Stellenbosch : locations de vacances dans des cottages

Wir waren bereits zum dritten mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und das sagt in meinen Augen schon vieles aus. Hazel und Christo machen den Aufenthalt jedesmal zu etwas ganz besonderem und ihre Gastfreundschaft ist einfach grandios. Die Ferienwohnung im Landhausstil verfügt über einen Pool zu privaten Nutzung und ist kindergesichert. Zusätzlich gibt es einen HotTub der bei Bedarf angeheizt werden kann. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die perfekte Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen. Die Gegend ist super angenehm, wir haben uns nie unsicher gefühlt. Es sind mehrere Geschäfte und auch Restaurants in 5min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. An die Waterfront braucht man ca. 20min und zur Canal Walk Mall sind es nur knapp 10min. Wir werden mit Sicherheit ein viertes mal kommen.

Highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting to get the full Franschhoek experience. Marlicia, and her husband are gracious hosts, more than accommodating when we needed a spot to park, their place is gorgeous, especially their backyard. The only downside about our stay is that we didn’t have enough time to enough the garden and the pool more. The location is also just a 6 min drive from the Franschhoek wine tram/bus station!

Loved our stay! It can be hard to find somewhere that can accommodate a group of 10, but the cottage was spacious enough for us, and had plenty of communal space to hang out! Great back yard with small pool, wood fire hot tub, and braai area with fire pit, couldn't ask for a better set up to connect with a group of friends over meals or just to hang out. A highlight for me was the fact that the kitchen had large doors that opened directly into the back yard, overlooking a large outdoor dining table, so there was a great natural flow of conversation and food! The hosts were incredibly kind and understanding, helped us when needed, and made us feel welcome. Great stay, will be back!

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

Very peaceful and quiet spot yet easily walkable into Franschhoek centre with lots of lovely restaurants and shops and of course the wine tram! We loved the stunning view of the mountains and the outdoor area with hot tub as well as bath/shower was pretty cool! Nicola was a great host, very responsive and clear instructions - the cottage itself is comfy and very private and we loved the natural surroundings. Great for exploring the wonders of Franschhoek!

My husband and I visited Sage Cottage after our wedding on Thursday as a 'mini moon'. It was such a beautiful, peaceful environment with a fantastic ambience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a cost effective, yet beautiful, getaway. The wood fired hot tub is so unique. We loved every minute of it!

The cottage was fantastic, beautiful setting with great privacy. You have a whole dam to yourself, walk in the vineyards, relax in the wood fire hot tub under the stars. No complaints, but do not plan to cook a lot of meals, the kitchen is small and washup area, we lit a braai outside and that was perfect. Definitely would recommend and return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful little cottage. It was very clean, safe, cozy and peaceful. Actually, the word "serene" keeps popping into my head when I think of our stay! The garden is so very interesting and I spent quite a bit of time simply staring at the various plants and arrays that have been set up. Having breakfast at the outdoor table was such fun and an opportunity for us to bond and plan our day. I highly recommend this cottage; it is a true gem.

We absolutely loved our weekend away at Matt’s place! The views are breathtaking, and the setting is so peaceful, safe, and secure. The home has such great style and attention to detail—it’s the perfect escape from the city. Everything was just as described (if not better!), and can’t wait to be back soon. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying with Lisa and it was just as amazing as the first time. There has been some remodeling and it’s even cozier and more spacious now. This definetly won’t be our last time here.

Ótima hospedagem dentro de uma vinícola. A casa é simples e tinha tudo que precisávamos, os arredores são maravilhosos. Vista incrível, gramado e jardim amplos, piscina agradável. Tudo isso em uma localização privilegiada a apenas 10 minutos de Franszoechk e 20 de Stellenbosch. Chris foi muito simpático e atencioso, sempre ajudando e pudemos fazer check out mais tarde já que não tinham hóspedes novos chegando no dia.

Phillip war ein super netter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und wir haben uns den ganzen Aufenthalt über sehr wohl gefühlt. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen. 🤞

This is a very special area and the accomodation was perfect for our needs, with its exclusive view overlooking the pristine nature reserve and ocean. Highly recommended!

A fantastic 2 week stay at Deborah’s cottage - just as described and with all the amenities we could need and more with an 11 month old. A quiet, safe neighbourhood which was a perfect base to explore Cape Town and beyond. What makes this Airbnb stand out is the great service and communication from Deborah, who always responded quickly, offered lots of recommendations and made us feel very welcome. We chose the cottage to make daily living as comfortable as possible with our daughter and benefited from having the car right outside, a secure and shaded garden, laundry facilities, well equipped kitchen, open plan kitchen/ living area to watch her play and a comfortable travel cot. Thanks again!

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt, und haben die Ruhe und die viele Pflanzen und Blumen genossen. Gerne wieder!

We felt very welcome safe and secure at Richard’s charming accommodation. It was neat as a pin with thoughtful touches. We enjoyed a swim in the pool. Richard gave us helpful recommendations for the area. Delighted to find such a gem so close to the city. We will definitely come back.

Very clean and modern peaceful accommodation. Check in and out was very easy. Having Springboks free roaming in the gardens is also a big plus if you love animals. definately recommended.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sterna. La déconnexion est garantie, nous avons beaucoup aimé nous réveiller chaque matin entourées de chevaux et de chèvres, avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes ! Le cottage est à seulement quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Franschhoek, ce qui est très pratique.

Stuart’s Cottage was a dream find! Unbelievably peaceful, quiet and perfect! We felt right at home with Gianluca & Elmarie. Would definitely book for more than the 2 days we stayed and it’s in the perfect location, close to restaurants, Strand beach and accessible to the wine route via stellies. Would highly recommend Stuart’s Cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful and pleasant stay!

We have had a lovely stay with Mel on her beautiful wine farm. The spot tranquil and beautiful and Mel has been incredibly accommodating! Definitely would recommend and definitely will be returning!

A fantastic experience. Friendly hosts who know the area. The garden and pool are an oasis of calm. Close to the lovely Keurboom park and Newlands Cricket grounds. Experienced and friendly hosts. Every place has its pluses and minuses. The only downside here is that you need to go through a bedroom to access the toilet and bathroom. But for a small family like ours this wasn’t an issue and the warm hospitality, pool and garden more than made up for it. Highly recommended!
