I had a little one with me and he enjoyed the tub and hot water, which was spotless! I loved the aesthetics and coziness! The welcome book was pretty cool and well put together! I actually enjoy reading the history of your building! Pretty neat! Thank you for a wonderful spot in Old Town Kenai. I will definitely book again in the near future!

Wow, what a great vacation! We could not have asked for anything more. Our hosts, Sarah, Roly, and Marilyn, took such great care of us from the time we arrived, until the day we left. Our apartment was as advertised, and set the perfect location for a great fishing trip. The river access was excellent, just a brief walk to the platform. The fish cleaning station was well lit, and very clean. There are vacuum sealers for your use to preserve your fish and several deep freezers to store your daily catch in until you leave. We were minutes from Fred Meyers, and Safeway, as well as some great places to eat. If you go, be sure to eat at Mykels, and the Acapulco. We are so looking forward to returning, and would highly recommend this property for your ultimate fishing experience, or just an amazing getaway.

This is a great little duplex with comfortable furniture and very clean living area. Close proximity to river made this a perfect spot to base camp from.

Had a great stay! It was great the place was already stocked with toiletries in shower and coffee and amenities in the kitchen! Clean and tidy and a great lil spot to stay!

We stayed for over 6 weeks after relocating to the area and purchasing our home. The apartment was in a great location, and we appreciated having a kitchen and room to spread out since we were staying for a longer time. Mary was always very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Sandi was such a wonderful host! This place is so cosy and full of amenities for you to use / enjoy. Was a great place to base ourselves right on the Kenai river while we explored the peninsula.

Jessica was a great host and was able to accommodate our needs. A basic apartment, the beds were comfortable and the dark shades in the main bedroom were a big help considering the late sunsets in the summer months. Close to amenities but far enough away so you can enjoy seeing moose in the nearby swamp!

It worked out fine for our needs for last-minute fishing trip during peak season. It was very basic with a bathroom, comfortable beds refrigerator, heat and a TV (was not used). Host was extremely accommodating and very passionate about getting people out on the river fishing. You do need to use bottled water for drinking and making coffee, as it is pretty metallic like a lot of Alaska water. You come here expecting exactly what you see. Book your fishing trip with scout lake adventures.

This was a great place, super cute, we loved the décor and all of the nice touches. Where something might be inconvenient, they thought of a way to make up for it. They had plugs on the nightstands for phones, touch lights, remote for the ceiling fan, etc, etc. They had everything we needed and so much that we didn't know we needed! We even borrowed their umbrellas. The only drawback was the mineral smell of the water but my daughter knows people who live there and that is very common in that area. It is conveniently located to both Kenai and Soldotna. We would definitely stay there again!

Fred's place is fantastic. Very, very, clean and comfortable. The space was well thought out and useful. Very private and peaceful location. Great place to relax and enjoy all that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. Highly recommend!

Kimberly’s place was as-pictured — clean and comfortable! It’s easy to locate and only a few minutes from the edge of town. Kimberly was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic studio. The 3 of us were comfy and had everything we needed for our visit to Soldotna and Kenai Peninsula. Jackie even had bear spray available if we needed it for hiking (as well as everything else you could need in kitchen and bath plus games and books). Jason was a wealth of knowledge on all things fishing and was helpful with info about area. Their son will vacuum seal your fish for a small fee! It made handling our sockeye catch easy!Everything else was a quick trip to a nearby Fred Mayer. We had a great time and would happily recommend this stay to everyone!

if you need a place that allows a reasonable sized group for a good price, this is the place

Awesome stay, place was very clean in a great location. Very close to shops and restaurants. Black out curtains was a plus. Cool firepit out back. 100% would stay here again.
