This is an excellent home for staying near the slopes! The beds were super comfortable, the welcome basket, kid friendly amenities, and provided essentials were very much appreciated. We would love to stay here again.

The entire stay was wonderful. We enjoyed our time in Daniel's beautiful home and were able to truly relax. The views from the deck and hot tub are stunning. There is plenty of nature to explore all around the cabin itself and we were able to find plenty of fun off the beaten path throughout the area. I look forward to returning with family and friends in the future!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is gorgeous—cozy, beautifully kept, and surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. Everything about it made our stay feel special, from the peaceful setting to the hot tub under the stars. It’s tucked away enough to feel private and serene, yet still close to Woodstock for anything you might need. The host was responsive and thoughtful, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a quiet escape

This is our second stay at lazy bayse! We love this house. It is so well equipped and our kids love the golden tee, hot tub, fuse ball, and video games. The beds are all comfy and the house is stocked with everything you need. The owners are extremely responsive also!

Upon arrival we were impressed with the clean, open space. Teresa attention to detail was obvious. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and peaceful. We were able to grill out back and enjoyed the sunshine. A walk to town was delightful. The made from scratch Wild Roots cafe was delicious. Try their cinnamon rolls. The shoppers in the family enjoyed discovering a treasure at the local thrift/variety shop and the White House boutique. We plan to return for a ride on the Potomac Eagle when it’s running.

What an amazing view! Every room is perfectly decorated. Anything you could possibly need was available. We visited during a cold spell so enjoyed the indoor fireplace, complete with plenty of fire starters, seasoned logs, and s’mores fixings! Enjoyed meeting Ozzy the tortoise. Also spotted deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a rabbit. We had our binoculars but didn’t get them out as Ally supplied a better pair. Ally responded quickly to questions. We had a terrific anniversary and highly recommend you book here.

We stay at several airbnbs every year but this was one really stood out! Fantastic peaceful location close to wineries, hikes, and caverns. Kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to easily prepare several meals (Yay for the Keurig!) We enjoyed exploring the area but loved sitting on the front porch just as much. Thanks Ken and Dee for the great experience and letting us bring our pup (we will be sure to write about it more thoroughly in the guest book at our next stay :) )

The place was amazing! There’s everything you would need and more! Taby was the best host I’ve had in a long time and always responsive and quick to help. Love all the amenities provided (games, kayaks, individual toothbrushes, mouth wash, great shampoo/conditioner). The kayaks and the chicken roaming around was a nice touch to the vibe. Taby also come and made sure we were able to plug in our EV during our stay. Super flexible checkout as well! Nothing but great things to say. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer to take the kayaks out!

The house was very attractive and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The mattresses were soft, and we slept well. The screened porch had heat lamps which were a nice touch on the chilly mornings. We enjoyed our stay very much and will likely come again! The only issue we had was the hot tub was not clean, but the owners were communicative about it and apologized when we brought the issue to their attention. Overall very good experience.
