Great location and home. We enjoyed the direct access to water, the fire pit, and walkable to a nearby state park for a scenic nature walk. Home had a great number of rooms, beds and bathrooms. There was a large dining table for 8 people with large bay window looking out on the water.

Rented for the weekend with friends for a quick getaway and had a great time! Beautiful and peaceful spot! Very clean and Steve was fantastic to deal with. There was enough space inside and out for all 6 of us to relax and take in the lake view, dine, play games and just enjoy our time together. Great place to stay!

Stayed here with some family for a quick weekend over spring break and we loved it! Great home with so many spaces for everyone. The perfect location for us to hang out and catch up for a weekend. Beautiful home, peaceful lake, and lots of good bars and restaurants close by!

We have stayed at Richard's house twice now. Both times were perfect! The house is very comfortable for a small group just looking to spend time together. It is very clean and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back.

Magical Winter Weekend! Our girls' weekend at Cook’s Cottage was absolutely perfect! We were looking for a cozy winter getaway, and this place exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, with stunning views of the frozen lake. It was the perfect backdrop for our winter wonderland escape. We spent our days curled up by the fireplace, playing games, and catching up. What truly made this trip special were Corey and Michelle's thoughtful touches. Corey’s handcrafted lattes are amazing!The cooking class with Michelle was the highlight of the weekend. Delicious! The house was impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Corey and Michelle were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.

Perfect location. Easy to get to town. The view is amazing. The stairs were a bit challenging, but other than that, the cottage is so cozy, plenty of natural light. We absolutely did not want to leave. The pier was great. We fished every morning and everyone in our group caught something daily! Laundry room on site. Neighbors were sweet. There’s a shed with life jackets and corn hole bags set and I think it’s called spike ball etc. Everything was fantastic. Thank you again!

This place was absolutely amazing! Our plan was to have a family meet up with all the family members/kids and this was perfect. I couldn’t say enough nice things. If you want a nice place to stay, this is it.

This is such a wonderful 3 story house! The original pressed metal ceilings are so cool! The seating & beds are comfortable, and the toaster oven, microwave, air fryer, & small fridge were perfect for making our own meals rather than eating out. James is close by and was able to pop over quickly when we needed help. 😊 He responded immediately whenever we messaged him. We loved the living room area and spent lazy times watching movies and listening to music. Just be aware the only running water and bathroom is in the basement. It is beautifully decorated and well lit down there. This was no trouble for us, but wanted to make sure others knew. Also, plan on bringing bottled water. This is a lovely old house, and unfortunately the water is very metallic tasting. I usually drink tap water wherever I am, but was not able to drink this. Walmart in Angola has gallons for about one dollar - so that was easy to do. 😁 I highly recommend this lovely place and would stay here again! 😊
