The apartment wasn’t easy to find as Google Maps doesn’t know where 13 Carrochan Gardens is. It seems to think that it is the last house on Mackenzie Drive, so it sent us down there. Maybe some instructions on finding the place might be useful. Once in, everything was as described, very clean, very comfortable and high quality. Highly recommended. The only slight fly in the ointment was that the apartment overlooks a noisy busy road. Everything else was first class.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! Christine has a wonderful apartment that is very comfortable and location is great. Kitchen very well supplied. As to location, we never used our car - lovely walking to the old town and castle - enjoyed immensely. Beds and linens great! You will love Christine and this apartment…..Christine met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. She also helped with answering questions. Love Stirling!

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

I had a problem with logging on to the internet,she responded immediately and all was good.I had a train at 11:30 and she let me check out at 11:00 one hour past check out.Thank you so much.

Margaret and Stuart gave us such a warm welcome. Margaret gave us a full tour of the property. The property has a large garden that my 5 Yr old loved to explore in. The property itself had everything you need and had comfy beds! We used the off road parking. It's in such a quite location, not a long walk down into Helensburgh, takes a little longer walking back as it's up hill. We would stay again, 100%!!

Fantastic flat. Had everything we needed, was really clean and tidy. This was our second time staying here and would definitely stay again. Great for wildlife lovers! We watched the kingfishers nesting on the opposite river bank, and many other birds including a dipper and goosanders, and had a friendly beaver swim past. So handy for shops, local pub for an evening meal out and access to lots of walks in the local area. Would highly recommend.

We had the best weekend celebrating a special birthday. Mhairi was so attentive and fast at responding. The neighbours were so kind and welcoming to us. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you can think of! The underfloor heating was magical. Everything was perfect!

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at Shona's place. This stay ranks as our best guest experience. Shona is a great host, very friendly and helpful with suggestions and information. The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything you may need. We slept well as the bed was extremely comfortable and the location very peaceful. We had a great meal at the local called the Old Mill . The local Co--Op supermarket is really handy for picking up provisions and the staff extremely warm and helpful. Kiilearn is a very pretty village with friendly locals and fabulous walks from the centre. If you fancy a break from driving to surrounding amazing local places, then the house is very close to the bus stop. with a really efficient bus service. We went into Glasgow - the journey takes about an hour. We were sad when it was time to leave and wouldn't hesitate to return to Killearn and Shona's beautiful home.

I booked with Judith for my colleagues when they were working away. Judith's property was perfect for them, nice and quiet (working nights) and enough parking for their vans. Judith herself is amazing, so attentive and thoughtful about the guests. She answered my many questions prior to check in, and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I know the lads had a great stay and it really makes a real difference to have such a kind host when they are working away for long periods at a time. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back if in the area again! Thank you!

Absolutely stunning property and location. The house is just beautiful with lovely furniture and fittings and the views from house and terraces amazing! Such a peaceful and restful location place, highly recommend!!!

Great find in Callanders main street. Three spacious bedrooms, nice sitting area, hot tub, outstide games room and pretty outdoor undercover seating area. Fully equipped kitchen with provisions and cleaning products. Close to various nature walks and lovely restaurants nearby also. Definitely value for money.

Absolutely stunning surroundings. Beautiful house, photos don’t do it justice and it’s much bigger than it looks. We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful scenery from the huge windows. Amazing restaurants Mhor 84 and monachyl Mhor for a sublime dining experience. Stones throw from the loch . Already booked up to stay again!

Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

Laura and Ronnie were really helpful and friendly. They were very accessible and explained the facilities well. The cabin is very well equipped and has lovely luxurious bedding, a great bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchen is sweet and a comfy sofa with TV made it a pleasure to sit in. The added pleasure was Bertie the gorgeous golden retriever who was such a sweetie. I think the views are outstanding and would love to see them in the summer! Very happy to recommend this property. Good communication from host, stunning location, everything in good condition, a few local bars and restaurants. Under 5 minutes walk to railway station, right on the riverside path, 10-15 minutes walk to loch.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Airbnb during our visit to Loch Lomond. The location was perfect—close to restaurants, the water, and boat cruises, with several lovely walking paths nearby. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby castle and appreciated the convenience of being centrally located near the train and bus stations, making it easy to take a bus trip to Luss. The home had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, and we were pleasantly surprised by the snacks left for us. The owner was extremely responsive, answering our questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Loch Lomond!

Our stay at the Old Jailhouse was beyond what I even dreamed. The check in was a breeze. Parking was close and convenient. The lovely touches, like fresh eggs and milk, chilled rosé, chocolate, and more felt so luxe. The welcome message on the chalkboard wall with the local suggestions made us feel right at home. The decor and design of the over 200 year old apartment felt new and fresh, while also being thoughtful of the culture and area. Along with the aesthetically pleasing elements, everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well-appointed and the bathroom had soap, lotion, and plenty of towels. The location of the property could not be beat- literal steps to the old jail and just a hop, skip, and a jump down the road from the castle. Bars, cafes, and shops were aplenty just down the road. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you again for such a lovely stay, Daniel.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.

As always, staying at Lisa's place was great. It's always my go to choice if it's available when I'm visiting and I would highly recommend to others.
