this delightful location even more. I’ll highly recommend it and definitely come back.

Nice little spot in the backroad of Ararat, walking distance from eveything Clean house, easy to get into and lots of parking if you’ve got a few cars

It was a beautiful house located in a peaceful neighbourhood. Host was very easy to communicate and friendly with responses. Clear information with details was provided. We had a very smooth check in and out and it was a great stay.

Beautiful property on the edge of Halls Gap. Tucked away just enough to be private but yet close enough to walk to the town. Great little cabin with all the necessities. Beds were very comfy, bedsheets were so nice. Very efficient air con unit which was appreciated as it was hot. Double shower & spa bath in a good sized bathroom. Dogs allowed which is great too but bring a rope or pen for them if you plan on sitting outside like we did as the whole property is not fenced. All in all a great stay & would recommend.

Wonderful weekend away, beautiful location. Is a very unique stay, Loved the open space and the swing for the kids. Easy to find and would definitely stay again.

My family and our 2 fur babies stayed at Tess’ place for 2 nights as we headed home from our holidays. It was the perfect place for us. The position is quiet but really close to the Main Street so it was easy to pick up supplies. The house is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need. As we had travelled from South Australia we ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounge room had a comfy couch and chairs and the bedrooms were roomy and the linen lovely. The backyard was great for our dogs being pet safe and partly in the shade. A great bonus was how close the house is to the Wimmera River and walking trails. Overall it was the perfect stop over. We will definitely be back to spend more time there and explore the region.

We had a very peaceful week, taking our two GSDs we were very happy to find a large, private and secure garden. A very peaceful street and just a short walk from the town centre. Lots of local options for food and drinks between Stawell, Pomonal and Halls Gap.
