What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Vi havde den dejligste uge i Joannas smukke hus med den dejligste udsigt. Børnene nød den store have og vi hyggede os alle med at nyde udsigten til søen fra spabadet. Vi nød roen og stilheden og de mange dyrelyde. En kold dukkert i søen og så op i saunaen var en god afslutning på en dejlig dag i Joannas hus. Giver de varmeste anbefalinger.

A great very well-equipped little house with a fantastic view of the sea. We would like to come back at any time.

Great relaxing experience, fully deserves the "superhost" badge. Rooms and Jaccuzi pre-heated before check-in, you can feel overall a commitment from the host to provide superior hospitality. The place is full of amenities (soaps, hand towels, candles, etc..), nice decoration touches. Sauna and jaccuzi looked quite new and worked perfectly. We appreciated the modern equipments (Apple TV, dryer). The football goals available in the garden were a real plus for our boys. We'd like to come back in the summer when more outdoor activities are possible, so we can explore vätö a bit more.

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

Fantastiskt hus i lugnt villaområde. Helt magisk med uppvärmd pool och Bastu. Värdparet är också väldigt trevliga och svarar snabbt när man undrar något ☺️

Vi hade en riktigt härlig vecka, nära till bad med fin sandstrand. Mysig trädgård och altan att tillbringa dagarna på. Catrin var enkel att nå vid frågor. Vi rekommenderar varmt både Catrin och boendet.

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Very nice and cosy hut, well equiped. Nice remote place in the countryside. The host was ready to provide us enough of firewood for a drying of wet clothes. Five people fit there very well. Very friendly cat Oscar and beautiful horses on the premises :-)

Mattias är en helt underbar värd som bryr sig innerligt om sina gästers bekvämlighet. Hans gästfrihet och service är top-notch och kan enbart rekommendera att stanna över i deras Airbnb om ni vill ha en mysig och bekväm logi som är bang for the buck! En vacker vy tillkommer :) Vi fick till och med en gratis uppgradering och blev så varmt välkomnade. 10/10. Om vi har vägarna förbi igen så hade jag inte tvekat en sekund att boka Mattias Airbnb igen.

Har besökt detta ställe flera gånger, och det är perfekt för ändamålet. Det stora utrymmet på tredje våningen är som gjort för ändamål som behöver mycket plats. Köket är socialt, och sovrummen är bekväma och mörka.

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

Two of our company workers stayed in this accommodation, everything was just like it was mentioned in the description. The place was really nice, the surrounding area is pleasing. Elin was a great host, only the best recommendations. Would gladly stay here again ;)

I booked this spot to get some peace and quiet in nature, away from the city, and that’s exactly what I got! I was there the second week of September. The island’s off-season had started so there was no other human in site - which was a little spooky at times for a solo traveler - but Stina was super responsive and helpful with my questions! She even let me use a few items in her kitchen because there isn’t a grocery store on the island. Definitely make sure you bring enough groceries/whatever else you may need. There were limited ferries to Sandhamn because of the off-season. The outdoor toilet took a little getting used to but it was a part of the experience. Also getting to her place from the ferry stop with my suitcase was rough because there are no paved roads or anything so make sure you just bring a backpack if possible!

Hyvä sijainti ja rauhallinen ympäristö. Mökki oli viehättävä ja sieltä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Majoituksen kruunasi lämmitetty uima-allas sekä sauna. Viihdyimme lapsen kanssa loistavasti.

beautiful location. it's exactly as it looks and our 8 year old loved the raft ferry to the island. we loved the sauna and the views. Alexander was very kind and responsive.

A cosy cabin behind Karin’s house with a lot of privacy still. Karin kindly greeted us when we arrived and provided us with a lot of tips for h to the area and Stockholm. The beach nearby is small but quiet. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped and had everything we needed. We had a great stay.

Ruhige, abgelegene Lage. 10 min zu Fuß zum Strand. Wir waren zu viert mit 2 Kindern (4 &7). Sehr entspannend. Nach Nyköping sind es gut 15 min mit dem Auto. Die Gegend lädt aber wunderbar zum Radfahren und Wandern ein. Es waren Spielsachen im Haus aber auch am Pool zur freien Entnahme. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zum Thema Sauberkeit ☺️ unsere Vormieter dürften es nicht ganz so genau genommen haben, also haben wir einfach selber zum Staubsauger gegriffen. Göran war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Im der Unterkunft war wirklich alles und teilweise noch viel mehr vorhanden. Wie zB Kaffee und Filter oder eine riesen Kiste Playmobil für die Kids. Werden wieder kommen

Nous sommes une famille Française, et souhaitions pour notre voyage louer une maison à la campagne avec tout le confort nécessaire. L'adresse indiqué est très facile à trouver avec un GPS. Erika nous a accueilli malgré notre arrivée tardive ( nous nous sommes arrêté faire les courses à GNESTA. Nous avons trouvé chez Erika ce que nous recherchions. Très belle maison. à 15 minutes du train de banlieue ( pendel tag) pour se rendre à Stockholm. La maison propose le lave linge, lave vaisselle, etc. Nous sommes venu la semaine de Noel, et Erika nous a gentiment proposé d'aller couper un sapin en forêt et nous a prêté des décos de Noel pour notre sapin. quel bonheur pour un papa de partir en forêt avec son petit pour aller couper un arbre pour Noël. ( MERCIE ERIKA). Nous avons même eu la très bonne surprise de croiser une famille d'élans proche de la maison. Nous partons régulièrement en voyage à travers la France ou l'Europe, mais ce voyage restera le plus beau que nous ayons fait. Merci

Ich habe mich in dem gemütlichen typisch schwedischen Sommerhaus sofort wohl gefühlt. Auch draußen hatte ich sofort meinen Lieblings Sonnenplatz. Mir hat es an nichts gefehlt!

I just spent the evening on one of the Stockholm Archipelago islands, Ingarö, at Erika‘s beautiful cottage. Peacefully reading in the most quaint and cozy little spot in the forest, a lovely hike to the shores, staring at the large trees from the outside jacuzzi, sitting in the heat of the beautiful sauna… What an amazing and much-needed evening! But the best part of all, Erika was the most amazing host I’ve ever had in my entire life! She made sure that I was more than comfortable and everything was perfect. I truly can’t wait to come back!
